4:30 appointment. I get a call at 3:45 asking if I can push it 15 minutes later, so I call back and confirm. So I arrive at 4:45 and wait 30 minutes. At 5:15 gave up and left. That is not «running late with a customer». That is failing to honor a reservation. If your time has any value, suggest you avoid this place.

Went in for a simple men’s haircut. Left with what looked like a weed whacker haircut. Now, a few hours later, I’m sitting at another place waiting to get this monstrosity fixed. I think it would be best if Andrew didn’t cut men’s hair anymore.

I have been coming to Centre for several years now. The front desk staff are welcoming and attentive… definitely on their game! When arriving for appointments, I am greeted with smiles before reaching the counter!
MYRNA is my aesthetician… and the ONLY person I trust with my brows. She understands exactly what I’m trying to achieve. She is exceptionally attentive, as well as careful and precise. Over time, she has skillfully transformed my sparse blonde brows into beautifully full and defined brows. Aside from being talented, she is an absolute sweetheart with a fantastic sense of humor.
CHELSEA is my hairdresser. Her skills are downright amazing and utterly brilliant. She is clever, thoughtful, and ambitious with a contagious personality to boot! She has turned my mousy hair into a beautiful thing of Balayage blondeness! I regularly receive compliments on how good my hair looks.

Love this place! Chelsea did an amazing job on my hair. I always want a hair dresser who just knows what to do with my hair but they always fall short. I came prepared this time with photos of what I wanted but once I mentioned the word bob to Chelsea she knew exactly what to do and how to make the style work with my hair type. Plus she took the time to teach me how to style it and explain what products would help. It’s not often you get educated when you get your haircut. Totally recommend this place!

I have been meaning to write about my favorite stylist, Brandon, for a long time. He has been coloring and cutting my hair for over a year now. Brandon is fantastic! He always listens to my crazy ideas and endless photos that I bring in and nails it! I get so many compliments on my hair. He has mastered my beautiful blonde with highlights and lowlights that looks natural and at same time looks WOW. For a special event, he styled my hair in a 60’s style that was fun and sexy at the same time. Brandon will always do his best to fit you in, even if he has to work late and I am the only client in the salon. Finally, he uses product that is the only color that doesn’t burn my scalp like at my old salon.

Haley is the bomb! Great range of cuts – can clean up your current style or give you a whole new look. She’s easy to talk to about what options are best for you and which products will keep your cut looking fresh. Go see her!

Got a great men’s haircut from Brianne. Bri took her time, recommended a slightly different style from my regular, which I went for and it looks great. Forgot to mention, Bri started with a head and neck massage that felt so good I almost fell asleep! Bri made the haircut feel quick because she has a great personality, I would highly recommend her.

The salon has a nice relaxing feel, everyone was really welcoming. Ashlee cut my hair and I LOVED it! Creative– to give me a new cut that I’ve never had, but conservative enough to make sure it wasn’t too drastic of a change for me. I’ll be back!

Haley has been keeping my hair shiny & healthy for 2 years now. Seriously, I look like I’m in a shampoo commercial. I live on the east side, so you know she must be good for me to trek out all the way to Calabasas. She also returned my hair to its natural color after some old highlights went brassy & straw-​like.

Nicely designed space and a professional vibe. I followed Haley here a considerable distance from another salon (in Silver Lake) because she knows her stuff — she specializes in men’s cuts — and is also cool as all get out. I went in with half-​formed visions a disconnected undercut, the hipster style du jour, and she helped me hash out exactly how disconnected I actually wanted to be (about half). Cut to 20 minutes later and I’m looking as cool as I can get (which is not that cool but my haircut looked great).

Been getting my hair cut by Haley O. for a long time, fantastic men’s cuts. Highly recommended. I don’t even bother going anywhere else. Thanks Haley!

Haley O is the way to go. She’s been doing my hair for the last two years. I see her for cuts, color, and makeup. She can do everything! I drive from the Eastside to Calabasas, that’s how good she is. If you’re nice, she might even tell you some jokes.

I had not cut my hair in two years because I had so many bad experiences before! I love my hair and keeping it long and as most people joke about, when you tell a stylist you want two inches off, you usually leave with more off. I also have pretty thick hair and some people just don’t thin it the way I like. I decided to take a chance and come here to get my haircut since I definitely had a ton of split ends and I’m so glad I did! Andrew took care of me and cut off exactly what I wanted and was so nice! The last guy I went to charged me over $ 70 and was in Woodland Hills and always made me feel like he was doing me a favor by «helping» to blow dry my own hair, but Andrew left me with my length, but much lighter, and a gorgeous blowout! I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’m actually excited to get my hair cut again! So long as it’s with him!

We came in with a groomsman in need for some cleaning up and Andrew came through! Cleaned my boy up nicely and we felt very accommodated and taken care of.

I am over the moon with my hair after coming to this place! My stylist was Chelsea. She has been the only person in years to get my hair exactly as I want it! I will definitely be using Chelsea as my hairdresser from now on. Everyone at this salon is very friendly, it is such a nice place to come and get your hair done!

First off I wanted to say this place is AWESOME! I have to mention the staff– Very sweet and kind… They don’t try to push you on selling products and they’re honest. I’ve been seeing Heather for a few months now and I’m extremely pleased with my results. Which makes me come back every time! I LOVE IT HERE… I’m a great customer and I’m here to stay :)

This was my second or third time to see Janet at Centre Salon. I’m giving it 3 stars because my first visit I didn’t review my experience and it was definitely 5 stars. I received tea which was delicious by the really nice receptionist and Janet was super attentive and did a nice job with my hair. She also gave me an amazing neck massage and a really nice discount for my first time. I left super happy.
The second and third times were not as good. The receptionist is always sweet and provides the yummy tea. Janet was running behind by at least 30 minutes both times and as I watched other patrons being massaged I never received my massage. She booked a client in between my color and never came back to attend to me! Ashley, who was very sweet, washed my hair and blew my hair out. Five stars for Ashley!

Ashlee is the greatest.
She has dyed my hair numerous different colors, cut it different lengths and styles and is always attentive and has appointments when I am in dire need! She is easy going and doesn’t pressure you and is chill to talk to.
I will continue to be a repeat customer of hers.

I absolutely love this place, i was only able to go a few times because it is a two hour drive for me but it was worth it! Miguel is amazing, went in with ugly bleachy hair and came out with a beautiful purple. I’ve even driven out to get my boyfriends hair cut and Miguel killed it at that as well. Everyone in the salon was extremely welcoming and helpful. I would totally recommend this salon and Miguel especially to anyone in the area, they do some amazing quality work.

I came here with a party of 5 (the bride + 4 bridesmaids) for bridal styling. There were 2 people dedicated to doing all of our hair in 2 hours.
The bride showed up a few minutes early, and she told me although she had made the appointment in advance, she still had to wait a bit before they were ready to see her. I came next – right on time – and they were ready for me in about 2 minutes.
I really liked how the guy did my hair. I told him I wanted it half up, half down, with some volume on top and some face-​framing layers. I have very fine hair, and he teased it as much as he could, so there was a little bit of volume on top, but it was still pretty flat because he didn’t have that much hair to work with.
He also sprayed some Gray Away on my scalp to hide my scalp line and make my hair look fuller for the pictures. LOL.
The end result was really cute, with my hair pinned into a rose in the back of my head and curls cascading down my back. He made the curls pretty tight so they would last the whole day… and they did hold up perfectly for the next 12 hours! So I was quite pleased with my hair. But that’s where it ended.
When I was finished (about 1 hour), I looked over at my friend (the bride), and her hair was still down. It looked like nothing had been done to her hair! I guess they had given her a junior hairdresser and the girl kept spraying and curling, but somehow didn’t know how to pin up my friend’s long, thick hair. After about 1.5 hours, they had to get a senior stylist to step in and take over, and he basically restarted the whole process from scratch. What a waste of time.
The other 3 bridesmaids showed up for the next appointment on time and also got their hair done. But because they ran over schedule with the bride, the salon had to rush at the end, and the last girl only got about 15 – 20 minutes of service.
The bride was completely upset and complained at the counter, so they gave her a $ 20 discount. She had told me that when she had come in the previous week to make the appointments, she was told that they would give us a good price, like $ 50 each. But we were charged $ 70 each.
Out of the 5 of us, I would say 2 of our hairdos came out well, 2 of the updos started falling out even before the wedding started, and the last girl only had a simple half-​up, half-​down hairstyle with a few curls that definitely was not worth $ 70.
I thought Aveda was supposed to be a nice salon, but I don’t know what happened here. It seems like they dropped the ball on the bridal party.
