Fresh Pond Physical Therapy

Dr. Dan and the staff are all so helpful! My 8 y/​o had a very bad sprain and loved going to p/​t every week. They go out of their way to get you an appt. around your schedule and answer every question. Also are always available through phone. I only have wonderful things to say about the facility.

The one star is not for the PT… he was awesome. I only had one visit and they called me the next day to cancel for that day’s appt. Told me that they were out of network for my insurance even though they had supposedly checked that out before hand and had been given a referral from my PCP.
A few days later I received a letter in the mail from my insurance company (Oxford, Liberty btw) saying they had approved 6 visits. Huh? But they told me I wasn’t even covered with them. When I called Fresh Pond and questioned it I was told that the billing dept apparently has issues with my coverage. So you LIED to me when you said you were out of network? I can give you the number to our billing dept she says. No thanks, I found someone else.
Hey, if you don’t want to deal with a specific insurance then take yourself out of the network for REAL. Don’t lie to patients who are in pain and waste their time. Most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with a health care provider.
Too bad, because the PT came highly recommended and I can see why. He was awesome. Dan was his name. Too bad he works for a bunch of liars.
