Big Ragu’s Pizza

As soon as I came in he greeted us.
Super nice guy. The pizza’s very hearty so be careful you think about getting those extra sizes. There was two of us and we couldn’t finish a large pizza. So you definitely get great value and portions.

My family and I tried them last week for the first time and it definitely hit the spot. I was greeted with a friendly team whom helped me out with all my questions. I’m a huge supporter of small businesses so I wanted to test them out for our weekly Pizza night. One week later, I ordered again. They have a great 2 for 1 special. Freshly made and not at all frugal with their cheese nor toppings.

I needed a quick bit to eat so I can get back to work. I stopped here to get a pizza. I ordered a medium pie with four toppings and extra cheese. For the size and number of toppings I got here, I would have paid over $ 20 at a franchise restaurant! I didn’t wait long for my pizza. It was probably done in less that ten minutes! I couldn’t believe how fast it was. The pizza was delicious. The staff was friendly and the store was clean. I recommend this place if you want a good tasting pizza hat doesn’t tast like a franchise. I will defiantly come back here again! Thanks guys!!!

This place is LITERALLY around the corner from our house so we don’t care that they don’t deliver all the time. Our order is always ready in 20 minutes or less. It’s always correct and tastes awesome! We don’t order pizza from anywhere else. Their ranch is also really tasty!

Decided to go to this place because I was in a hurry to just get home I didn’t want to drive any more so I figure it would be like lilo cescars pizza wrong… N e hoo I ordered two pepperoni pizzas and a two liter coke omg really! $ 22. N change so I did my calculations and outside sign says $ 5.99 chease pizza so n e ways me thinking the pepperoni are maybe $ 1 he’ll no they charged me about $ 6 just for the toppings so basically I bought another pizza. I was very upset and the pizza tasted like a dam frozen pizza the sauce tasted like a dam caned sauce blah and it’s funny as I was about to leave this guy that worked in this place had arrived with a big can sauce lol. never ever again will I ever come here again. I’ll stick to lilo cescars and if I ever want to pay $ 22.00 plus I’ll just go to papa Johns. I’ll just do the driven and be satisfied. You know what else I’m reading all this ratings and it seems like the owner just doesn’t give a dam sad person. he should care… n e ways good luck to the other people…

Great service best pizza in town. I just moved here and this pizza place has always been very welcoming.

Visiting the area and wanted pizza for dinner so I Unilocal’d and chose this place based on the reviews. The service was good; the wings were tasty but I was not impressed with the pizza. It needed a little more sauce and the pizza dough was too doughy. I will say it is a step above Pizza Hut and they are reasonable in price.

The first time I ordered a personal size pizza and it was awesome the cheese was delicious ! Even though the lady at the registered had a bad awkward attitude I let it go because the pizza was really good. I went back again and the pizza was horrible cold and dry! I went back a third time since it was a different lady I thought she might of been new. It was awful again! So I haven’t been back since! They lack customer service! The reason I gave them three stars is for the first pizza I tried !

it’s pretty decent pizza for the prize and my daughter really like the wings. the only thing is that the pizza was a bit greesey but not too bad and make sure you specify what you want on your veggie pizza i was surprised to see Pineapples on there. overall pretty good.

Love the baked hotwings! Comes with ranch and extra wing sauce on the side.

I live in the same neighborhood as this place. It’s delicious, close-​by, and super convenient!
The whole family is really nice. The crust is always good and chewy! Their prices are great!!!
They’re also not stingy on the toppings… which I love! I ordered «The Works» and every part of the pizza was filled!!!

One of my favorite pizza places. Their pizza is so fresh, and healthy. I just love it. Can’t go wrong with Big Ragu’s.

This place was not good, the chees was dried dodnt even stretch when you picked up a slice. It was dried and I was on time picking up my pizza. The wings now were not bad they were actually good. Bit as far as good pizza no bueno…

Decent pizza, decent, not good, and certainly not great. Problem I have is the terrible service. Person who took my order looked at me and spoke to me as if I had no business talking to her. Lunch special is priced fairly. So i just edited my review after finishing my food and gotta say, that crust is chewer than an Abba-​Zabba!

They say they do delivery but when I called to make an order they told me they don’t deliver guess they won’t be getting my business.

Good stuff nice small family mom & pop pizza store mostly for takeout since they have chairs but no tables. The have a couple lunch specials for $ 5.55

I wanted to find a GOOD mom & pop pizza place around the area I live and decided to give Bag Ragu’s a shot. I ordered by phone and ordered 6 pizzas for some friends coming over to watch the Dodger Game. I went to pick up and the pizzas appeared to be hot and fresh. We ordered 2 pepperoni and jalapeño, 1 cheese, 2 pepperoni, and 1 Hawaiian.
We dove into the Hawaiian first and realized that the pizza was not properly sliced. The pizza was stuck together in the middle. After retrieving a knife and cutting the slices again, while pulling the slices apart, all of the cheese and toppings just slid off. No bueno. Although we had a slight wardrobe malfunction, it was somewhat tasty.
We moved on to the pepperoni and jalapenos and it was nothing to rave about. All the other pizzas were just ok. Something about the crust was lacking. It just didn’t taste good. It tasted like I was chewing on cardboard. Although the crust was lacking, the cheese that Big Ragu’s used was superb. It was stretchy, stringy, and delicious!
So Big Ragu’s got 2 things right and a lot of mediocrity. 1) the cheese and 2) their prices. Their prices are decent and on the cheaper side, but I’d rather order my next pizzas from dominoes. Sorry guys, you’ve gotta step up your game.

Love their new dough! It’s soft, with a little chewiness, just the way I like! If you haven’t tried the pesto sauce on their pizza, it’s a must try!

Ordered pizzas for a UFC fight night. One buddy stated all too accurately, «that a Mama Celeste pizza would have been better.»
You want to root for a Mom and Pop pizza spot, but this joint makes it hard. Pizza wise, it looked and tasted like the by product of the least minimal effort to make a pizza. People (myself included) were legitimately disappointed.
On the positive side, the calzone we ordered was good.
I would like to recommend this spot because the girl at the counter was friendly and you know they work for their living. The product just isn’t up to snuff.
