I stayed the night because another inn and hostel were full for the Friday night. I’m glad I ended up here. First, very close by is a Dunkin’ Donuts. Second, the room is extremely clean and the inn is located along a bus line and a 25 minute walk from the Megabus stop on the UVM campus. Third, the other patrons were very quiet. I really enjoyed the fact that the room had a refrigerator and a microwave and a wall composed of large windows with a view of the backyard.

Truly awful, compared to the other options in the Burlington area. I would stay here only in an emergency, i.e., you’re really broke or there is literally no other room to be had. Our room was over $ 100, too, so I don’t know about cheap(to be fair there were 3 beds). There was a CONSTANT drip from the air conditioning above us. The matress had clearly once been on fire(!!), and there were cigarette burns on the bathtub. On the plus side, I have to hand it to the housekeeping staff, because the place was definitely clean. Rundown, outdated and creepy, but clean. I felt safe, but there were some creepy dudes by the pool(I’m wondering if their appearance can be explained by the«extended stay» sign out front?) The location was pretty good and the staff friendly, but I was not comfortable and slept very poorly.

Great for the price! The room was very clean and had a microwave and mini-fridge! If you have a car, it’s quite close to town and the lake and if you’re on foot, Church St. is less than a mile or there’s a city bus as well. The front desk staff were friendly and down to earth, and they even called me when I left my check book in the room after check out! Such honest, nice people :)

My parents always stayed here when they visited me, it ain’t fancy but for the price the inn was great-certainly the cheapest place for such a good location.

Value! Eerily on the empty side both times I’ve been here, this place is a short 20-minute walk from downtown but cheaper than anything else I could find in the area. With such value(single room less than $ 50), I’d expect a good helping of mice to go with my room, but no such deal. The walls are actually fairly freshly painted, there’s a pool. The shower head is so powerful, if you’re not bald already it’ll knock the rest of your hair out. The innkeepers Debra and Tom are old fashioned nice people. Transients welcome.
