Bua Thong Kitchen

This was by far the worst Thai restaurant I have ever been to. The service was abysmal. We ordered soup which had more lemongrass stalks than anything else. I almost choked on a small sliver. We also had some type if curry that was absolutely inedible. If you like brown rice, forget about having it here. There is only white rice that us over cooked.
When we complained to the waiter that the curry was not good, he did not seem to care and top that it he told us it was bullshit that we did not like the curry. SERIOUSLY!!! That is not a way to treat a customer.
I will never go back and hope this review helps you make a better decision than I did. We went to another restaurant for dinner after this culinary disaster. Don’t eat here.

Great food. Pad Thai was the favorite along with the chicken skewers with peanut sauce.

My boyfriend and I get take out from here several times a month and it’s always delicious. I’m VERY picky about my pad Thai and this one never disappoints. Chicken satay and duck curry are also very good.
The people who work here are always friendly and the food is always ready for pick up in 15 minutes which I love! Try this place if you’re looking for tasty Thai food!

Working in the Burlingame area for over 5+ years, I feel like I’ve tried every asian place within a 5 mile radius (which is practically all of Millbrae and Burlingame). Bua Thai is probably one of the best Thai places in that area.
I usually get the lunch specials; Garlic Shrimp, Pad Prik Khing, Tom Yum, Drunken Noodles. All are very good especially the Tom Yum. I hate when the broth is too fishy like other thai places in the area make, but this place has their Tom Yum down to a science!
I wouldn’t go for the ambiance since it is very plain but my to-​go service has always been great and the man who runs the show is always friendly and helpful.

Came here during lunch time and the restaurant was pretty empty. Don’t be fooled though, the curry was very good. I just wished it was served with more of the curry sauce. I had the yellow chicken curry with rice-​good lunch deal. Server/​owner (?) was very courteous and fast at checking us out.
