Love these burgers but this location is now closed. Too bad.

I will say that the burgers are pretty good if you eat them fresh and they aren’t cooked to death. The fries are always weak. I have asked numerous times for them to be crispy and they are seemingly unable to do them any longer then the set time on the fryer. You can tell from the receipts that any special considerations/requests are good for the burger but they ignore anything that you ask for with the fries. Also they need to switch the chairs. this place is all tile so noise is an issue. With the chairs as heavy as they are they make a ton of noise when they are moved. Otherwise it is what it is — a cheap burger joint.

I don’t know why anybody would go here, besides price and children. This specific store is dirty, smells funny, and the service is slow. Sure, it’s better than McDonalds, but there’s not much competition there.

The lady on the counter: she’s unbelievably rude. I don’t know, most of time she was ok. But then finally she was giving us an attitude against my family(wife, little 9month old baby). We never go back there never. Moo Burger is lot better than Five Guys.(food, service, etc.)

Ok, I am on a roll. If I eat a filling late lunch, I don’t need to eat dinner. And I can just have a snack and a few drinks in the evening. It is better for my wallet, since I don’t have a job. Five guys is filling. I feel like I won’t be able to eat for days… of course I will be hungry by 9pm! This location feels tight to me, but if you sit in the front you can people watch. I like places like this because I don’t feel badly about eating alone.

I love Five Guys burgers, and their fries taste like real potatoes. I think this location is better than the Park Slope one, as the burgers taste fresher. The price is a bit high for what’s considered«fast food» but I think it is the best fast food burger you can get in Brooklyn. The burgers are made to order, so don’t forget to include all of your fixins’ — ketchup, pickles, tomatoes, etc. I always order the mini bacon cheeseburger as it is big enough to satisfy. The fry orders are HUGE too, so only need to get one order of fries to share for two people. I would recommend this spot highly.

Five Guys does NOT belong in this neighborhood, which is why nobody goes there. DIE.

I love 5 guys. French fries are amazing and one of the few places in NYC where I can get dr pib. It’s a Sunday funday tradition at our house.

I’d never been to a Five Guys before, and my expectations were nil. I’d never even heard anyone speak of FG, for better or worse, and yet they seem to be omnipresent at the moment, with new locations popping up all over. So, I was in a rush last week and ran here in for some fast food. Note the words«rush» and«fast.» The set-up of the shop is a bit obvious, poorly-lit and thus, impersonal. It’s railroad style, with all of the action happening in the back. Perhaps something could be done to soften up the entry a bit to make it more welcoming. When I got to the food area/counter, there appeared to be more people being the work station than customers. I couldn’t quite get a grasp of what so many people were doing behind there, and I began to get a bit anxious wondering«how many people does it take to make a cheeseburger?» Indeed, some of the peeps back there were just chit-chatting with each other, while others were certainly hard at work. I ordered a mini-cheeseburger. That’s all. No fries. My ticket number was 21 and they were on 19, so how long could this possibly take, really, I thought. Turns out, it can take a while. The burger is made fresh, with real ground meat — you can even see them molding it behind the counter. I wish the cashier had advised that it would take«a few minutes» just so I could be in a waiting mindset. The service was so brisk, I assumed the burger would be created as briskly, and that it would be ready by the time I made my way down to the cash register. Although it took a while(at least 3x as long as any McDonald’s moment I’ve ever had), my cheeseburger with mushrooms and barbeque sauce was delicious. Seriously delicious. Juicy, fresh, savory. It truly surprised me. Later, when I was done, I didn’t feel the«ick» greasy feeling I get when I eat other fast food. I will definitely be back.

I’m not sure about other people’s experience with this joint, but I had a good burger here. I got a bacon cheeseburger. The meat was juicy and it did taste great. I added a ton of toppings on it and customized(the hell out of) my burger. The Cajun fries we got with it were killer. If you like spicy, get them. Also, since they give you an obscene amount fries, it’s fine to split them with a friend. I probably wouldn’t say that this is the best burger ever, but as far as I remember, it’s pretty close to «in & out», definitely better than Mickie’s or BK. Great money value. I’d rate this place 3.5 stars and round up to 4.

I cast aside my dietary restraint for THAT? wtf how can ANYONE that genuinely loves a true hamburger enjoy eating that mediocre crap? The staff is working to get their act together, they’re fine, and are doing their job… It’s the formula that’s all wrong here. The burgers are McDonalds etc style thin ¼ lb patties cooked medium well all the time. Then to make a normal burger, they stack two on each other. There is no juice or succulence to the beef. You have no choice or input. Oh, and the fries are cut too big and are mealy. Goodburger on E 54th in Midtown(perhaps the others are good, but I’m not sure) is still the only burger and fries I’ll endanger my digestive apparatus for – you can order a rare hamburger with the works and it’s completely worth it, to me, as I couldn’t do much better at home. This is like: worse than Wendy’s. The fries are damning. And the burgers are definitely a little sad. I was so excited to see what I’d heard was a good hamburger joint opening just next door, but this is going to become a business that doesn’t really exist for me now. I guess I can hope that Mooburger, opening where the crappy old Chinese restaurant that went on fire was, will be able to make a genuinely better burger(where at least you can get a rare burger), but I’m really not holding my breath.
