Great staff, great location, and great coffee. No drive thru at this location, so you get a more personal experience. Staff is always friendly.

I have been going to this Starbucks forever and I can’t say enough good things about the staff. They always remember me and what my «usual» is.
Although there is a slightly high level of turnover with the employees, if you take time to get to know them, they are great. I will continue to keep coming here just to see my favorite baristas!

I suppose mixups are inevitable, but everything about our order got screwed up. What started as «run in and grab a cuppa coffee» ended up as a 20 minute odyssey through the land of total confusion. Initially, our order was completely overlooked. We stood as several people who ordered after us receive their drinks. When we brought this to the attention of the barista, she apologized and got started on our drinks. Unfortunately, she made my husband’s drink iced, which he did not request (it was –10 out… who orders iced coffee when it’s –10 out?). Once we finally got everything sorted out, the drinks were very good. It didn’t seem like other people were having as much trouble as we did, so I hope it was just an isolated incident. I’m not a huge «big coffee» frequenter, but this was definitely not typical of my past Starbucks experiences.

This location recently went over extension staff changes in summer 2014. Everything from baristas to the store manager.
And it’s still one of the best locations in Buffalo. They have such knowledgable Baristas, quick service, friendly faces that make you feel like you’ve been friends for years.
They have many regulars — and they keep coming back for a reason. They really want to make this a place for you to come hangout. One women, I was told, comes in to do her mail because she likes the company. One gentleman always asks them to help with crossword puzzle, and that’s pretty awesome.
If a drink is made wrong or you have a rough experience, let them know. They want to make it right, and everyone has those days. But overall, this is the best service, and best team I’ve experienced.

So far I really like this location. Tons of parking. Plenty of seating even when busy. Large patio outside. Does get a bit noisy inside with the morning older male crowd discussing the market/​news, and the later middle aged women’s groups who feel it’s appropriate to have large group meetings in a Starbucks and then start moving chairs around. Line is typically small (3 people), baristas are friendly, and my drink of choice has always been made correctly. I have a big complaint on the lack of food options at this location. Few cheese based sandwiches (3) and that’s it, aside from the usual sugary snacks. No wonder America is pummeling towards an economic collapse, in part due to rising health care costs directly associated with obesity. Ok, I’ve derailed. Will still be back many times to come. Keep up the good work!

Unfortunately this location is going, no has gone downhill. The drinks are inconsistent. The employees park in the few front parking spots and smoke 5 feet away from the customers on the patio which has garbage throughout the flower beds and the tables are only wiped down once in a blue moon with a dirty rag and the filthy bathrooms. This is a location that I no longer visit.

I’m not really a Starbucks coffee fan (tastes burnt to me), but every so often I get a hankering for a venti iced green tea and head in…
Today my mom and I were out shopping and were parched! One time, I made the mistake of ordering a venti Refresher at like 3pm and was up all night. Though I would have loved one today, I chose just plain green tea which still has caffeine in it but far less than the Refresher.
Of course, Western NY being the small world that it is, I ran into Patrick from Unilocal,but wasn’t sure it was him because of the sweet beard he’s grown! Anyway, he spelled my name correctly on my cup, the ladies at the helm made me a delicious green tea, and I walked away content.
I’ve always liked this Bux. It’s the location where I had my first Peppermint Hot Chocolate, probably a decade or more ago, and it changed my life. Hahaha!
Now the weather needs to cool down so I can get myself a Pumpkin Spice Latte. And I would also like to try the Chocolate Chai Iced Latte. Mmmmm!

Starbucks is Starbucks. Take it for what it’s worth. However depending on the time of day (after the morning rush) you can certainly expect a better cup of coffee or whatever warm/​flavored beverage you’d like to try. I still prefer the house blend myself.

Starbucks is one of those chains where I expect consistency no matter the location. This is so not the case apparently!
Before even ordering here I used their bathroom and holy wow… either their trying to create a museum to filth and stench or they just don’t care. The bathrooms were gross!
When I went to order our drinks, the cashier was incredibly impatient and unfriendly. Even snapping at me when I asked for a receipt. I can say that the barista herself was friendly, though she got our drinks wrong and we had to go back in to have them remade.
I suppose next time I’m in this area, I’ll have to give the new Spot down the street a try.
