Came at 215pm weekday was a bit nervous never been there and it was an odd time of day. Food was amazing. Service was delightful and attentive, everyone there seemed very happy. The guacamole was very fresh, very affordable paid about ten bucks less then I would have expected for two at a nice place like LA Paz, I really appreciate that! We will be going back! I dropped off a lyft passenger there is how I found out about them!

Great concept of all you can eat brunch on a Sunday with Mariachi and margaritas BUT the place is starting to let in more people than the capacity and more than is comfortable and enjoyable in my opinion. Food looked good but the lines and elbowing one has to do to get to it is not worth it. Oh and the hour wait outside — even when you have a reservation — is obnoxious. Management should really revisit concept of quality vs quantity in my opinion. I won’t be back.

Don’t come!!! No parking and making reservations is a waste of time. You will still wait in line for 2 hours I would have left but I’m here for a birthday party. The staff is rude and barely speaks English.

Love this place and love that they give the option of margaritas instead of mimosas I luv both! Great food great atmosphere it’s always a great time with friends and family I would recommend getting an über haha and just really enjoying brunch I’ve only gone for brunch here there is a good variety I wish the dessert was better and more options on other things but it has it’s perks after going to luminaries in Monterey park though my thoughts changed about this place because of the variety they have there and how delicious the food was there but la Paz has a funner outdoor atmosphere so ya love them both…

This was definitely one of the best Sunday brunch place I’ve been too. The staff was very attentive and inviting, there were a few unruly patrons but they kept their cool and handled the situations like pros. The food was really good the margaritas were always full. Over all it was an amazing experience thanks guys !!!

In the great high class area of Calabasas lies this roomy and mid-range Mexican eatery which is cooler for party get-together purposes and bar time hangout than it is for world class cuisine. For instance, my Shrimp Ceviche Salad was a mouth freshener with quality(if medium) bites, but it doesn’t strive to be outstanding — it’s solid without having that outrageous splurge or spunk to its taste. Tacos and taquitos are dependable, if pricey snack food. If you live in the area, you shouldn’t mind. You congregate with friends and neighbors here, so you pay for that convenience. #likereally

La Paz is the place for brunch. I could never even think about going anywhere else for brunch after coming here. There is so much food and drinks for a great price. And unlike other brunches, the food is made specifically for the brunch; it’s not the week’s leftover food. I always start off with the albondigas soup and a glass of champagne. I feel the margaritas are too filling, and they get in the way of me being able to stuff my face. I love the prime rib station, turkey station, waffle and pancake station. The have all the standards and sea food too. This is definitely a great place for celebrations, holidays, or an average Sunday.

La Paz is great for happy hour. If you purchase a drink, you get access to the buffet, which usually has some little salads or veggies, as well as a few hot items. My only gripe is that more often than not, there is nothing meat-free available at the buffet. However, since it’s so cheap and you can load up on chips anyway, it’s not a big deal. The drinks are strong, and it’s a nice casual atmosphere with quick service. Food-wise, the portions are big, and you get to pick your sides which is a nice feature. The chile relleno is very good… pretty spicy.

I love trying new places, especially when surrounded by good company, La Paz is the epitome of good food, good drink, and good times to be had the minute you enter the Hacienda themed restaurant. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners son in law who helped us out by showing us where to start, and giving us a heads up that if we were wanting an omelette to get in line before Church let out, because after 11: AM the line doesn’t stop. The staff were super friendly and attentive and that’s always an A++ in my book. If dining with a big group it’s best to get reservations, and if you are going to partake in the Sunday Brunch you pay $ 32 for the buffet and bottomless Margaritas and Mimosa’s, Make sure to have an appetite and loosen your belt or quite frankly wear you stretch pants… because when I tell you that you get your moneys’ worth and your stomachs worth, you surely do. I’ve never seen such a huge spread, from Americanized fare such as link Sausage, hash-browns, mashed potatoes, bacon& pancakes, to your Mexican themed Albóndigas soup, Carnitas, Rice & beans, fajitas, and on and on… to seafood, Ceviche, The drinks are for no lightweight, I think the first margarita knocked me into next week, but it didn’t stop… 4 margaritas later or was it 5… I’d finally had my fill. The Mariachi band were wonderful, they take song requests for tips, you definitely have to get their attention as they are well liked amidst the guests, but they are happy to oblige and we were lucky to get three songs. To end this review all I can say… when are we going back?

Best buffet I’ve been too in years, every kind of meat you could think of cooked to perfection. Omelets cooked to order, pancakes, everything you could imagine that should be in a buffet was here The margaritas and mimosas were very tasty Perfect

La Paz is the best brunch ever! Because it’s $ 32 as of 2015, that includes all you can eat and most importantly ally can drink champagne/mimosas/margaritas! They also have a live mariachi band after 12pm. The omelet bar is amazing! What they also do that is great, is that they offer all the american brunch foods, as well the Mexican. There’s something to please everyone. Oh and the seafood, calamari ceviche, deep fried salmon, and popcorn shrimp, oh my! Food for though, literally, start off with the albondigas soup, if you aren’t a fan of menudo, like my wife. Always make reservations, and prepay so you don’t have to wait in line in that hot Calabasas sun.

Horrible. Ordered mahimahi that tasted like plastic. Ceviche doesn’t taste like ceviche unless you squeeze like 10 lemon in it. And the service is slow. I don’t even know why we came here in the first place lol it was pretty random.

Went here for Brunch on a Sunday with my girlfriends and we had a BLAST! Bottomless Mimosa, Omelette bar, soup, ceviche, fish, margaritas, meat, desserts, the list goes on!!! The service was good, we didn’t go long with empty glasses of mimosas or margaritas. The omelette I got was the best I’ve ever had!!! And the big salmon fish they have was also very amazing, I love the crispy skin on fish, period. I look forward to going again and getting my grub on!!!

The customer service here is absolutely amazing! They are very polite and treat you liked family. They are there at your every need which was great. One of the very few places where I have found service exceptional! The place is very nice and clean. I like that it feels like you’re eating at home. Portions of food are great! big plates so price is understandable. The only reason I give them 3 stars is because the food wasn’t what expected. I ordered the ceviche and it had too much tomatoes felt like it over masked the other favors, the rice was a bit dry, my friend got the chile verde, he really enjoyed that plate, and the beans were good. However, I was expecting much more for what we payed.

Amazing people work here and everybody is incredibly attentive and nice, but the food has declined tremendously, the over filled dishes have no taste and the meats neither, We could not taste any flavor at all. From the sour cream to the guacamole everything was mediocre at best. Disappointing.

Buffet was excellent but definitely understaffed today during my lunch hour. Forgot my drink order and took forever for the check. Overall had a wonderful experience and will definitely go back!

In general all food we had needed condiments had a lack of flavor. Flautas were made out of four, authentic Flautas are made with corn tortillas, the guac had no seasoning(cilantro, salt, onion, etc) Flautas were placed on top of a salad and poco de gallo, this makes the Flautas loose their crispness, Chips and salsa, the salsas really suck I asked for a spicier type and they brought me an habanero, that was the saddest salsa I ever had. The shrimp all mojo de ajo as well no seasoning, in the grilled veggies there was tons of onion, big chops of bell pepper and tomato, The sangria as just wine with berries, no lemon juice, orange liquor or orange juice(maybe that’s my way of making a sangria) Definitely will not be back
