The pies here are the best pies around! Their lunch specials are fairly decent too… I love the broccoli cheese soup and chicken salad. No meal is complete without a slice of pie, though. Mm!

We drove out of our way to enjoy their dessert after dinner. Upon arrival, 7:15p, the doors were locked up– CLOSED. I double checked the website for accuracy and then also noted the store hours that were written on the door. 8p!!! Such a disappointment Will not recommend to others.

This adorable, local delicatessen feels like going to Grandma’s home to grab a sandwich. The service is fast and friendly, and the food is reasonably priced and delicious. My favorite menu item is the chicken salad! It’s incredible. And you can order it in a stuffed avocado. Yes, it’s as fast as it sounds. I’ve also had a few of their salads and they are perfectly sized, light, and tasty. They also have coffee and a few varieties of tea. And have I mentioned the desserts?! If you go, try a slice of pie. It’s worth the calories and a slice of good old country homemade heaven. I usually go in for lunch between classes and bring my notes to study. It’s quiet and relaxing! However, I also had them bring lunch to A&M’s campus for a meeting. They typically don’t deliver, but agreed to do so for our group and were very accommodating.

Great desserts, but that is it. Way over priced for essentially a sandwich that probably cost 50 cents to make. Go for the desserts and forget the sandwich.

When going«home» to visit family in B/CS I always try to go back to Must Be Heaven and get some Broccoli Cheese Soup and a piece of pie! Miss this place!

Came in on a Saturday right before lunch, just to check it out. There was no one inside except for the workers :(Kinda dead for a weekend. They had a good selection of pies available: peach pecan, chess, coconut chess, apple, sweet potato, and some others I forgot. I got a slice of the peach pecan to-go($ 2.95) Came in a cute plastic container shaped for triangular cuts like pie! The pie had a crumble top, some chopped pecans, yellow peaches in a sweet filling and pie crust on the bottom. Was very tasty and stayed together pretty well after stabbing it with the fork. The pie crust was not too sweet or buttery, more salty and slightly like a thick semisweet cracker, but was good. Good because it provides some contrast to the sweet pie filling. I like the pie and I would like to return for lunch when it seems more lively. As for now, the place seems too dead for my liking and I have yet to try the actual food. I would like to try the quiche and chicken salad sandwiches, because they sound good online, but reading the last review makes me feel wary…

Came here once for a first date, will never and have never returned. The food almost ruined a perfectly lovely date. I ended up watching my now girlfriend eat while I sat around awkwardly. It was awful. I ordered a sandwich with what was supposedly chicken breast. What was delivered was foamy, spongy, cold, chicken shaped matter. I’ve only been disgusted by chicken like this twice before(both at TGI Fridays, should have learned the first time with that case). I’m not sure how many times chicken has to be frozen, refrozen, maybe spoiled and respoiled to create what I was served, but I’m sure there is a bio-weapons lab somewhere that studies this. Maybe this was a random event, maybe they’ve improved since. But it was so bad you’ll never get me to step into the place again.

I absolulty love this place! Great food and just very homie for me! I am usually the youngest person there which is great! I love their quiches and their soups! Not bad prices either! The people that work there aren’t the friendlest but it doesn’t stop me from coming in and getting some good food!

Was pleased with the friendly service(the owners were there), answers to my nosy questions about the tiny local group of locations and it’s history. The sandwich was great, just wish it had been a tad bigger. Really nice selection of pies. While I only enjoy a slice of pie maybe once a year my wife tried one and loved it. I tasted it and it was lovely. So if you don’t want to feel guilty about desert at lunch time, get the soup and sandwich and then a slice of pie should have been earned. ;)

This is a great, quaint place to grab a casual bite to eat. The food is prepared quickly, they have plenty of pie for dessert, and the service is always friendly. I’m not much of a sandwich girl, but I’m a sucker for the ones they make here. You can just taste the difference with they amazing bread. I always do the Special #1 with the half sandwich, a cup of soup, and a bag of chips. I could never finish the whole thing, but for such a reasonable price, it wasn’t worth skimping on. Each of the soups I’ve had here have been phenomenal. The main problem with this place(and that goes for their other College Station location that I’ve been to) is that the lines are always long and I remember them having some strange hours. If you go during normal meal times, expect to wait in a long line to order your food.
