Wing Hua is a great neighborhood staple. Consistent, clean, friendly and fast. Perfect for a quick grab-and-go or fast delivery. What else can you rate a run-of-the-mill Chinese place on? Well… Rob S’s statements are completely false and I urge you to ignore them and come here. I was in the store when he threw a fit because he ordered shrimp and was expecting chicken. He tossed the food at them and got his money back, then preceded to yell that he’d have the place shut down by the health department. Uncalled for. This is a wonderful establishment. I want to protect my neighborhood businesses and I will not tolerate blasphemy. Enjoy everyone.

I have religiously watched them handle raw chicken with their hands and then handle take out containers, egg rolls, spare ribs, etc without washing. They use the same tongs to handle uncooked spareribs and on items coming out of the fryer. Stay away! I’ve made complaints to 311. I’m amazed this place is still open.

This is my go to Chinese place for quick Chinese take out food. Decently sized portions and friendly people. Their all day menu and lunch specials are a good deal too!

To be honest the food was really quite good and I’d love to give it 5 stars, but if I could give the delivery guy a negative rating I would. He was awful. He called when he arrived and insisted I come down to get the food. I told him I was disabled and needed him to come up. He refused to deliver to my apartment even though I’m only on the 2nd floor and we an elevator. Remember I’m disabled so it took me a couple minutes to get out there and he kept calling me while I was going down. I confronted him and he insisted that«nobody» delivers to my building. Actually, he’s the only delivery guy that has ever refused to deliver. His excuse was that he «would get robbed.» He was rude and unapologetic yet STILL expected a tip. Never again. The food was great, but I give you a huge caution if you are getting delivery. This was the absolute worst I have ever been treated by anyone.

This place is perfect, if you want some fast and clean Chinese Food. Its no frills but great take out. I’ve ordered from here about 25 times for pick up and have never been disappointed. Once again– It’s not gourmet but its tasty, fast and inexpensive. Enjoy!

Nice little place, standard American Chinese food. I wish the rice had more flavor, but the wings were nice and crispy.

I hate to give it such a low rating and, to be fair, all I ordered were the steamed and fried pork dumplings and the wonton soup. They were all terrible. Really not good at all. They were so thick and doughy and the soup did not taste good either. So sorry to say and maybe the other food is good.

I eat here all the time when I want something quick and simple when I’m not in the mood for sandwiches and pizza(never liked Mexican in that hood) or pretentious $$$ hipster restaurants. Food is great, consistent and the best Chinese in the neighborhood.

This place has been here forever. Ordered from here all the time and compared to some other places its second to none. The delivery can get long around rush hour(5−7pm). My favorite is the chicken broccoli, sesame chicken, fried rice. They use real chicken in their soup unlike the rubbery ones you see elsewhere

whatver you do, order 2 hours before you actualy want to eat because their delivery time is ridiculously long. i did not like how they make their orders, they need to put some american on the phone and someone who can handle the pressure and place the correct orders. other than their service, i like their food. my fav is general tso

It’s good Chinese food, priced great! The scallion pancakes are flaky and delish; so far the best I have sampled in New York(portions are small, though). I generally order General Tso’s Chicken and it is consistently tasty and good. The staff are nice.

2 hours to deliver. Wrong dish served. Thoroughly mediocre, favorless food. General tso shrimp was in a hard batter and smothered in sugary sauce. Never again.

Meh, typical Chinese take out place [Lady on the phone didn’t speak English well and wasn’t the nicest, delivery took a very long time, food was mediocre, portions were big and prices were very reasonable.]

Totally acceptable Chinese take-out. Definitely the best in Carroll Gardens. We had the«Dinner for one only» for $ 8.95. Two people were full after sharing it. We chose the Pork and String Beans in garlic sauce with white rice, and substituted an egg roll for the other fried items that come as sides. It was clean and tasty. The egg roll was fried and bad for your health, but tasty as well. I know people like their Hot n Sour soup, but we found the texture to be too thick and viscous. Too much egg! I’d try the Wonton soup next time instead. Other Chinese places in the neighborhood have made us unhappy. But, overall, we were happy with this.

To be fair, I’m rating this compared with the hundreds of other, simple corner takeaways* around NYC, not a proper sit-down Chinese eatery. It’s a place I wouldn’t go out of my way to try, but a place worth trying if you are in the area, hungry, and want a quick, cheap meal. I got one of their lunch specials, spicy garlic shrimp, and for a mere $ 5.50, was quickly made a pig portion of rice and a decent portion of fresh cooked shrimp, mushrooms, pepper, broccoli and some other veggies. While it wasn’t particularly spicy or garlic-laden(dare them to kick it up next time), it was light, fresh and probably better for me(waist-wise) than the pizza slices I had contemplated nearby. You also get a soup or drink with those combos… which if you think about it is a cheaper meal than fast food places. * this place seemed a lot more cleaner, faster and fresher than many peers.

This is my kind of place, the old school, no frills quick Chinese food joint. No bells or whistles, Wing Hua has a few tables if you want to stay but it’s really for a quick order and pickup. Got the broccoli and garlic sauce lunch special for $ 5.75, they lose a star because they only give you a can of soda OR a soup, not both. That’s getting a little skimpy but the food is just what i wanted. Fast and made to order, they even give you the option of pork or no pork in your fried rice, which some places do not do. I was there for 5 minutes and just about everyone else was ordering chicken and french fries, which is also now a staple of fast Chinese food joints in many parts of Brooklyn. Food is good, service fast, kind workers, it serves it’s puropse.
