My family has been going to Irina for years now. We followed her from her Magnolia location to her new house in North Hollywood. We trust no one else!
She is so sweet, does great work, and is so timely — not to mention her prices are VERY reasonable. She hems jeans for $ 8 – 10 and recently took in the sides of a very complicated silk romper for $ 20. She also has a great sense of style/​taste and understands any modern alteration I’m looking for. I’m very grateful to have such a reliable local tailor that I trust.

Irina quoted me $ 90 less than David’s Bridal for a formal dress alteration. She did a beautiful job and worked quickly. The dress wasn’t ready when I came for my scheduled pickup time. I didn’t mind so much because I had more items to drop off and would be coming back anyway. Just keep in mind she is a sweet but frazzled lady who may need you to call before dropping by. Great tailor, awesome pricing, ok service.

I went there to get the zipper on my training vest repaired. I was hoping it would be a 1 day turnaround for that sort of thing, but it was not and I accepted that. I was given a bunch of options for zippers, I chose 3 out of the ones she showed me.
When I returned to pick up the vest, I was surprised to see the zipper wasn’t one of the ones I chose and the end of the zipper apparently broke off, so she just added a bunch of glue to the end.
I really needed the vest the following day, so I did not make a fuss. The price was over $ 20 bucks and was definitely not worth it. I ended up taking the vest somewhere else where the zipper was actually repaired and for a more reasonable price.
