I know it’s stupid to review a Checkers, but I love it. I haven’t been through the drive through, I don’t know if that affects my review. I’ve only ever walked here (Something about telling myself if I’m going to eat Checkers I’m going to walk through the park to get there). I find the people behind the glass to be pretty nice. The food comes out right away. What can I say? It’s checkers, you’re not getting gourmet food, but you know that going in.

I am actually a fan of Checkers just not this one at all!!! I try it periodically to see if they have come up to par… but no:(The customer service is not bad, but can get distracted very easily. CS can forget your order 3 or 4 times with you saying it to their face. I never leave this this place with out checking my order… because every time it is wrong in some way. The food should be hot since basically its made to order… however luke warm fries with cold cheese is not good… luke warm patty with almost melted cheese… bacon bites are different then bacon stripes!!! I hope this one can do better b4 they close down… smh!

The worst service ever!!!
I visited this checkers location on empire and all I can say is… never again. First off I placed my order while it was empty and no one was there. I waited for 15 minutes and they still got my order wrong. Then when I let the guy who was at the window know my order was wrong, he gave me an attitude and slammed the window in my face. When they finally got my order right I felt like I wasted my lunch break on just bad service.
This location needs to get better management, better polite staff and get customer orders out quickly if not it needs to be closed down. The guy who cooks in the back with the hair was very rude and needs to be fired. I will never recommend anyone to eat at this location unless you like bad service!

The food is typical of fast food. If you visit checkers you know what you’re in for. I’m just writing a review to say that 9 times out of 10 the staff here is pretty cool. And that’s rare for a fast food restaurant. I think they do a pretty good job here. I’m always happy to visit.

The worse Checkers I’ve ever been to first of all i ordered a chicken sandwich and got a piece of chicken with 2 pieces of tomato and that’s all. Which I paid $ 6 dollars for and the bottom bun was missing the employees are highly disrespectful eating from the customers food when preparing it in the back. Horrible place to sit smells like garbage and fires all over the floor. The lady at the front didn’t know how to use my credit card swipe and they’re very unprofessional I don’t recommend this branch of checkers to anyone.

I love bufallo wings. I think this Checkers is the best one yet so far in Brooklyn. The wings were a nice size, cooked just right. They lost brownie points when the cashier asked me what sauce I wanted. I told her paid my bill and waited for my wings. I looked at the bill and saw I had been charged for sauce without my knowledge or permission.
If they thought the flavor was angry I got Angry when I spoke to the cashier she asked what the big deal was I could afford it. I informed her that as a consumer I had a right to be informed. I have ranch and blue cheese dressing at home. Its not like she was a waitress and it would boost her tip nor did she own the franchise. I just wish customer service training was as high a priority as was her attitude. Yes I could afford the extra cost but it was my choice to make. In order not to loose my cool I drove home and enjoyed the hell out of my wings lol. But buyer beware they charge for sauce. SMH !
