I come here all the time when I need a bottle of wine or some liquor in a pinch. The prices are competitive and they have a great selection. In particular, I love that they have a strong refrigerated champagne, white and rose section in the front. They also have an extensive red and white selection in the back given the size of the store and all of the wines are temperature controlled. They also have liquor; pretty much anything that you’re looking for, they will have. It meets all of my needs for most occasions other than bulk buying. The staff is neutral; neither outgoing nor rude, just there to help and friendly if you chat with them.

Any wine shop with a dedicated California section with a good selection of zins from along the Gold Coast gets a 5 in my book. Being a California raised winey I come here to get my fix of that home grown red goodness I crave on my tenth month away from home. Great find. Diverse selection. Cool people keeping the place up. Forget roebling liquors or whatever that place is on the south side of the bridge, this is the only liquor shop you need. Also, very good if you’re like me a ballin on a budget.

Came here on a whim to look for a specific wine and they had it in stock! Super friendly guys here and we’re willing to help with no issue. Located right on the corner. Great selection of wine! You’ll probably find exactly what you’re looking for here.

Liquor in the front! Poker in the rear! Well, actually the wine room is in the rear. They have a pretty nice wine selection in a back room that feels like you are walking into a giant wine humidor. Prices are pretty reasonable, the selection is good, and well labeled by region. Decent liquor selection in the front room too. We had stopped into Trojanowski Liquors first and almost gagged on the prices there. The Unilocal ap helped us find this place and it was a pleasant surprise. Staff was nice too. Great find — thanks to Unilocal

Eight & Driggs isn’t on the main strip of Bedford Avenue, which most people, when visiting Williamsburg will focus on, but if you are in need of alcohol, Eight & Driggs is BYFAR the best place that you could stop at. The prices are really fair and will be the cheapest you will find in this area. I commonly will find things here for $ 5 – 7 cheaper than other liquor stores. The owner and his employees are really nice guys that will answer any questions you have about certain wines in the back room or any type of liquor that you aren’t too sure about trying. They seem to have tried it all. Also, if you live in the area, lots of times during the spring/summer, they have different companies come in giving taste testings. I’ve walked out of there a little buzzed off a couple of shots to only drink more of whatever I bought at Eight & Driggs. **I think they have a $ 15 card minimum.**

If you’re in the neighborhood, there is no reason to go to any other liquor store. This place has the best prices and the best selection, both of which I assume are attributable to the fact that they aren’t located RIGHT on Bedford Ave. A block and a half walk from Trojanowski is worth saving $ 5 on a bottle of whiskey in my book.

This place is a secret gem. I got tired of Trojanowski’s totally arbitrary policy of making customers pay cash for purchases under $ 25. So one night I went to 8th& Driggs to get a bottle. Not only was it cheaper(and they took my card), but there is a big wine room in the back. I found my favorite wine that I used to buy from Uva – and it was cheaper by $ 2! This is my new local wine and liquor store. I won’t waste my money paying for the other stores’ Bedford Ave. rent when I can get what I want here.
