Great fun tonight. First time here and we had fantastic service. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Management checked in on us several times to make sure we were having a good time. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food and good service!

Fun place to go with your olé high school and college pals. The food is satisfying, the beer choices are numerous, and the service is impeccable and downright flirty! They even have a beach volleyball court and playhouse out in the backyard! Super cool!

Foods pretty good. Service could be a little better… but not that bad, just seemed a tad slow, or it could have been the fact that I was starving and impatient… It is a loud rock atmosphere band would be a good place to hang. btw, is this a HardRock or Planet Hollywood rehash? It’s seems a stretch to consider this a family restaurant, with it being so loud. But overall not a bad place. It is definitely a place to consider for bar and grill food…

Great spot to eat, drink, and hangout. Great service from the waiters and waitresses. Very chill environment, classic rock themed. I like to come here for Happy Hour with my girlfriend. $ 6 pizza(whole) and $ 6 for 3 tacos is what we usually order. That and 2 – 4 drinks all for around ~$ 30. It’s great! Stay local and give this place a try.

Rock n Brews is a new restaurant concept to arrive in the Buena Park area near Knott’s and the other tourist attractions. It’s located on Beach Blvd., north of Knott’s on the west side, you can’t miss it! A good way to describe this place is it’s like Planet Hollywood but with music instead of movies. Ok, so I just realized someone might read this and will not know what Planet Hollywood was, so let’s get into details :) As you walk up you can tell that this place is a homage to music, mainly classic rock, 80’s and some 90’s music. And as you walk in, you can see the various items that relate to music, this is almost like a museum with a restaurant! LOUD music with video screens everywhere, the volume is very close to annoying, so don’t come here if you are meeting someone for business, to have a deep conversation, or if you are just sensitive to loud music. The food is as about average as it gets, and it’s important to set that expectation fast – part of coming here is to enjoy the atmosphere. We ordered a pretzel, tri tip tacos, and a hamburger, and kids meals for the minions, nothing stood out, it was good for the prices. What also impressed me was the service– Blake was just an awesome, seasoned server who actually got our appetizers at the HH price 15 minutes after it closed. When I go back, I will ask for him specifically. Again, if you are into music like this DJ/Musician is, then go check out Rock n Brews — - just don’t go in there expecting 10 star food, and you will have a great time!!! 49⁄2016

I’ve been wanted to try this place for awhile. The décor was very cool. I love the vibe. A bit commercial but still cool. If your gonna call your establishment Rock & Brews you better have a rockin joint and sick beers. We weren’t to stoked about the food but it’s the kinda place where you want to throw a few back and enjoy the music and bar/patio scene. All in all a cool place to sit back and relax. I’m looking forward to Rock & Brews opening in Corona this summer!

There was nothing bad to say about this place. I had reservations for 4 at 6pm. My whole party except me decided to be 45 min late. They were very accommodating and didn’t give my table up. Then 2 of the guests finally show up with a surprise extra person. They moved us from a booth to a big table in the back and never gave us a hard time. Annie was our server. Top Notch! Deserves a raise. Food was great.(very small portion on the steak) drinks were FAST and selection was amazing. The outside Cornhole pit was fun. Atmosphere and music was awesome. A must for a drink, craft beer and a burger.

I’m probably the target audience… I grew up in Seattle and Kiss live was my first record I ever owned. I asked for it for Christmas and got it! Good times, bad times… On the up stroke, Linda’s veggie burger was fantastic, I had a bite and it kikked ass on my tri-tip sandwich(more later). The bartender has a lot of pizzaz and I was watching from a table, so I asked for a cocktail of her choice… it was a brave move that payed off. What I got was«Liquid Marijauana» a turquoise blend of tropical liquors that was completely delicious. On the downstroke, when I ordered a second of the same cocktail it was too sweet to drink, obviously substitute of inferior ingredients, or just poorly proportioned. Don’t order the tri-tip sandwich… French roll was old bordering on stale and the meat was too gristle chewey to eat. Service was friendly, but not at all interested in my negative observations about stale bread. Was nice when close but gone for loooong periods. I might come back for the beer French fries and atmosphere…

I recently had lunch here & I have nothing but good things to say. It was my first time at the Buena Park location & I know the Torrance R&B well, so I had high expectations. I ordered a salad and beer, a red ale that the waitress recommended. The salad was disappointing, only because I realized I had the appetite for a burger, but was still tasty. Beer was even better! Service was great and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The best part of Rock and Brews is there is always something fun to catch your attention. Besides the games on TV, there is all the Rock and roll memorabilia which I really enjoy about the place. I will definitely be back!

My review will strictly be on what I ordered: Asian Wings– Love the flavor on these. They have more of a fish-sauce/spicy flare to them and I love the crispiness of these. Thankfully they don’t have a think and heavy dredge on them, but instead the coating is super light, almost like they did a light dusting of cornstarch before deep-frying. The wings are a nice size and filling. Nachos with Chicken– This is literally an entrée in itself for one person, easily. I like the tortilla chips they use because they aren’t too thick, but aren’t too thin either. They hold up pretty well when you’re trying to scoop up all the goodness on the plate. I wish there was more cheese sauce on the nachos though! Garlic Fries– If you don’t give a f*** about your breath kickin’ after your meal then by all means, FINISHTHEWHOLETHING. If you LOVE garlic, and I mean LOVE, get these. Margherita Pizza– YES! The tomatoes on here were a bit sweet, which I thought was a nice touch. The dough on this pizza is heavenly and has a really nice chew to it. They definitely don’t skimp on the cheese. Would I order this again? YES. OVERALL: I love the atmosphere here. It is very relaxed yet fun. A great place to bring the family or a group of friends. I experienced 2 large parties here once, one of 20 people and another of at least 35. Both times, this place was extremely accommodating and very attentive. LOVELOVELOVE the beer selection! Like I always say, YOUWON’T KNOWUNLESSYOUTRYITFORYOURSELF!

Impromptu stop here on Saturday around 4 pm. It was crowded but there was no wait for 2. A ton of staff working so service time was good. Started with the garlic fries. Our first batch were soggy and lacking enough garlic. We sent that back and the second order was fresh, crispy and the perfect amount of garlic and Parmesan cheese. That is pretty much the best thing I can say about this place. The morbid looking staff looked like they were all ready to quit except for the one who brought out the food. The uniforms are not consistent where most people wore the chain’s shirts but one other had on a random shirt. Now let me say I’m not one to point out the flaws in others because no one is perfect but something really needs to be said for the servers wearing short skirts over very unattractive legs. The last thing I want to see while eating below average food is a bunch of cellulite. I had the Hawaiian street tacos which were supposed to be ahi poke and avocado. For those of you with children who watch Fairly Odd Parents, the ahi was a dull gray color like in the episode where Timmy wishes everyone to be the same so they are all gray blobs. Yuck! The server came by and asked if I liked it to which I answered no. She promptly took the plate away but it might be better customer service to ask why and offer another option. I was done at that point so I didn’t bother to ask. My boyfriend had the blue cheese burger. The burger was decent but the bun was way too thin for such a thick greasy burger. We took a pizza to go and the next morning it looked and felt like a piece of cardboard. The pricing is typical of a chain restaurant near a theme park but I don’t think I’ll be going back to spend $ 40/person on neglected food. One star for the second requested garlic fries and another for the quick service(although it would be nice if the staff could pretend not to hate their jobs).

I stopped by around 9 pm after having dinner with my party, just to get a sip of beer and watch some playoff basketball. The weather in CA is nice, so I choose to stay outdoor. Picked Rebidium IPA, 7.7%, which has good taste, finished with two in th Rock music and watching games. The staff is friendly and check timely. I would return next time just to enjoy some food with more beer!

I’ve been to the rock n brews in el Segundo and have always had a great experience so the fact that there was one in Buena Park we just had to give it a try. We came to this one for lunch on a Saturday. There were people but not crowded so we got seated right away. We looked over the menu and placed our order. Onion rings — as an appetizer we ordered the onion rings. They come with a side of ranch and BBQ sauce. The onion rings had a little to much batter for my licking. Onion to batter ration could have been a little better but not a deal breaker. Tri tip sandwich — I was actually disappointed. Ordered the tri tip medium rare and it did not seem that way. The meat was also tuff and so was the bread. I expected it to be a nice, tasty and very tender tri tip sandwich but it was not. I would definitely not order that again. Cobb salad — my wife really enjoyed the Cobb salad. The only thing that was wrong is that they gave her the wrong dressing. She asked the server who brought the salad out for the correct dressing and he never came back out. My wife had to go up to some servers that were standing at the bar for the dressing she wanted. They brought it out right away and she was then able to enjoy her food. She liked the salad and would get it again. The environment is really cool if you like Rock music. Me might try this one again in the future if we don’t feel like driving to el Segundo.

Went for the first time and was in awe of the décor, they have so many awesome band flags, and posters. Very relaxed atmosphere the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Just a great vibe over all. Definitely recommend if you love rock. The food is great as well! Tried the Asian sweet and spicy wings, the ribs, and the purple rain drops in honor of Prince! Loved everything I tried. Portions are average nothing too big or too small. Perfect size. Great range of brews. They also have outdoor activities. Such a cool place not just because of the food but the overall experience. We also went around 12:30 am so it wasn’t that packed at all!

I guess the customer is NOT always right. The food is great here. The prices are very reasonable. I have been to this location many times and have for the most part had a good experience. Another plus about this location is that they actually have a happy hour menu as apposed to other Rock & Brews locations. Our server is great. Very attentive. Our glasses are always full, which is very important to me and she has been polite to us the entire time. My issue is not with her. Here is my problem. The TVs. We asked if we could have the big screen turned to the LA Kings game in an hour when it starts. We were turned down. The reason: «people follow lots of teams». Yes I agree. However NONE of the other teams playing today are in the playoffs. My family is extremely passionate when it comes to sports. We came here to specifically to watch the game. We have been to other Rock & Brews locations and they have always been very accommodating, especially when it come to things like the TV. Do Not come here if you plan on a sports fan friendly atmosphere. We are currently watching the Dodgers game a little screen without any game audio. I’m sure this will be the same situation for the Kings game. Very disappointed. I feel bad that we invited our friends here specifically to watch this game. UPDATE: Wow! Apparently the manager is giving our server the run-around saying he is «too busy» Michael Torres is his name if anyone is interested. And by the way my sincerest apologies go out to our server Toni V. She was amazing til the very end. We will be heading around the corner to Buffalo Wild Wings where I know we will get great service and we will be able to watch our Kings.

Just across the parking lot from The Bodies and Titanic exhibits, and well-rated, this seemed like the place to stop for lunch. I ordered the Beer Battered Fish Tacos off their lunch menu; I love fried fish tacos, but wasn’t a fan of the marriage of flavors here — perhaps it was the marinated red onions that I found overpowering. Although not much of a view(of the parking lot and street), it was nice sitting outside on their little outdoor patio, up front. The interior is loud(in design and music) and fun! Impressively pleasant and attentive staff. I’ll have to return for Happy Hour some time, and try those Garlic Fries that many rave about.

Great place for whole family! 4 adults with 3 kids, we all had so much fun for Saturday lunch. Great interior reminded me of German Bier Haus. Music video playing oldies, like Muse, Elvis etc, was good. Service was very friendly. Food and beer, all good. The playground with the sliding glass door was perfect tor the kids.

Unilocal challenge 2016. 49⁄116 Finally a late night place in West Orange County worth going to. Super rad videos and tunes blaring all night, taking me back to the day. How cool is that? And its open till 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. Super kid friendly. In fact, when I was there around midnight, lots of parents had their kids in tow. That’s if you don’t mind exposing them to super loud tunes, old school videos, flat screens with sports, and alcohol flowing amongst almost everyone. Seriously though my parents exposed me to that, back in the day and I’m just fine. If your dogs are your kids they have you covered to. Dog friendly patio. My pooch, was home though asleep on the couch. My eyes were in color overload. Every inch of the ceiling and walls were tagged with Rock Posters, records, TVs, ect. If your into the 70s, 80s Classic Rock and Big Hair bands you definitely will appreciate this place. Food here is decent. I am sure you will find something tastey. We went with burgers and fries. Not the best burger, but it was a good burger. I added garlic Aoli instead of Thousand Island. It made a huge difference. Sandwiches, pizza, ect, they have it. This place is pretty cool. Plenty of room for big groups. I say, just go. At least for some music. #869

Love love loveee the Vibe here. It’s loud, it’s fun and has sooo much going on. Great place to come and hang out with a big group of friends or just for a date night. This is a Rock persons dream. They have all different bands plastered all over the walls and ceilings and overall it’s just a cool spot to be at. They also have a nice big bar area and tons of beer. Our server Blake was super helpful, super sweet and very down to earth. He was definitely personable and offered some great suggestions. I ended up getting the tropical chicken lettuce wraps, they were good however I had better and it was a little to sweet for my taste buds the strawberry and mango slices were a bit much. I liked the savory/spicy part of the chicken but the fruit was too much for me. My Husband got the blackened salmon salad he enjoyed it however the salad was just regular salad nothing too special about it. We will try other things next time. For Dessert we ended up getting the Purple Rain Donuts OMG these are an absolute must if you come here, they are sooo good, they are donuts filled with chocolate with a drizzle of raspberry sauce and whip crème on the side. Minus the raspberry sauce it was delicious. I definitely recommend you get this and share with your friends/date because it’s a pretty big dessert to eat on your own. I definitely would come back and try their appetizers and some other entrees. Definitely a great addition to the Buena Park area.

Relatively new restaurant/sports bar that opened up in Buena Park with lots of TV’s, a good amount of seating and a outdoor seating area as well The place is HUGE so it’s perfect since its never too crowded when your favorite game is on —Anejo sour: good but didn’t really feel the alcohol —strawberry fields salad with added chicken: the salad was good but the chicken was pretty dry —spicy wings: DRY and they only gave us drumsticks, no wings! —garlic Parmesan fries: some fries were a big soggy —half margheritaville half r&b special: I appreciate them allowing us to order half and half so we could accommodate everyone! The pizza was tasty, I liked the cheese flavored crust but I wish the crust was crispier food is nothing special, maybe it would be a better spot to go just for happy hour since they have an early and late night happy hour that starts again at 10 pm
