Wow awesome service! The servers here genuiinely know how to please their guests…(frankly in this country, not many do. all protocols and bs-fake-pretending-to-care). Food is great too, cant go wrong with any kind of kbbq. Service is usually the determinative factor for me, and this place is awesome.

Great place, I’ve eaten here about 4 times now. A bit pricey, but really good food. I had the pork belly. They bring you kimchi, sprouts, and rice paper with shredded lettuce. Then they bring the meat and cook it for you. Finally, they bring our rice and mix the remaining ingredients into a wonderful fried rice to polish things off! Our server, Tyan, was extra helpful and gave me some good tips about avoiding gluten(I’m gluten sensitive). Thanks for being so awesome, Ryan, you make a good place even better!

Went to this place for the first time with work people after work. It was at a pretty isolated mall. It reminded me of many similar looking korean bbq places nearby like kang ho dong baek jung, ham ji park, and agacci in LA. Not that im complaining. The big black pot looking thing where you cook your meat was unique though. I liked the juicy pork belly. I haven’t had meat like this in forever, so i totally ate like a pig, by wrapping the pork belly with rice, kimchi, and the bean sprout and stuffing it in my mouth. The company people didn’t eat too much. I was the only one indulging with beer and they noticed it too! Had spicy pork skin which they ordered because it is good for women’s skin too. It was just okay. The service was a bit slow i think. They could have brought water and napkin and vegetable even if it wasn’t requested. That would have been nice. But oh well. The fried rice on the black grill was very good. Also had spicy cool noodles for dessert. By that time, i was so full that i was in pain. I am sure it was expensive, but idk, because i didn’t pay. Other than the mediocre service, the food was very good and i enjoyed my stay here.

This spot was pretty good but wasn’t my favorite due to a couple of reasons. The pork was good and I liked how they lay out the bean sprouts and kimchi on the grill to grill with the pork bellies and when the pork belly juice goes down to where the kimchi is laid out on, it tastes amazing. However, they don’t provide the stews as service. Also they don’t have combos for people to get so this isn’t the most non-Korean friendly spot. Overall, pretty good pork belly spot but not as good as my other fav pork belly spot in Ktown :3

Came here for my second time because my friend from out of town was encouraged to try it out from her husband. The food was good just as it was the last time I came, however, the service was horrible! We were incredibly disappointed since it has such good ratings, & others have told her she should definitely check it out. First off, we understand it was a little busy, but not overpacked where there was a wait time. However, having to ask for every little thing, including a beverage and not getting it until we were almost done with our meal was bad on it’s own. I don’t even want to write about the rest, but I’ll just say I doubt I’ll be back.

Honey Pig. I always avoided this place and I hate myself for it now that I’ve become a regular here. In an unassuming strip mall next to Han Yang this spot is MONEY. I always order the fatty pork and a order of beef, sometimes brisket, sometimes flower meat ggot sal. Its so bomb here. First you ask for sliced garlic and have those grillin the whole time when they’re about done put them on top of the kimchi or bean sprouts so they dont burn, you should do this with the meat as well. You dip the garlic in the ssamjang and put it in the rice paper along with the pork belly and the green sliced onions you get. Then proceed to eat and repeat! Use both sauces they offer its very good. This is the only kbbq place I don’t ask for hot sauce. Remember this place isnt about all the side dishes and 30 different meats, this is a place you go to eat some quality kbbq. Order ggot sal and fatty pork belly and you wont be disappointed. On a side note the 1 star reviews and stuff people left here is a personal thing lol this place is one of the best and one of my favorite kbbq spots. And trust me I’ve been pretty much everywhere! Pretty much I hope my review showed you how to eat at this place like a boss

Let me first mention that they have the worst service. The workers simply do not give a umf about their customers. Not to mention my bell ringer thing on the table wasn’t working and the workers were very well aware of that. So I expected even more, extra care and attention, but nah. The complete opposite. I asked for a dish more than three times and every time they’d say«ok! I’ll get it right now», but they’d come out with nothing. They did not seem to really care that we were waiting on them to bring out our food and to cook the meat. And when I’d complain that we weren’t getting our orders, they’d come up with a bs excuse saying, «we’re super short and packed on this right now». Idk man, I don’t think I’ll ever come back. Wait no cancel that, I WILLNEVER come back again, not I think. This place suckssssss. Don’t go. Their food ain’t that great either. The meat is just whatevs and the fried rice especially is such a disappointment. It’s horrible. You can get better Korean bbq at other places. Bye bye honey pig forever~

If it’s not all you can eat kbbq I expect to have better service and better quality of meat than ayce kbbq but this location let me down on both parts. I’ve been to one in LA and also Rowland Heights location but those are way better than this location. I came to this restaurant sunday night with 3 other guys. We were seated fairly quickly but the servers didn’t explain anything about the menu or anything. We ordered short-rib and pork belly. I had way better quality of short-rib at kanghodong baekjeong and the quality of meat is almost same as ayce kbbq if not less. And I cooked everything on our table and none of the servers actually came by to check on us and we had to ask the servers many time to get us anything we need. Maybe I’m expecting too much but i feel like we deserve better than what we have experienced.

Where have I been?!? I love kbbq but this was my first time here and also was my first experience having kbbq this way. Ending the meal with kimchi fired rice was the highlight of the night. This place is not all you can eat kbbq but I take the quality over quantity anytime. You have to get minimum 2 orders of servings. We got the pork belly and the short beef prime rib. They both were fresh and taste delicious. Pork belly is my favorite and with soju = heaven! By far this is my favorite kbbq place.

COOKINGON A LID **Yelp 100CA Challenge 2016 #1** The«grill» that we cook our meat on looks like the lid of an olden day rice cooker! i will have to say that part is pretty kool. They have everything laid out before you sit down w/the bean sprout & the kimchi already on the grill to slowly cook. The menu is pretty simple, but i will have to say i may have been a little disappointed as this place is known for PORK but they didn’t have PORKJOWEL meat, which is the only part of the pork that i will eat ever since i discovered it. We ordered the BLACKPORKBELLY&RIBEYE which was enough meat for the 3 of us. The service was decent, as there is a bell that you could press whenever you want someone to come to the table.(BEST thing about korean restaraunts). One thing that was worrisome was the fact that we went outside to get some air… we were not done w/our food… but when we walk back in they cleared EVERYTHING… ummm we didn’t even pay our bill… so how do you clear everything… that’s kinda when our meal was ruined.

I’ve never ate this kind of kbbq before, but from my first experience, I have to say this restaurant is legit. What I found interesting is the short list of items on the menu. You would order each place separately. At first I was bummed out that this is not an AYCE, but the at he end I realize it’s about the quality and not the quantity. What I liked was the flavors of both pork belly and pork skin. Delicious!!! While you cook all the meats, the fats melts onto the beansprouts and kim chee further enhancing the flavors of those vegetables which later gets incorporated into the fried rice. We had a blast drinking the Kloud beer with Soju and the free tea and coffee from the front sets this place up another levrl. I will definitely be back with my friends and family.

BLUF: Decent Korean pork BBQ spot for a quick lunch. My family and I stopped here for a lunch stop at the end of a road trip from Nor Cal to Anaheim. We entered Wako Honey Pig around 2:30PM and was seated quickly as the restaurant was empty. Compared to the traditional Korean side dishes placed out by most restaurants, Wako places just Kimchee and bean sprouts onto the grill to make into fried rice at the end of the meal(more to follow on that). The meat selection was somewhat limited but good. We had the pork belly and the sam gyup sal which were both great. The pork belly is a specialty for this place as it is fresh and never frozen. At the end of the meal, the server came and mixed the leftover kimichee, meat, and sprouts on the grill with rice to make fried rice. It was a nice touch to the end of the meal. While this won’t be my go to kbbq place but I won’t oppose it because the food was good and had a unique finish with the ‘leftover’ fried rice.

I honestly love this place my favorite Korean Bbq place to go to. I personally love pork so for people who like pork this is the place to come. They put kimchi and vegetables on the grill. After you finish your meat they make fried rice for you as well!

Knowing that I’m a pork belly fan, my boyfriend wanted to impress me and took me to this restaurant. The quality of the meat here is pretty amazing. We got two different plates of pork belly one has a little more fat than the other but they were both amazingly delicious. It goes perfectly with the rice paper, green onion salad, and the sesame oil mhmm. We were eating and drinking soju at the same time and I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the start of the weekend! The fried rice at the end that everyone talks about was only a so-so to me and definitely not the highlight of my experience. But all in all, great food and will definitely come back and try more!

Our first time here & we didn’t know what to order, so our awesome server Ryan helped us out & recommended Special Pork belly which was the best I’ve had! & Chum churum soju. Nice and mild no chaser needed. We had 2 bottles! & plenty of beers. Some comp’d of course! fried rice in the end was A1! We asked Ryan to serve it earlier & he did so w/o question! We came around 4−5pm on a Friday. Best service!

I don’t know why I’ve never been here until now. I came here for lunch on Saturday with my boyfriend. The restaurant was empty and we were sat right away. The waiters put generous portions of bean sprouts and kimchi on our grill before we sat down and started grilling it. I like how they prepared our table with the salad, spicy sauce, sesame oil, salt and bean paste. The downside — they don’t provide you with a selection of banchan like other Korean restaurants do. You really just rely on the kimchi and the bean sprouts as your sides. The meat selection was good despite being somewhat bland. We had brisket and the special sam gyup sal. The quality was good and after the meal, the servers mix whatever food you have left on the grill and make kimchi fried rice out of it. For not being an AYCE place, I still got full from all the extra bean sprout and kimchi they provide along with the fried rice and meat. This isn’t my go-to kbbq restaurant but I don’t oppose this place because the food was good, it was a different experience and I felt the servers were really attentive and nice.

I came on a Saturday afternoon about 30 – 45 minutes after it had opened and it was empty. It felt kind of nice to have lunch in a quiet restaurant! This restaurant is not AYCE and has a two order minimum. We ordered the Sliced Beef Tongue, Special Pork Belly, and the grill comes covered with kimchi and bean sprouts. For the most part, the meats were good but the kimchi fried rice at the end was a bit disappointing for how good other people reviewed it to be. It was too bland for our taste.

Food was amazing. Love the freshness and texture of the kimchi and sprouts, especially as they cook throughout the meal. The fried rice at the end was amazeballs. Our server was fantastic as he gave us a little history on this type of grill and also he was just very pleasant.

This is the first time I’ve been to a Korean BBQ joint that was NOTAYCE and it was not too shabby. Upon entrance, my friends and I were greeted and seated. Menus were checked out since you pay for what you order vs. ordering all the good meats you want to stuff your face with like at AYCE places. They have tables set up where the grill is at the circular center that looks like a big ass car audio speaker grill and the servers/waiters are the ones that do all the cooking for you. Bean sprouts and cut up kimchi were cooking on the grill to start along with the ordered meats right after. The green onion salad gives a refreshing flavor to the meats and don’t forget to ask for rice paper. I absolutely LOVE rice paper. I also enjoy the ambiance here since it feels kinda small and intimate and there’s open space down the aisle of the restaurant. Surprisingly, it was a busy restaurant but luckily we beat the dinner rush and didn’t wait no more than 5 minutes. We had a pitcher of beer to share while we were devouring our brisket and for the amount we ate and paid for, it was well worth it. I think I’m just so used to eating at AYCEBBQ places and cooking it ourselves that it’s fairly new to me to appreciate but I love Korean BBQ so I would recommend it if you wanna eat but not feeling AYCE lol Also, they do the bibimbap when you’re done eating meat so they mix up the left over bean sprouts, kimchi, rice and some cooked meats into amazing leftovers for a hungover morning :)
