I dont really understand what people expect from a 24 hr laundry-washing facility. It’s pretty clean, has a little parking lot out front, tons of washers of different sizes, fast dryers and spaces to fold your clothes. Plus, this area is pretty trendy so there aren’t any: glances around: CREEPERS coming in and out. Im 24, female, and I wash and fold my laundry in peace here. And I can cram a lot of my stuff into the $ 1.50 washer, because I’m a pro at being cheap! Yay!

***UPDATE: This place has closed down. Totally gutted, and the space is for lease now.*** OK, I know this about a laundromat, and you’re probably like. seriously? But as a newbie to Burbank I appreciate the reviews like this, so I’m hoping this saves someone the trouble. Washing costs $ 1.50 per load and drying is free if you pick the right 2 machines. Otherwise it will run you .10 or .25, depending on the dryer. The dryers are crazy old, so you’ll need more than one dry cycle per load, we always do. I’ve been using this place because: 1. It’s super close to our house. 2. It’s never crowded. 3. The owners really do give you a refund if a machine eats your dough. 4. There’s a restroom. 5. The dryers are free(except for two). 6. There’s a place to plug in my laptop. However, it has a ton of issues, and they’ve finally become so overwhelming that I won’t go back. 1. As of today, there are only 2 free working dryers, and 2 pay dryers. 2. The washing machines are nas-ty. They all need a solid scrub with some bleach. 3. Idiots have been dyeing in the machines, despite them asking you not to, so most machines aren’t safe for use unless you want all your stuff tinted hot pink. 4. The broken washers(of which there are many) have gross standing water inside them. 5. It’s wicked hot in there. 6. Random strange people just sit in there. They’re not doing laundry, they’re just sitting there, being creepy. 7. There’s a working sink, but no paper towels. 8. The bathroom is painted floor to ceiling black and it’s pretty gross. CREEPY. 9. It’s filthy in there. 10. Sometimes the radio just blares garbled music. Can’t tell if it’s bad speakers or if the station isn’t quite tuned. Either way it will drive you insane and there is nothing you can do about it, because it’s behind a locked door. 11. There’s a soda machine but it’s broken. Way to torment me. 12. Oasis Nail Spa across the street frequently hogs every single working dryer(and the laundry carts) for their towels. Then they just leave them in the machines for hours after they’re done. 13. There’s never any TP in the bathroom. If you’re lucky, they put a few hand towels in there. So, yeah. I don’t expect a princess experience at a laundromat, but even I have limits. Time to try another place. Maybe the one by Baskin Robbins? Can’t go wrong if you’re by ice cream, right?
