I can easily describe this place in just 2 words: EATINGGOOD! It is not easy to find a diner that has 5 star quality food especially on busy days such as Saturdays. When I came here for a late breakfast, I got seated at a booth right away ‚& the owner who greeted us was very friendly. I liked how breakfast was served all day, and the amount of wraps, sandwiches, burgers and omelettes to pancake platters are just endless. the waiter I had was very knowledgeable about the menu, he was friendly and served us very fast. I was able to substitute regular sausage for turkey sausage for just 1.25, and egg whites for 1.25 which is pretty reasonable. I like how healthy my food was, the home fries weren’t greasy, my omelet was a good portion with feta cheese and green peppers, the turkey sausage was thick which is awesome and the amount of coffee refills with skim milk were unlimited. the whole wheat toast they gave me was the size of my head! the western omelet that my boyfriend had was also very large and filling, he enjoyed his thick hot chocolate too. I love how we didn’t feel rushed when we ate, and the waiter always checked on us to see how we were doing. street parking was also not too bad in the area considering it was a busy weekend. I cant wait to come back here to try the rest of the menu! for a huge breakfast for 2, we paid 30 dollars which is very reasonable.

After we left the Floridian without even being acknowledged, I was on my way to Frank’s Pizza when I remember Oasis across the street. We had a lovely old school greek waiter, I had the Greek salad w grilled chicken, my daughter had a waffle with a whole lot of stuff & baby boy had a burger. Boy were we satisfied. Service warm, attentive & friendly. Food was satisfying. The bill: cheap. The family: happy. Nuff said.

Have to say the best diner around. Once kings plaza closed was kind of upset but much happy now that this opened. There food is always fresh and there breakfast is the best. The western omelette is to die for. The only thing they could change is the woman at the front she’s always miserable. Otherwise yummy food!

This place is always packed. I am not much of a dinner person, but they serve a hellified breakfast that packs a powerful punch. Fresh squeezed orange juice, very good hot chocolate, sausage, scrambled eggs what cheddar cheese. They have my vote. Friendly, quick service and very family friendly. The wait is not more than 5 — 10 minutes.

**** IMPORTANTINFOREADBELOW **** so i came here with my mom and brother for breakfast. posted some pictures of the menu. honestly this was a 5 star review until you read what i witnessed. the food: the food is incredible, portions are HUGE, budget priced, and served promptly i really didn’t have a problem with it at all. they give you these little home made complementary bran/corn muffins when you sit down, kind of like an appetizer plate or basket of bread. i ate a few of these, they were ok(read more) the coffee: its decent. it’s not stump town brew but it’ll squeak by. homemade corned beef hash: asked a few times and they swear its in house made… i don’t believe it. the portion size is tremendous and its good but it really tastes like its from a can. eggs: perfection done right, not over done, not runny(whites) perfect. service: we got a cute waitress, really sweet, attentive, always coming by asking how we were doing. genuinely a nice girl. the coffee bus boy was good also, came by at least twice to refill our cups. i can’t complain ***************************************************** here is where it gets bad, i went to the bathroom and on your way to the bathroom you pass the busboy/waiter station where they store the muffins in a warming drawer, cups, glasses, silverware etc. i saw a busboy that had just come back from busing a table take a small plate of 3 muffins(that had come back from a table) and i was watching… PRAYING… that they were going in the trash, unfortunately they went back into the warmer. now i genuinely don’t get grossed out by certain things, dumpy looking restaurants that are crammed with people, you know the food is fresh and hasn’t been sitting, however i ate a few of these muffins and they were all varying contrasts of texture, one was soft, one was a bit hard, some looked a little eh, while others looked better… reusing these muffins or even table bread in my opinion is a big NO. sure i can understand sealed things like jelly, jam, sugar packets, butter, etc but muffins or bread where people could have touched, splashed milk or coffee on, water etc… yeah no thank you. does it bother me enough to not eat here again? probably not but i will not be eating those muffins again unless I’m the first to get in the door and they are served piping hot out of the oven. oasis is a neighborhood gem. the food is cheap, staff cute and friendly, and they take plastic(thank god!) come visit you won’t be disappointed(just don’t eat the complementary muffins!)

Our family’s go-to place in our hood. One of the last of the old-school Greek diners. Huge menu, huge portions, everything tastes good and the wait staff is always pleasant. I’d eat there every night if I could.

I love this diner. Great burgers, fries, gyro platters and wraps. I went out of my comfort zone and ordered a reuben. I wasn’t impressed, but I wasn’t upset either. I have been here at least 4 times. I always give it a 5 star, except this last time. But my friends enjoyed it… so the 5 star remains. ENJOY :) PS: SUPERAWESOMESTAFF

I come here all the time for breakfast/brunch with my boyfriend. We found it a while ago when another amazing place had shut down. Skeptical at first(as you should be with ALL diners), we both have been back almost every other weekend for the last 9 months! This place is AMAZING! We’ve had our fair share of nasty servers over the last few months that have come and gone, but nevertheless our food is always on point! I usually get an egg white omelette with veggies and home fries with whole wheat toast, and he usually goes for the Western Omelette or Belgian waffles! The food and fruit are always fresh and always comes out looking amazing! After 9 months of coming to this place, I love it so much but have never had the time t I review it. Most of the servers have been helpful and pleasant, but I have not had such amazing service in a LONGTIME as we had this morning! Her name is Syka. From the very moment we sat down, this breakfast was an amazing experience. She was warm and inviting and genuinely seemed to just be having a wonderful time. the atmosphere was a mess today because it was packed with people and the outdoor covered area had NOAC— so that was not great. She always kept out waters filled and made sure we did not have any unmet needs! She was just an absolute JOY to my day today and I am so thankful for her making this brunch particularly a very great one! THEONEANDONLYREASON I GAVETHISPLACE4 instead of 5… Is Only minor complaint — - after 9 months of coming here I really wish this place served salsa for certain omelettes. No salsa is a killer and Fix the AC pronto

As soon as I entered, I got the old school NY diner feel and it was nostalgic. The host immediately welcomed me. She sat me down, provided me a menu and asked me if I would like coffee or tea. I of course asked for coffee. Right off the bat the service was phenomenal, welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I love that type of service! The waitress came and took my order. I asked for eggs Benedict without bacon and to substitute turkey sausage in stead. She took my order and while I waited another gentleman came with a glass of water and complimentary mini muffins. Can it get any better with the service? The eggs bene was okay. Coffee is bold, I like that. Home fries also just okay but I’m not big on them anyways. The mini muffins were dry but who cares their free lol So the food is a 3.5 out of 5 but the service is a 10! I will come back to try more.

Dont even waste your time. I called for a pick up. It took them over 30 mins to get my order out. When I came into the restaurant the owner/manger whatever he was didn’t even acknowledge me. Rude much?! He was on the phone talking to Vinny about an order that was taken a week ago. Yeah I heard the whole convo because you would think he resolve the issue in his office not in front of customer. he was yelling on the phone. Vinny a customer wouldn’t let him finish his convo. The owner was entitled to the extra $ 4 he charged a customer? Cheap bastard! I asked him«can I pay for my food» he still continued talking on the phone. I grabbed the paper in the bag and handed it to him and he took it and placed it on the counter STILL not acknowledge my presences Yeah the food isn’t worth it and expensive! I live in the area. My family has been going there before they renovated. It’s not the same. Go across the street to Floridian you’ll have a better experience! Work on your Customer Service maybe just maybe people will return

3.5 stars Although it’s in my neck of the woods I don’t come here often, but when I do I almost always have an enjoyable experience. I have enjoyed breakfast/brunch and dinner here. Both meals and service were pretty good. I love the environment and how homey and diner-ish it feels. The staff is friendly and attentive and the food is slightly better than what you would expect out of a typical diner. The pricing is cheap and the area it is located in attracts many in the neighborhood which is a good thing. You can tell the restaurant is owned by good people whose main priority is to give you good food and good service. Definitely try this place out if you’re ever in the area.

Oasis is a great neighborhood spot to go for breakfast/lunch. The staff is always friendly and they are quick to take and bring our your order. I ordered an egg white omelette with peppers & onions with a side of sausage and french fries. The serving is huge, a decent price. My boyfriend had the spinach florentine wrap with home fries which he enjoyed. I love this place for breakfast.

One of the only diners in the area that does delivery, just wish they were open 24⁄7 like some of the other diners around here. Like most diners, some stuff is really good and some stuff could be better and most options are average. Waiters are friendly though and portions tend to be on the BIG side, especially for dinners. My go to is the chicken cordon bleu– it’s amazing. I have no idea why, but it’s so darn good. Cute, small diner– been going here for years, probably 15 years. If in the area and looking for solid place to grab a bite to eat, definitely worth your while and your wallet.

I had this diner on my «wish list» for some time now. I was finally able to bring my greedy ass after church service! I am a man on a mission and all I can think about was fluffy and tender french toast! My mission was complete! It was served with a side of bacon and I also ordered a corn muffin. The place was packed. Looks like a busy time of day. Overall I will be making another visit. Possibly become a regular since it’s in my area.

Absolutely do not come here unless you wanna be sat next to a heater that makes you envy being in a sauna. I’ve been coming here for years and our waiter couldn’t care less about anything than making sure we were in his section so he got the table. The entire area was so hot I couldn’t enjoy my meal, I couldn’t wait to get the hell out of here. As much as I hate the Floridian, at least I know they’ll seat me where I’m comfortable. The only reason they get two stars is because they got my order right. But how hard is it to mess up a burger and fries? Thanks for nothing Oasis.

I recently moved to the area and this place is probably one of the things that would make me stay. The portions are HUGE compared to the TINY price. The staff is so friendly and you can see why everyone keeps coming back. I’ve had their omelette platters, salmon eggs benedict, burgers, pancakes, sandwichs and they all are spectacular.

I love it here! The owner and his children are really nice. Pete(the owner) always greets me with a handshake or a hug. Some of the wait staff are on point, some not so much. They have a lot to choose from & the portions are HUGE! I usually get the spicy buffalo chicken wrap or the belgium waffle. I used to come here with my ex boyfriend all the time. I had to muster up some courage to start coming back here after we broke up. When it’s not crowded, it’s good to sit down, eat, and shoot the breeze.

Wow! Five stars for service alone! Here’s just a few other reasons: 1) Good food, 2) Lots of food, 3) Tons of choices, 4) Giant place with plenty of nice seats everywhere, and 5) In my old neighborhood, so nostalgia was on high!
