SO delicious. Our favorites were the Kobe sliders, the filet mignon empanadas, and the lamb skewers

Delicious food, excellent service. They even have a tv to watch the game! This neighborhood simply breeds great shops.

Came here for dinner today with my colleagues. Really liked the food here. We had the seafood cocktail for appetizers which were really good. The calamari was also fried just nice. Also had the paella seafood which is super tasty. But the sangria is not that good. Wouldn’t get that again next time.

Still happy to dine here eventhough we don’t drink. The tapas are good. Tapas are not with a big volume, but the main course is definitely huge. The staff are friendly so we’ll visit again.

I hosted a large family event at Zambra and was 100% satisfied! Everything was fantastic — the food, drinks, service, etc. Thanks to the entire Zambra staff for making our event such a memorable occasion!

A-ok. Tried the meatballs, civeche(skip this), skirt steak tacos, shirt steak, empanadas, and two alcoholic drinks. $ 120 bill. Not sure I’d come back– service was good, food was mediocre. I Am huge fan of tapas and this would not be one of my fav places to eat. It was completely empty on a Friday night. My gut is this place won’t last much longer if it doesn’t continue to improve its flavors/menu.

We were 3 grown ups and 5 kids, and the service was great and food just perfect for our group. Sliders for the kids and tapas for us, and an excellent house red — Cabernet. Atmosphere was nice too! Can recommend for families!

Tapas for two on a weekend evening is a delightful and delicious experience and Zambra. My friend and I arrived at about 5pm on a Saturday, were seated immediately, given friendly and attentive service by the waitstaff, treated to mouthwatering small plates(Bocadillo, filet mignon empanadas, and Tortilla Espana), and refreshed by the Sangria. The price for all of this was under $ 25 per person. A steal, in my humble opinion. I’d been here once before a few years ago on a Thursday night and enjoyed some live music. I plan to go back once I can find out when or if that is a weekly thing. The website hasn’t been updated to include that information yet. Seems like a great place to go on a date or with a group of friends for a special yet semi-casual occasion!

I love stumbling across random spots! Came here on a whim w my fiancé looking for a place to eat. Ambiance: comfortable, intimate, open windows, dark Service: excellent, attentive Tapas: ordered steak empanadas, grilled dates w cheese somethings, flat bread, fancy burger sliders, and yummy, house churros(you pretty much get 2 of everything on a small plate) All in all tasty food where you can try several items and recieve good service. Only reason why I couldnt give them 5 stars is because they are on the pricey side. Runs about $ 9-$ 15 per tapa plate

Having never visited Spain, I did the next best thing. I googled espanol restaurants and dragged my large carb-soaked ass to the nearest Spanish restaurant. Truth, my friend texted me in a late afternoon stupor telling me they stocked cheap vodka. I’m there! Zambra is Spanish for Zebra. Don’t believe me? Just ask my friends. Yes my Unilocal nerds — cheap(but excellent) vodka can had for a song. But the tapas are incredible and borderline sinful. My ever-expanding hips kept the treats coming and the alcohol continued to flow. The evening just flew by. Zambra is a nice addition to my neighborhood. All us Zebras agree.

I love this place. The atmosphere and people are very nice. The paella(even vegetarian one is so good). I will keep going back.

I totally get the concept of a tapas place, but this place really doesn’t give you much bang for your buck… Went here on date night with the bf and we both agreed we wouldn’t be coming back. I guess I had higher expectations.

I cannot ever recall having Excellent service and amazing food from beginning to end in my lifetime! If you like Tapas, this a spot you must try! My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant and it was amazing from beginning to end! Did not catch name of our waiter, mostly because we were busy enjoying the food and atmosphere, but all staff members were helpful in making our experience a great one to remember! Definitely looking forward to our next dining session here! Started off with –zucchini fritters and Flatbread pizza entrées: traditional paella and skirt steak dessert: Lemon Sorbet Salted Caramel Vanilla Ice cream Churros w/spicy chocolate sauce & cinnamon sugar topping *finally someone who knows how to make a Cappuccino.

This place is extremely average at best. The service was good but the food was nothing special. I wouldn’t come back here for tapas. The meatballs were tough, the Kobe sliders were very average(I wouldn’t be surprised if the meat was bought from the frozen food aisle at a Safeway), and the white sangria was basically wine with some fruit chunks tossed in. This place really needs to step up its game if it wants to compete with the plethora of other fine restaurants in the Burlingame area.

My family and I came here on Saturday 2÷7÷15 around 12:30PM for my grandma’s birthday lunch and we definitely have a new favorite restaurant! Parking is the ONLY thing I truly dislike about Burlingame Avenue — the parking lots are almost always full every weekend and you have to make a few rounds before you find a spot or somebody leaving. Anyway, back to the food — We ordered a bunch of tapas for about a dozen people and it was the perfect amount of food. Our Order Moules Frites x3 Fried Calamari x3 Gambas Ajillo x3 Tortilla Espana x2 Tres Ceviche Patatas Bravas x3 Skirt Steak Sandwich with Garlic Fries x5 Delicious… Absolutely delicious. We were stuffed by the end of the meal! The service is also really friendly and super quick. I always appreciate a smiling face wherever I go :-)

Sat outside on nice Sunday afternoon for lunch. Maybe it was a limited menu but what we got was average. Service was good. Not in the area much so probably would try something else next time that I am in the area.

Tried and true. I work next door and can go to any on the ave, but the consistency and creativity Zambra keeps up has me returning constantly. Tapas with a ethnic flair. Their prices are perfect for a night out with the girls, family or a simple night cap after a long day at work.

I don’t know much about Spanish cuisine, but I do know what tastes good and what tastes bad; When I’m getting screwed and when I’m not. The food here tasted good to me… but, if you go out to dinner because you’re hungry, don’t stop here. Unless you’re trying out for Hank’s role in «Castaway part 2 — The Return of Wilson.» The portions are way too small for the price. Our bill was $ 127.00 and we didn’t order any alcohol. You would have to order $ 500.00 worth of their menu to feel full. A prawn dish had(4) Prawns on the plate. The plate was the size of a coffee coaster. I never saw the Chimichurri. Where is the Chimichurri? I’m no chow hound slob, but I ran 6 miles earlier in the day. I saved my appetite for this Spanish restaurant experience, and we ended up going to Taco Bell on the way home –Not kidding!

Went to Zambras after work one day for happy hour for the first time. I absolutely loved their paella but thought the calamari was overly cooked, dry and chewy. Even with the happy hour deal, my coworker and I still paid a small fortune for our meal especially for a Tuesday night. We roughly paid $ 80 for 4 drinks, 2 apps(all of which were on their happy hour menu and for dinner we had the seafood paella which was excellent. The drinks were good, and as I said the calamari appetizer was disappointing. I expected a better deal for happy hour but was worth a try. This place wouldn’t be a happy hour regular for me, but when I’m craving paella, I know where to go.
