Sharky’s Woodfired Mexican Grill

The Manager MARCO is simply the BEST – he is dedicated, positive, and works extremely hard to accommodate his customers. He is an asset to the franchise and deserves to be recognized for his exemplary attitude and professionalism. I have been patronizing this particular store for almost two years now – at least 3 – 4 X a month. EVERY time I come into the store – MARCO and his fabulous team welcome me with SMILES and are courteous and friendly. The entire team is to be acknowledged – from the cooks to the cashiers – they make coming to Sharky’s a wonderful experience. I would give MARCO and his team 6 stars if I could!

I have been here three times since my time here in the Valley.
I love the fact that the food here is all organic and non-​GMO (hard to find in the Valley). I have only had the tacos on corn tortillas and the fajita tacos on corn tortillas but all were pretty good. It is always crowded and the service has been top notch.

Sharky’s is my favorite Mexican food chain, it’s fresh, healthy, local and tasty! Would recommend!

Love, love, LOVE this place ! I live in LA came here on a little road trip ! BY FAR best Mexican places I have ever eaten ! (Exaggeration? Maybe lol) but this place is good, service was super good staff are nice and helpful /​attentive !! Food was high quality love that they say it’s organic and u can actually taste the quality in the food they serve! I got a steak burrito and chicken nachos !! And btw if your a salsa lover like I am they have a small section for fresh salsa that actually taste fresh ! Sorry to sound dramatic but I feel in love with this place ! Will be coming back next time around no doubt about it ! :)

This location gets very crowded during lunch hours on weekdays. Even with the crowd, they are always prompt. Super friendly staff and food is most often correct. Only downside is parking and finding seating.

Let me start the review by saying this has been my go to place for fast Mexican since it opened. But today they lost a customer… Not because of food quality or even service because those are always great with Sharkys. The reason for this rating is because of the extreme price hike in the last week, when you go into a restaurant a few times a month and the price for the item you get is always the same it comes as a shock when you are asked to pay a far higher price for no reason. I ran a restaurant for many years and completely understand economy, worker wages, inflation etc but to go from a $ 14 quesadilla (which is already a bit pricey) to a $ 21 dollar quesadilla overnight is just plain greed. I even asked the cashier if there was a mistake and she responded that some of the prices had gone up slightly… a dollar or 2 is slightly but $ 7 is ridiculous… I’m hoping Sharkys contacts me and tells me there has been a grave mistake because otherwise I have to boycott this place out of principle.

One of my go to’s for a healthy but tasty lunch! I love to call ahead and pick up! So many options to choose from, I love their Numex salad and a plate with their salmon and 2 sides. Only downside is there is ample parking, especially during lunch. They need «to-​go» only parking spots but food is delicious and love their variety of salsas.

There’s not much options in the ‘BU/​Calabasas/​Agoura Hills area, but sharky’s doesn’t fail with Mexican food! I’m a total health nut, so I loved how the calories were displayed and I loved how sweet employees were when it came to helping me out as to what I should order. Def recommend This location– good for a casual Mexican lunch

Horrible food. Not real Mexican food. I don’t even think my dog would eat it. Tomato sauce on your burrito. Ruined my dinner here tonight

Since they opened they’ve always been pretty solid. I’ve had maybe one bad experience, at another location, out of about 100 visits.

For a place to dine healthy just off the 101: Perfect. A place to get foods after a long day in the Malibu Creek State Park: perfect. Expect high-​quality salsas and wild-​caught fish (Alaska Cod and Salmon, Mahi-​mahi) organic black beans and brown rice, even grilled tofu! Served fast. Oh, and they have a liquor license for beers, sangria. I’m surprised I don’t see more runners, hikers, bicyclists here. It’s a best-​kept secret! Sorry, locals, but I gotta give a shout-​out when it’s due. :d mmmmm!

Work colleagues decided to eat here for lunch. I ordered the mahi mahi burrito. Healthy and delicious. Serviced with beans, rice. Best part of the meal was the salsa bar. They have generous portions of 4 – 5 different kinds of salsa. Fun to try each of them and to mix and match. They even had a kind of guacamole sauce, which was tasty.
I ordered the watermelon basil drink. The drink was tasty and super fun to drink. Just like being at a picnic.

I’ve found a great and healthy restaurant in Shark’y close to my home. Chipolte — I still love you too but you have some competition.

Love this healthy food! It was nice to get a break from the greasy fast food and eat some organic, nutritious and healthy options. Great and convenient location with good parking. The employees were very friendly and I could taste the freshness in every bite. Very family friendly!
I had the wild salmon burrito which had seaweed in it as well! I loved the hot sauce and it was refreshing meal after our visit to the beach! Check out this place for healthy alternatives! Delicious! And I am def going back for the great atmosphere and good food!

They had really good items on the menu, organic and such. I got the nachos with chicken. it was ok, chicken was a little dry, it had jalapeños which was good and the amount of topping to nachos ratio was good, the guacamole and sour cream was on the side which I liked BUT it was such a small portion, and avocado is probly one of the expensive things to put on nachos, so for 12 bucks I would expect more guacamole!
I got this watermelon mint lemonade and it was very delicious and refreshing!
I will try something else the next time I’m in the area.

I’ve been coming to this Sharky’s location for about a year now and it is always delicious and the service is always top notch :) I work nearby so the location is very convenient. Most places that have organic ingredients and healthy food options tend to be very expensive but Sharky’s is wallet friendly and doesn’t make you feel regretful, the way fast food makes me feel regret. I usually get the Bean and Cheese Burrito ($ 5.49) cause it’s the cheapest thing on the menu and it is yummy and very filling, especially after a workout. My budget is tight so having food that is both healthy and low-​cost is super amazing. My favorite thing on the menu is the Fajita Bowl (with tofu!) but their Harvest Quinoa salad, Tosdada, and power plates are also great. I will definitely keep coming back to this Sharky’s and keep trying everything on their menu :)
For the health conscious who want to indulge in a guilt free and sugar free drink with your food I highly recommend the tropical iced tea with one packet of Splenda for a subtle sweetness. I also recommend purchasing the reusable Sharky’s cup if you’re a frequent Sharky’s visitor since refills are only a dollar. I get my money’s worth by refilling my cup 3 times per visit. Since I am a regular at this location the staff usually let me enter the establishment earlier than their posted time and give me free chips while I wait for my food.

After my friend and I’s original dinner destination closed unexpectedly, we decided to come here since our hotel gave us a coupon what with the restaurant being a minute walk away from our room. This ended up being one of those, «One door closes and a better door opens» moments.
We walked in and were greeted by friendly, helpful employees, a clean environment, and trendy decorations. This place already looked steps above our usual Chipotle and Costa Vida restaurants. My eyes instantly went to the large jars of freshly made lemonades and endless salsa varieties in the back. First impressions are important and this one excelled with theirs.
I got the grilled salmon plate, and my friend the fish tacos. I practically skipped all the way to the salsa bar (I just really like salsa, okay?) and tried every single one. Loved them all. There were at least 7. Pico de gallo, cilantro and onions, marinated carrots and onions, were all offered and then some to help make your meal complete. The salmon was grilled perfectly, and my friend’s fish tacos were excellent and a well portioned. We ate every last morsel off of our plates, it was so good.
Sadly, we live in Arizona so we won’t be able to come back. But next time we’re in California, we will definitely be coming back. With decent prices, excellent food, great service, and a clean shop (this is important to me since once upon a horrific Tuesday at Rubio’s I found a dead fly by the salsa bar with awful salsa). The fact that everything here is organic and fresh makes all the difference for a health nut such as myself.
If you’re ever by a Sharky’s and need some good food, hit this place up. You won’t be disappointed.

Ordered ahead and my food was ready by the time I got there. Friendly service as one of the employees husseled over to open the door and wish me a good day. Totally Awesome.
