Just tried this place for the first time and we enjoyed their pizza. I liked the garlic knots more lol. We ordered delivery and the guy told us 30 minutes and it came in 30 minutes. Pizza was nice and hot as well as the garlic knots. Delivery guy was nice too. Placing the order was great too and the guy taking the order was very polite and helpful.

Excellent pizza. I hope they never change a single thing. Don’t be fooled by appearances here– these guys are very nice and make an excellent slice the way it should be made. I’ve been walking past this joint for years and never popped in until just recently. Now I only wish I had done so years earlier. Keep up the good work and great pizza Triangolo!

While in Brooklyn for a few days on tour I had the good fortune to be just blocks from Triangolo and I ate their daily! I enjoyed the sausage slices and took boxes of the garlic knots back to the tour bus to share. Small place, great taste! Next time I’m in Brooklyn I’m going back!

That Grandma slice is not only tasty as hell, it’s also cheap, and HUGE! A really solid neighborhood joint through and through.

Trianglo pizza is a great little spot where you can grab a slice and other foods(the pepperoni rolls are pretty fantastic). The prices are super great, we were able to get a couple slices, rolls and drinks for about $ 12 and sit at a clean, well-lit table and enjoy our food. The place is older but that’s not necessarily a bad thing to me, the only downside is that it’s cash only so be prepared. Although the bodega across the street has an ATM outside so you can fix that issue pretty quick. Would definitely recommend!

Fuck yeah! Hey man, this place is great! Solid pizza delivery OR go to the store and enjoy the«Wall of Seagal.» I don’t always eat pizza, but when I do, I sometimes eat Triangolo.

Triangolo Pizza is just around the corner, and it’s a fine place to grab a slice of pizza, but there isn’t anything special that stands out about it. They are cash only too, so come prepared, or you’ll leave hungry. The guys working behind the counter weren’t super friendly and didn’t explain what anything was. After reading several Unilocal reviews, I wanted to try the Grandmother’s slice, and I had read they were rectangular, so I pointed at some pizza thinking it was that. It ended up being the Sicilian. I guess I could have asked, but the guy was kind of awkward. I also tried a chicken ranch pizza slice. Both slices were just okay, and nothing to write home about.

I’m not sure if the fact that I was super hungry had anything to do with it, but my slice was absolutely delicious. The perfect combination of sauce, cheese with a crispy bottom and just enough crust. I also tried the ziti chicken cutlet parmigiana and it was just as tasty. The portions are pretty big and can be shared. It’s definitely the best pizza/pasta I’ve had in Greenpoint.

What happened to the older pizza man that used to work there years ago? He was the best – friendly, helpful, funny, and more. Once, I was making pizza at home and bought raw dough from him. Instead of just selling dough to me he asked when I was planning on baking so he could grab a roll that that rested for enough time. So awesome. Sadly, that guy’s been replaced with an jerk. This pizza place used to be my neighborhood spot. Whenever anyone wanted pizza, I would hope to go here rather than the gourmet places that have opened nearby; however, due to bizarrely unfriendly service, I don’t think I will ever go back. I just wanted to grab a quick slice but the pizza man with grey hair immediately gave me a terrible look and basically mock me. At one point he aggressively tried to get me to smile at him. So creepy. While ordering fountain soda, my boyfriend and I took 4 seconds to look at the options before deciding. This prompted our guy to give us a hard time for holding up the invisible line forming behind us. I’ve heard very similar stories from other asian women who’ve visited – making my experience ever grosser. Honestly, if you’re looking for a standard Brooklyn pizza place, look elsewhere. This place is not worth the abuse.

Pizza was good, crunchy at the bottom, good hearty slice. The garlic knots were not great I’ve had good ones and these were not. Would come back for the pizza.

I went there in 2011 while visiting my sister, I had the Cal zone and it was AWESOME !!! So good in fact that since I couldn’t find a Cal zone nearly as good here in California, I’ve starting making my own. I can’t wait to go back to Brooklyn and have some one Cal zones at Trianglo’s. My sister and her husband will just assume we have to eat there every night, that how good it was !!! The crust was crust and tasty, and the filling was cool and delicious ! AWESOME !!!

Clean store, family run and friendly. They seemed to know quite a few of their regulars by face/order, which is great to see. The specialty options are the way to go. Well priced and decent location from the subway.

Great pizza! Awesome people who work here, too. Total neighborhood gem! The Sicilian style rectangular slices are my favorite, try the grandma style.

It pains me to say this, but Triangolo is simply not a good pizza place anymore. Fully half of the last 15 – 20 times I’ve ordered, they’ve either gotten my order wrong, or served me a soggy, bad pie. I go way back with this place, so I’ve been making excuses for them, hoping they were just in a slump or I was having a run of bad luck. Every pizza place serves a few gross pies, right? The evidence, unfortunately, has become overwhelming. They need a manager in there, the kid they ask to run the place most days is obviously in over his head. I kinda feel bad for him, seems like a nice enough guy. But when he told me tonight that I hadn’t actually ordered a sausage pizza, I’d ordered a cheese pizza, I recalled all the other times he’d said that to me recently, and knew I wouldn’t be back.

Best slice in Brooklyn! Delicious! This is a small, family run pizzeria in Greenpoint. Their pizza is delightful. You can really taste it’s made of the best ingredients. Ever since I discovered this place I find myself eating more pizza than ever!

Clean and mean pizza slice. If you don’t want to be disappointed, go here. Standard slice prizes too and plenty of specialty options! Cash only.

I was hitting a Metal show at the nearby St. Vitus Bar for the band Into Eternity and after catching up with the group for a little while on their RV, the need for something to eat took over me. I was told that the band had eaten earlier in the day so I was on my own in the quest. I asked one of their ardent fans to join me so they could all decompress a little more before the show and down Manhattan Avenue we wandered. On the corner of Green St. we spotted Triangolo Pizza and ventured inside. It sure smelled nice and that is always a good sign in a pizzeria. Their Sicilian pie looked nice as did the conventional round pie so I ordered a square corner and a slice to get an idea of how they each were. To put it simple, they were both very tasty. Adding a small drink to the mix ran me just over five bucks and my two companions also seemed to enjoy theirs. As we chatted in the seated area I mused aloud at how most of the band had never tried NYC pizza before even though some of their number had been to this part of the world a few times(they are from Canada), it was still a mystery treat to their palates. With that being the case, the plan to bring them back a pie to the RV was in motion. They were pleasantly surprised when we returned with it and three members immediately indulged and confirmed our own pleasure at the skills of the establishment. So kudos to Triangolo Pizza for not only impressing some well versed in pizza NY natives but also for making a bands visit to our neck of the woods more memorable. Give this place a shot if you happen to be in Greenpoint for Saint Vitus Bar, or perhaps a mission impossible visit to The Thing.
