We used them because the previous owners of the house had a prepaid service check up scheduled. The call should have been free, but the tech managed to con my wife out of $ 50 for a new filter on the AC. Two days later, my AC goes out… how convenient for them. My wife calls them, since they were just there and they should know if something looked wrong with the unit at the time, they came out within the hour. Tech was nice, and seemed knowledgeable. He proceeded to find a bad capacitor, which had«melted down» in the 2 days since the last tech was there. He replaced the capacitor and charged me $ 249.79…but he was nice enough to knock off the service charge!!! I looked up what a capacitor would cost if I bought it myself… around $ 50-$ 70 for the exact part! Unreal, I know you have to pay for the service and convenience, but come on, really, almost $ 200 over? I was tricked into using them once, but never again. I have a call into the general manager to complain, we’ll see if he ever does. I will update this post if he happens to. The whole experience seemed very shady. Highly unrecommended.
