Just left… Back in 2012, my review did n’t post because it needed editing. I thought I would try Bark based on the TV review… After all the baked bean sounded awesome during the spot on foodnet work! DONT Eat here. Hot dog tasted like the cheapest hotdog u can buy. Baked beans are spicy for my taste. The bit of pork in the beans was dry and stringy(totally dried out). Small slider sized Pork belly was very moist and full of flavor… But it left me wanting more. If u got money to spend for an over priced veggie burger… Well at least that was the most awesome thing I tasted. This was a wasted trip for me from Si to park slope. There was a no parking spot out side so we waited/ate in the car(no parking lot). The previous reviews were correct 25 bux wasted. Still starving. Should have ate at a fast food joint. More value. Better taste!

I play volleyball at the sand courts below this location and always come up for a drink and food in between matches. Absolutely one of the best views in the summer during sun sets. Only negative: so many kids

Bark Hot Dogs has become our outdoor go-to spot before/after our league volleyball games on the adjacent Pier 6 sand volleyball courts. Even if you’re not hungry or thirsty, you should head upstairs for their magnificent view alone(pic: )! The space is more like a seating area/park with a concession stand that happens to serve hot dogs, burgers, salads, beers, and some wines. It’s really not a dedicated bar or restaurant per se — I’ve seen plenty of people seated there with their own drinks and/or not patronizing the concession. In any given night, expect to hear an eclectic mix of songs ranging from Nirvana, Ace of Base, Will Smith, Metallica, Violent Femmes, Led Zeppelin, Snoop Dogg, to(insert band that you enjoy but may not have heard in the past 5 – 10 years). On to the food/drinks — As Ron noted, hamburger and hot dog prices are a bit steep for what you get, but if you’re into toppings, you can dress up your snack with whatever you’d like, free of charge. They have a variety of odd cans and tap beers(Sweet Action, anyone?) ranging from $ 5-$ 7. With the warm weather soon coming to a close, I’d highly recommend Bark to anyone, whether they’re looking for a gorgeous view of the lower Manhattan skyline or the volleyball games, or if they’re looking for some simple food and tasty beers — Get your last licks in for 2012! P. S. — As the name implies, you’re welcome to bring your dogs. There’s a jar of free biscuits to satiate them as well!

This place rocks… Fantastic friendly staff and great views. I stumbled upon this place at pier 6 and was happy to nosh on a juicy burger and some chicken wings. They have good offerings in the beer and wine arena too. Based on my experience here I am planning to try the flagship shop in Park Slope. A nice guy named Asher told us that they also have a presence on the highline. Hmmmmm.

Chill place. I haven’t tried the actual dogs, but the beers and even wines on tap are pretty nice on a hot summer day. Prices are reasonable too, I believe my tall cup of Sixpoint Bark Red Ale was just $ 6. I am surprised that this little spot on Pier 6 doesn’t have more patronage(though that’s probably a good thing, for me) because the view really is pretty stellar. They also blast an interesting mix of music on the speakers, I’m talking a playlist of Drake and Death Cab, back to back. Hmm, fine with me though. Lots of kids running around though. Makes me wonder if I like kids or not… just saying.

dear bark hot dogs, rent a zip car, fill it up with gas, drive up to cape neddick, maine, stop at ‘flows’ hot dogs, get a dog with special sauce, sulk in self pity, steal their recipe, call it ‘bark sauce’, then sell your hot dogs for $ 5.

I wanted to wander around Brooklyn and ended up here near Pier 6. You would think that judging by the outside Bark has a nice kitchen, great interior and relaxing… So far it’s true, but when you go upstairs you really see the great interior with an awesome view of the city and surrounding areas. It is RELAXING with the cool breeze and nice shade from the giant umbrellas. Not a nice kitchen, but great one since you are outdoors. Anytime you get to cook outdoors is a major plus for me. The menu here is simple. Hot dog, sandwich or a burger. I ended up getting the Bark Burger. It’s a special blend of beef short ribs and pork. Which makes it really juicy and flavorful. If you want it with cheese it will cost you around $ 7. I was expecting something a bit larger. It was the size of a cheeseburger from McDonalds. For the price it’s a bit up there, but the quality is excellent. Soak up the sun, feel the breeze and enjoy Bark Hot Dogs!

This place is all about summer! I have nothing but love for Bark, these guys hail from my hometown and make some excellent hot dogs. I like this new spot because, well, let’s face it, the view is incredible and it’s a really nice place to spend an afternoon, whether you’re coming back from Governor’s Island, or just riding your bike on the greenway. The prices are in line with the Bergen St. location and what’s nice is the DIY dog bar on the side. I like tossing on the ‘kraut, cucumber relish, and burger sauce for some crisp, summer flavor. They also have a decent selection of beers and wine on tap so you’re sure to leave with a good buzz. The staff is super friendly and service is really quick, as always. Shift comma three, till infinity.
