Service here is not very good. Parking is atrocious. Hence why I’m giving it a 3 star review. My family and I are within walking distance so we always walk here to get ice cream and usually have a decent experience when we do. However the one and only time I came through drive thru for dinner, I watched my meal sit there for 15 minutes in the window before I pounded on the drive thru window to get someone’s attention so they could hand it to me. Hence why we don’t eat here anymore. But they still have delicious ice cream cones that are great on a hot summer night.

The recent remodel is beautiful. Staff were pleasant with quick service. I ordered a Reece’s Pie Blizzard which was phenomenal!

Ice cream is fine here. Service is good. But I gotta knock this place their lunar surface they call a parking lot. They share their lot with a tow truck company and the amount of traffic through here shows. It’s like a contest to dodge the deep and dangerous holes in this lot. Fix your stupid lot! What kind of impression are you making? On top of that, it is completely dangerous to drive out of here. When you get your cone from the drive through, the street is literally five feet from the drive through window with cars screaming by on busy US136 at 35 to 45MPH! I do not come here anymore strictly because of the parking lot and ridiculous life risking move of trying to leave.

Great local Dairy Queen with character — been there since the 50s. Your normal Dairy Queen fair, but you get the added benefit of thinking of all the people that have been through these doors over so many years to enjoy this great American ice cream(now offically a «dairy dessert»). Not the nicest or cleanest place, but that is what you get at an old DQ in a small town. I will be back again, but I also live here.
