Delicious food, didn’t have to wait long to eat. Food was light and flavorful. Waitress/host was really sweet.

starting with the bread with olive oil, so perfectly salty the crust is, it really opens your appetite the lamb kebab: perfectly cooked and tender, perfect amount of seasoning the moussaka: phenomenal!!! intense flavors, not too oily, soft but not overcooked eggplant I’m really surprised why this restaurant is not crowded all the time, between the fantastic food, great portions, good service and atmosphere, it should be

My Wife and I were in the search for something diferent but something interesting and with a twist. on our search we came across Mivan Cuisine, and I got to say we love the food is a great place and it seems that the chef is very dedicated and takes his food serious. We love the food presentation but we love the way it taste it, it was awesome. We will definitely keep coming back. Note: the bread that comes with the salad it was fresh and it had a very homemade taste,“delicious” I wonder if they make it in house?

This place is great. Very good options for food that tastes excellent and is healthy at the same time. I order take out most often here and the food is always ready in 15 – 20 minutes. A nice family run and low key place to go in Burlingame.

Went here with a couple of people since it’s our first night moving to San Francisco. I ordered the Adana kebab and it was delicious! Lamb was medium cooked and the seasoning was just right. Gave the dish flavor without it being too much. There was 9 of us and all our orders came out in a timely manner. The restaurant is small and there was only one server but she did pretty well. She wasn’t able to split our checks so just be careful if that’s what you prefer when going in groups. Our water refill took some time, but I excused it since she was moving around a lot. Overall I say to try this place out. Everyone ordered different entrees and they loved their food.

Okay option for mediterranean. Nothing too exciting about Mivan the restaurant or the food. On a weekday evening, we were the only ones in the whole place, so it was slightly awkward that we sat alone with the waiter helping and watching over our one table. Their kabob and schwarma plates are fine, but nothing to write home about. I’d recommend once in the area, but honestly there are other mediterranean places that I might try first

I absolutely loved this place. Came here while on business. Are solo. Had the lamb/beef Gyros. Fantastic! Large gyro stuffed with meat. Comes with a house salad. The dressing is perfect. Don’t forget to have the baklava! Delicious.

Def a good place to grab a quick bite but nothing to rant and rave about. the portions re generous but the food is just okay. will i go back? probably yes. is it the best food on the street? personally for me, no. worth trying out if you are looking for something moderately priced in a clean locally owned spot.

after attempting to go down the street to another Mediterranean restaurant(they were closed) we walked downtown Burlingame and ran into this lil quaint spot. Service was really good and staff was nice. E enjoyed his combo kabob. Seasoned perfectly and the rice was splendid. I ordered the chix kabob and it was super tender and really good. Would definitely recommend

Their home made bread roll is divine! I absolutely loved it. As far as the food goes, I ordered Alexander kebab and like it too. The meat was well done and wasn’t too dry. This place seems to never be busy but the food is nonetheless good and of a highest quality. They might need to update décor or advertise more to get more customers. if you a tired of Kabul Restaurant on Burlingame avenue, then try this place;)

Just stumbled upon this lovely restaurant as my travels brought me to Burlingame. Fantastic fare! I had a stuffed eggplant with a salad and rice. The eggplant was awesome an delicate. Cooked perfectly with tomatoes, onions, pine nuts and just the right spice. I loved it!! it was a Tuesday around 6 pm and I can’t figure out why the place was empty. I would definitely come back! I also had the zucchini cakes as an appetizer, which came with a side of sliced cucumber and s wonderful yogurt sauce!

This is a very nice place to go out on a date with friends or that special someone. Great portions size and excellent pricing. It’s nice to have a beer, gyro and some tasty fries for 14.00. The staff was very friendly, the service was quick and the food was delicious. The décor inside made us feel really cozy and welcomed. I recommend it for kids because the food is overall very mild and our lil ones really enjoyed it. The fries were awesome have to try them. There is plenty of parking around so you do not have to stress.

I am kinda lost here as how many stars to give Mivan. I think 3.5 stars would have been the best. Don’t get me wrong the food is good, but as a Lebanese, we have the same food but with a lot more depth of flavor. We had the cigarette Borek, one Lamb Gyro and one Falafel. The food was good, but again the lebanese strong flavors of the falafel or gyro(known as Shawarma in Lebanon) are so much better. But I guess this was more authentically turkish/greek food. The ingredients were all fresh and the meat tastes good, even though a little dry. The portions are very generous, the sandwiches are humongous and super affordable ! Comes with your choice of salad or fries. As for the desert, we had the knefe! Holly molly, different than the lebanese knefe, but as good! The melted cheese with the toasted vermecelli and the sugar syrup! That’s a real treat. Don’t miss the chance to have it.

A hidden gem in my hood. Simply the best quality food and fabulous service. It’s a mom and pop restaurant and everything here is absolutely amazingly. I love that it’s family owned and seriously if you are in Burlingame come by and try this hidden gem.

Best Turkish food ever! 5 stars all the way! The ambiance was classy and welcoming; very fitting of a family owned restaurant. I loved it from the second we walked in. We were seated immediately, by a very sweet, and attentive waitress. She took very good care of us, and made exceptional recommendations. The food was AMAZING! 100% the definition of a home cooked meal. The quality of the food, freshness of ingredients, and excellent service were remarkable. I almost cried tears of joy after my first bite.(Try the salmon with the capers, it was beyond delicious) I love love love love this place. I would definitely come back every day if I could.

This past Saturday I was craving some Mediterranean Kebab for dinner so Hubby and I headed down to Burlingame seeing as there appears to be an abundance of them along Broadway, all of which we’re still yet to try. First stop looking at Menu’s was Mivan and almost immediately we decided that this was the place to eat based on their choices on the Menu and the fact that it looked like a nice cozy family run place. While waiting for your meal to come you get a bread basket with both Lavash and regular bread( ) with an Olive oil based dip( ). The bread is very good but I wasn’t keen on the dip as it seemed to be just oil with some chopped Garlic cloves in, I think I would have preferred just having butter with it. The food came in really good time, maybe 15 minutes which we both ordered the Combination Kebab( ) It comes with Lamb and Beef Gyros, Kofte, Lamb Shish and Chicken Shish with both Rice and Salad and a small piece of grilled Tomato and Green Pepper. The meat was absolutely delicious, soft, tender, nicely seasoned and lot’s of it. I really enjoyed the salad too which was lightly dressed. Usually when ordering Kebabs this size I end up taking half home but I enjoyed it so much I ate all of it there and then! Probably helps that I hadn’t had any lunch though. Service was good, attentive but not in your face. They seem to have a relaxed approach to service here which is a nice and given the size of the dining area works well as if by chance you do need something it’s easy to get the waiters attention. I much prefer it this way as you then get to enjoy the company you’re in a lot more without interruption every 5 minutes. As I already mentioned the seating area is small with no more than 15 tables all either seating 2 or 4 people so probably not the best place for a large party. There is a Lunch and a Dinner Menu which both contain the platter meals but the Lunch also has Sandwiches as well. * TIP * If you have a Passport Perks card you also get ”Buy one get one free” here!
