I have been to both Shoprite’s in Brooklyn, but I do love the Gateway Center one the best. They always have what is on sale, they have pleasant cashiers, they take all of my coupons but the only thing in both Brooklyn stores is that they do not double. The store is clean, well organized and the people who work there are always helpful. I love to do my shopping here and get everything I need in one place. The restroom is kept clean and the buffet looks delicious. I also get to go to Target, Best Buy, and Home Depot when I am here and if I want to walk JcPenney and Aldi. This is the best store Brooklyn has ever had. Love it here.

If you ever need fresh cut flowers go to Shop Rite of Gateway. The flowers are fresh and the bouquets and/​or arrangements are beautiful. I just got 2 bouquets for Mother’s Day and I paid far less for them in Shop Rite then I would have paid in the florist and the Sop Rite flowers were far superior! There is a very sweet young lady who works there, Michelle. She asks questions and will make anything to your liking and specifications. Michelle is amazing!!! I will continue to go back to Shop Rite of Gateway for all my flower needs!!!

Talk about the best supermarket in brooklyn, the largest cleanest most organized and friendliest grocery Brooklyn has ever seen. I am so happy that my sister introduced me to this place the produce is always fresh. There is a wide selection of hot prepared food as well as semi-​prepared food to finish prepare when you reach home. The workers here always seem to be working not too chatty chatty. The aisles are well organized. There is also a wonderful selection of gluten free and organic products. I find myself at this location at least once every week great job with this location to the management all the way down to the associates

Best Grocery Store ever! Has a restroom for customers, Dunkin Donuts, a buffet restaurant, great prices, great customer service! You find everything you need here. This place has become my very favorite, even if I have to drive 25 minutes to get there every time. It’s so worth it! They should have more locations in Brooklyn.

Great grocery store. It’s big, well stocked, clean and with a big parking lot. Costumer service is good for a grocery store. Don’t forget to carry a quarter to get a shopping cart! And try to go later in the day to avoid the massive crowds.

This place is huge. There is a Dunkin Donuts right by the entrance. They also have restrooms here which is nice. There is also a buffet bar that you pay seperately from the groceries. I think they charge by the pound.
There is also a huge deli section. They have pre wrapped fresh cold cuts which saves you from waiting in line if there is one.
The pre pared food section is pretty good too. Meals for one and two are pre prepped and all you have to do is heat it up.
Huge rows, long and wide enough to fit two carts thru the aisles.
Tons of different brands too. Huge Frozen Food selection.
Plenty of check out aisles. Not all of them are always open but the lines are never too bad. There is a self check out option too.
Plenty of parking although it does get busy during certain times. Don’t forget your quarter to get your shopping cart. You need one to unlock the cart from the others. You get it back if you put your cart back when you’re done.

I had to say something! This caliber of supermarket is waaaaaay overdue in good olé Brooklyn. Hands down the best grocery experience, that is if grocery shopping is ur thang (my children claim its mine). I loooove this market & I’ve shopped at their stores in Jersey & upstate NY. Had to let the manager know how much I enjoyed being in the store, especially since he recognized me 2 days in a row. There is ample parking, the aisles are wide & well lit, great selection of everything including cheeses (yes that’s important!!), a hot Chinese food & standard buffet, the longest ice cream aisle I’ve ever seen & a sushi station, I actually watched my sushi being made fresh! They have a boat load of open checkout registers, so eventhough the store is packed, u’r not in line for more than 15 minutes. I’m so happy my price plus card was still valid. This market is about to clean my wallet out! Can’t wait for the Can Can sale! Can’t wait!

Absolutely love this store! It’s spacious, clean and very well stocked. Not once have I not gotten what I came in for. I especially like that they have organic brands right next to the regular, its not a separate display. This enables me to find new organic products all the time. The staff is friendly and helpful, which shows that it must be a great place to work as well as shop!

Quite possibly the best grocery store I have ever shopped at…
New to the Gateway Mall extension plan, Shop Rite has pretty much everything a grocery store has to offer… except unruly, impatient and over crowded consumers. The store is huge, plenty of choices for groceries for what you’re shopping for, very decent prices, a food buffet, deli, mini seafood store… and the best part to me, PLENTY OF OPEN CASHIERS. This is something that you will not see at your local Pathmark. Not to mention that the cashiers are friendly and seem to be content with their jobs which you really do not find often at grocery stores. Who ever is managing here has to be doing a great job because this place is on point be the times that I have shopped here the past few months, have not had one bad experience.

I love this store! The store looks awesome. …my first time shopping at Shoprite. They have sushi, hot food and deli stations. The produce section is my favorite section of the store. They have some very good sale items but I did noticed that they also have a lot of overpriced items as well. That wouldn’t deter me from shopping here again because I’m a conscious shopper.
