Rudest staff, not helpful and do not respect others. They were causing an argument with a customer in the store and not listening to her, it was shocking. The man kept saying in appropriate words to the lady, she was almost in tears. I couldn’t understand how they could speak to a customer like that.
Also, everything is so over priced they try to make you feel special with discounts buy you could absolutely find these products somewhere else for cheaper

Lee’s Beauty Supply Store is a great store for all your beauty needs! Polin Beckner is an excellent sales associate; she is helpful and very knowledgeable regarding all the products and how to best use them! She is also a make-​up artist! :)

My 3rd time there and such a great help.
They have every thing I need. Definitely recommend this store to every one. I’m very happy with the manager Polin, she’s always very helpful, educated, and most importantly so nice and friendly, she’s the sweetest. This store definitely has the best service. I walk in to most beauty stores and the staff usually isn’t welcoming or willing to help. Polin goes out of her way to make sure I walk out happy and will come back. Absolutely love this girl. Great person and great business woman and best sales person. I am very happy with this store. such a happy vibe :)

I understand not overspending on stock… only to let it sit on a shelf… but, when you’re in business, that’s a risk you take.
I’ve stopped in three times over a three week+ period. for product and they have not restocked.
I usually stop in because Lee’s is local and convenient. However, it is NOT convenient to perform the same task three times. Sorry Lee… I’ll be going elsewhere.

This is my first visit here.. and I came in to get things to prep up for a film pitch. Hair color for beard was found quickly by the helpful girl. She even found one perfect for my sensitive face skin. I also picked up a nice hair thickening shampoo for half price.
I will come here again.

Yes it does say on the receipt but they still did not let me return. SInce Lee has sold this business it has totally gone downhill it is a shame because I shopped here for over 30 years. I am happy to say I found a much better place where I can trust the staff Nd get good product instead of bad product

This is my 4th time coming to this place and I gotta say I am very impressed with the quality of service I have been receiving. I don’t know if they changed the management or what did they do, but every time I have gone in I was greeted and acknowledged (which every business should do). I don’t write too many reviews but after I read the couple of bad reviews here I felt it was the right thing to do. Polin Bekner is the sales person I gave dealt with (I specifically asked for her full name so I could write her a review), she is very knowledgeable, walks around with you at the shop to show you products, explains what they are for, suggests different things… basically takes her time to do her job, and does it well! :) great shop, great customer service, great products, and best of all great prices! :)

My favorite quick stop beauty supply store in Burbank. They carry most major brands and everyone who works there knows about the products they sell. I always have customer service when I come here.

I went to write a review for the outstanding service I received at Lees Beauty Supply and could not help but notice all of the horrible reviews that this place received. I’m not sure what is going on, but I have been a customer there for 15 – 20 years and never had the experience these people have had. I cannot help but wonder if some other local business isn’t having other people write these reviews to sabotage this business. Another thing I found interesting, is that many of the reviews are from people that live quite far from Burbank. Why would they even drive here to get beauty supplies. I’m certain they have another location closer to their home. Having said all that, my experience was nothing but pleasant. The two people that helped me couldn’t have been nicer. I would at least give Lees a chance and form your own opinion.

This place is continuing to go down hill fast. The store still has the musty odor and dusty products, but now the staff is becoming rude and snooty. I guess what can you expect when the owner is screaming On the phone and rolling his eyes at the customers. At this point I will drive a little farther and purchase my supplies at Ulta Beauty.

I go there every two weeks to pick up hairdye and any other salon the employees would take advantage and shove products down my throat… not here. Great service, amazing blow dryers, and great staff I have never had a bad experience here. Love love Lee’s salon.

The owner is rude. FYI owner: shouting «we closed» from the checkout counter is a rude way to address the only customer in the store. You sound like a crazy person. Instead try: «excuse me, we are now closed.» oh and by the way, next time try posting your hours on the door!
Bottom line: pretty cheap prices but only go here if there is no other option.

I absolutely LOVE Lee’s! Has everything you need for your hair! The employees are so much fun and know A LOT! They are so helpful! I got the employee with the short black hair to help me out and she definitely knew her products! Every time she gets me a product it really works! I always walk out happy and satisfied! That’s what I like to see when I go into a beauty supply! Totally recommend this place to anyone who loves hair supplies or to anyone who just needs a little change!

IF there was Zero stars I would give them this. The first time the sales clerk was rude and more concerned with getting back to the counter to her drink. The second time both girls were so wrapped up in their conversation that their answers were short. The boss/​owner came in from the back and boy oh boy did they change… all about the service. I went again today and same thing… the two girls were more concerned in what they did over Christmas and totally ignored the two customers where in the store. I went to the counter to pay and BOTH of the clerks walked to the back room laughing and didn’t come back for a couple minutes. THe lady standing beside me has had the same experiences as I have. I WON’T RETURN TO THIS STORE.

The employees are unfriendly and unhelpful. Prices are not marked on many items and the ones that are priced are definately high. Rather than a smiling face and a warm hello, be prepared for a cold glare and no offer of help at this shop.
Burbank is a small, friendly, tight-​knit community and these people are not a good fit as shopkeepers here. The previous owners of this store were friendly, helpful and knowledgable — it is a shame they are gone.
