There isn’t much selection here when it comes to arts supplies. Several times I’ve had to go to Swains to buy the ideal materials. Also the prices here are a bit too high. When it comes to basswood and such things they have a wide selection. However they have ran out of the spray paint I needed. They also will run out of other supplies such as cardboard, glues, etc.

For a university where half its majors are arts students, this bookstore fails as an art supply store. It carries the basic tools, but it really needs an expansion if it hasn’t done so in the past year or two. I recently visited an art store in Seattle, Utrecht, and I wish I had a place like that on campus when I was an art student at Woodbury. Of course that’s asking for too much because Utrecht is half the size of the campus, but one can dream. The store itself is really small, tight, and cramped. The bookstore at my local community college is 10 times the size of this one. Remodel? ASAP. Also, hours should be later. Way too many late-night projects that ran out of supplies last minute.
