The food was fine, even delicious, and the atmosphere is nice enough(though it’s as crowded as any Brooklyn restaurant…), but the service was dismal. Things started out strongly, we were seen quickly and with the bottle service one would expect, but once we received our meal, the ample and abundant staff didn’t see us for an upwards of 40 to 50 minutes. They truly left money on the table, because if a waiter had checked on us after we finished, we would have ordered dessert or possibly more drinks. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed they were perhaps trying not to rush us, but even after we put our card on the table(again, a long while after our meals were finished), it took our waiter an exceedingly long time to drop the check, even as we observed patrons around us that had come in AFTER us get served promptly and efficiently. Another small detail that made it difficult to enjoy the experience was our table. It was a marble top end table simply NOT made for dining… One couldn’t sit at it without spreading their legs entirely because of the ornate and sprawling legs at the center. Again, the food and wine was fine but the service simply too negligent for me to say that I had a good experience at this restaurant.

I love this place, I usually go for dessert and wine. The ambiance is nice, the bartender is always very welcoming and I could say they probably have the best Italian cheesecake in NYC. Can’t wait to go back

Wandered in after a lovely brisk stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge and was in the mood for something quaint, New York bistro food rather than the always tempting but utterly predictable Shake Shack to the immediate left. The menu was short but promising. Mediterranean/French…yes, please. My friend ordered the house salad with arugula, candied walnuts and avocado, I ordered the tomato mozzarella caprese app to start. A most unfortunate choice – the mozzarella was flavorless and rubbery, the tomatoes unripe and topped with a measly 2 barely discernible pieces of basil. My friend fared somewhat better with her salad, but that caprese was the worst I ever had. Mains: My friend had the fettuccini, I had the rigatoni. Let’s just say one could do better with a box of Barilla pasta and a jar of Raoul’s. Also I was horrified when the waitress came by to offer cheese(ooh, I thought, freshly grated Parmesan) – and it was of the prefab dried sawdust variety. Long story short, the food was underwhelming, lacking in flavor, and ridiculously overpriced. And for two people(a party of 2, I say!) each having one glass of wine, a salad and a simple pasta main, the bill came to $ 100. That’s including the 20% «service» fee they added to our bill. Excuse me but since when did maximum gratuity become a mandatory charge? We weren’t a large party by any stretch of the imagination and the service was okay, but certainly not great. I probably would have left a 15% tip had we been left with any choice in the matter. Of course the view is absolutely fantastic. But restaurants on the waterfront have got to stop taking advantage of this fact, especially if they can’t offer halfway decent food. I’d have sooner paid 5 times as much to dine at The River Café less than a block away than pay a penny to eat at this sad establishment. $ 50 poorer and now suffering from tummy troubles, I will never eat here again.

I stopped here with a friend for a bite on a nice day… We were just passing by. Basically the lady at the counter(whom could barely speak English or understand us) made a mistake and put us down for one too many crepes. When we got the check I mentioned it to her and she adjusted the check. No problems. Out of no where this other woman storms in and is like«what’s the problem here». Trying to interrogate me over 1 crêpe lol. So I explained what happened… The lady who helped us could barely speak English and that’s my fault? No. I’m not paying $ 12 for an extra crêpe I didn’t order. Not to mention it’s ridiculous that an owner from a restaurant would make a scene like that in front of other customers. But that’s ok because in the end the business suffers with service like this.

cool little place with comfortable seating options and a sort of bohemian coffee shop type atmosphere but my double machiato was 5 bucks! in shock, did not have enough money to try a crêpe. there is a decent amount of seating.

Best crepes I’ve had outside of France. Very quaint, the food is so good, sweet or savory and prices are so reasonable. Check out the Brooklyn Bridge savory $ 9, or the Nutella $ 6, or create your own.

This little crêpe shop may be French themed but do not be fooled, this place is all Russian! The tablecloths may be emblazoned with Eiffel towers but they are made of rough potato sack burlap! Toilets are $ 2 per use, audacious considering the free public restrooms in the park across the street. We ordered two cokes and a Parisian crêpe but instead received two creeps an no cokes, an easy mistake which was hastily corrected, providing us also with a humorous view of the cook’s shocked expression when the unserved crêpe was returned. The crêpe was indeed no crêpe, it was unquestionably a blin, a Russian pancake version of the parisian crêpe, but I didn’t mind, I’ll eat anything after all, and it wasn’t bad for a blin. I did appreciate the carved carrot garnish sitting atop, it brought a flavor of Asia and I like to be reminded of the east while I dine. The décor is a mix of vintage inspiration and home arts and crafts. A little stage sets a scene in the front with a wooden bench flanked with mustard sheer drapes. Beneath sits an ikea chest of drawers decorated simply with a tiny wooden box and a Verizon wireless router, blinking cheerfully. This leads me to believe that they offer wireless service, important for today’s Internet savvy customer, indeed I am in fact writing this in the café itself, giving an account in almost present time. The cheque arrived in a little wooden box, luckily service was included at 15% which saved us doing any maths, I wish more places would do this, I only got a B in arithmetic. This was collected by a little boy who came from nowhere it seemed, I assume this is a family establishment because it is normally surprising to see such young employees in this part of brooklyn. Overall, a healthy experience and I will certainly come back to sample their $ 2 toilets.

After a great day in Dumbo, at the Arts Festival, my friends and I were looking forward to trying crepes and coffee. We were immediately turned off by how hot it was. After I placed my order and paid, the woman behind the counter told me that she did not have enough change. She told me that she wasnt going to give me the change, nor did she make any attempts to ask for change from me or the store manager and assumed that it would not be a problem. I was so aggravated that I didnt even realize that I had given her $ 20 and only got $ 1 back as if I given her $ 10. I didn’t feel like I was treated respectfully as a customer and therefore would not be going back there or recommend that anyone else does.

A bit pricey for what I got, I felt like. Great atmosphere and indoor space, but that’s about it. Got an iced caramel latte and it wasn’t that great. But the fruit in my crepes were fresh and it was worth coming in to try. Not a bad place to chill with friends.

I have eaten here twice so far and I love Mon Crêpe! I’ve had the Amsterdam and the DUMBO so far. The Amsterdam is a folded crêpe with butter, lemon, and sugar, while the DUMBO is a folded crêpe with salmon, cream cheese, and lox. I was expecting the crepes to be overly lavish on the ingredients but they were all in pretty much perfect harmony with each other. The Amsterdam wasn’t too buttery or lemony or sugary at all and the cream cheese was basically infused into the salmon. Needless to say, their crepes are very good and the ladies who run the restaurant are also really nice!

This is a family spot that is still working out the kinks, but my Nutella crêpe was delicious and it was lovely to see the son packing the crêpe his mom had just made.

This place is a hot mess. Seriously. You walk in and you think it’ll be a cool atmosphere but the waitresses are beyond stressed, all over the place and there aren’t even enough seats for the amount of tables(6). –Parisian(swiss cheese, ham and a fried egg): it was runny and the ham wasn’t great. EHH is was such a runny mess. Yikes! FINALVERDICT: The way they delivered the bill was pretty cool(in this little box which collects your cash because the place is cash only), but don’t waste your money. Poor service, not-so-great food.

It’s a sweet little place, open just a few weeks. The owners(formerly of O’Crepes) were friendly and said they were still working out the menu, though they focus on organic ingredients. Happy to see a shop open in Fulton Ferry Landing with new food options. (And not another pizzeria on Old Fulton Street). On the menu: sweet and savory crepes, Vietnamese sandwiches(Banh mi), fresh juices and smoothies. We ordered savory crepes. They told us the food would be carefully prepared — and made with love.(Nice!) I had the Yoga Sun — stuffed with feta, spinach and fresh tomatoes. My husband had the Brooklyn Bridge — filled with chicken, mushrooms, onions and cheese. The crepes were light, but made well enough not to tear, and they were delicious. Looking forward to sampling more of the offerings. Eyeing the dessert menu and the Hula Hoop…
