Let’s make this quick:
–Regular unleaded, cash or credit, $ 2.54.9/gal. on Thanksgiving week.
–About one block east on the 246 exit off Hwy 101, plotted in front of Albertsons and CVS in a utilitarian Buellton shopping center (but watch out for the one under construction across the street).
–Long wooden handles on window scrubber/​squeegees featuring pliable rubber that leaves a streak-​free swath. Paper towels, too.
ARCO is known for advertising «straight up gas.» Tom’s is a straight-​up service station.

Best and least expensive place to get gas. Never have to wait for a pump and quick in-​out mart experience.
Could use fresh water and cleaner to wash windows with, but at least there is water, unlike some stations.

Conveniently located on route 246 just off the 101 highway near an albertsons. One of the cheaper gas stations in buellton. 2 minutes from pea soup andersens.

Clearest bathrooms in a gas station I have ever seen. Very pleasant employee, made the stop ever enjoyable on Sunday ³⁄₈ @ 9:15 PM. Will make an effort to stop in every time we come through the city.

Filleed up our Rav4 for $ 2.87 per gallon & with fast pumps, we were out of there in no time. We did not go in the convienence store, so cannot rate that, but definitely right on the money. I feel so sorry for the previous Ydlper who could not fill up her truck entirely without having to go inside; what a kink that needs working out. Like the other previous Unilocaler said, there is a CVS & Albertson’s across the street which we went to to stock up for our stay in Solvang all last week. Of course, there are a lot of fast food & sit down restaurants in the area if you are driving to & from San Francisco like we were.

Cheap gas! Great spot to fill up and pick up snacks before/​after trip to Solvang, SB or on way back to LA. Has an Albertsons and a CVS right by it (our usual stops).
There are also junk food spots right next door. All easy to walk to while your driver gets gas LOL.

Only downside — the gas stops pumping when you hit $ 50! Say what?! When you have a huge Chevy truck that usually takes about $ 75 to fill up, this is insane. After the pump stopped at $ 50, it won’t let you swipe your card again to fill up the rest of the tank. You physically have to go inside the mini mart and talk to the cashier to have them authorize the rest of the fill up. It’s not a huge deal, but it’s more inconvenient than anything. The cashier claims this is standard at most gas stations. If it’s standard, than most gas stations don’t follow this policy since this is the first time I’ve come across this.
But, overall, decent gas station. Next time you’re in Solvang, come here. It’s cheaper than the pumps in town!

Wasn’t as cheap as the Arco, but no fee for using a card.
