I dont even know where to start this place is really good! First of all this is 24⁄7 and food is deliciouuus!!! So i been here like a lot lately i’ll just gonna write the review about my last visit! We were out partyin hard with my friends, of course when party ends at 4 in the mornin you usually kinda hungry but instead of goin to some kinda diners i suggested Aksaray! So let me tell you about this great authentic turkish place! Tiny space, right next to the entrance they have marinated meat already on skewers you just need to choose what u want so the chef will put it on grill right away! The have just 4 tables(so tops all together they could serve like 12 people, and may i have your attention pls just 1 table was available so we were not the only crazy ones who decided to have some turkish food at 4 am! We got in so i ordered some haydari and babaganoush(u can see the pic of it bellow) for the appetizers and asked to server bring us a lots of bread lol for entrees we got: Adana kebab — 1 Chicken shish kebab — 1 Lamb shish kebab — 1 Everything to share of course and every kebab was served with rice(turkish style with orzu) and house salad! I’m so sorry i didnt took a picture for you cause as soon we got i even forgot about everything around lol They dont serve alcohol and this is not BYOB place but its not a big deal! My friends got Ayran in bottle i got Tamek’s(brand) Sour Cherry juice in can! Everything was delicious, stuff super friendly, doesnt matter what we asked them we got it literally in the next second! I just wanna say this place is not for dates and not super fancy this is just really good spot to get some kebab in the middle of the night! So when we asked the check everything in total was $ 40!!! So u can see prices are also really good! They also deliver at the daytime!!!

Diamond on the highway. I got the small gyro platter to go for 8 bucks. The rice was fluffy and moist. Salad– cucumber, tomato– was fukkin fresh. The meat was perfectly seasoned, tender on the inside, and crisp on the outside. Portion looks small but is quality and will fill you up. Comes with bread, white sauce, and hot sauce. Better than Chipotle and skank meat halal carts. Forgot to take a food pic but will when I return.

I rarely eat out because everything is over priced and bland. But this place was AMAZING and was well worth every penny. Im not a fan of ethnic foods either but again this place was A MAYZING!

Do not bother with the«free soda» check in, it is not honored, I was told«We Don’t Do That Here». Rest Room was«Only for Customers». While waiting, I asked if I could use the restroom to wash my hands, and was told, «You Are NOT Customer Until You Pay», even though I had ordered 24 $ worth of food. Sadly, despite being made to order, chicken skewers are on the lowest heat setting when they cook them so it’ll take 15 – 20 mins. I’m the quiet type and never to complain, but they must have been in a bad mood cause it wasn’t a welcomed vibe. Old man who cooks was sweating and doesn’t use gloves, neither does his«wife», and the floors were dirty and tables grimy… sorry, but want everyone to be aware. I contacted Unilocal, regarding the«Free Offers & Check-in Issues».

From all the Turkish restaurants in Brooklyn, Aksaray has been the best experience. The first time I came here I got the chicken kebab over rice; ever since I’ve been getting the same thing. Even when I visited Turkey, I wasn’t able to eat the same quality chicken kebab that this place makes. No restaurant can compete with these guys. Highly recommend to anyone who is a Turkish food fanatic.

Yum. I love nothing more than a simple lamb kebab over rice and they delivered. Super tasty, cooked perfectly, with a super fresh salad alongside as well. Felt a little pricey that takeout for two at lunchtime cost us about $ 25, but the freshness and taste was worth it. Friendly service as well — always a plus.

This place is open 24⁄7 which already deserves 5 stars. The food is surprisingly fresh. The cigars are one of the best I’ve ever had and comes out super crunchy. I usually get the mixed gyro over rice and salad. It’s also really cheap which is always great. The only thing that bothers me about this place is that they are really stingy with their white sauce. If you ask for extra they look at you like you’ve just seriously pissed them off. Also it’s a really shady crowd at night so bring a friend!

I’m upgrading my original review because whenever I’m in the mood for a gyro, and happen to get it somewhere else… it’s just not as good as Aksaray. They consistently have the freshest, best tasting gyro and hummus, and their bread is still great. I keep saying I want to branch out and try different foods here… but damn… the lamb gyro is just sooooo good. I did try all three baklava’s — all absolutely delicious.

Ive been here a few times and its usually pretty good. Their bread is better than many of the other turkish places also. I was a little disappointed this time because for my large plates, they were pretty small. The portion of my Shepard salad was especially small, not even halfway filling the container. Almost ten bucks for cucumbers and tomato, not ok. Other than that it was pretty bland tasting but the gyro and shish kebab plate was very good but also lacking in the portion dept. Don’t offer different sizes if they are all going to be small just in larger containers.

When I am in Midwood Brooklyn I frequent this spot. It has a warm and inviting staff and the food is great if you like a home cooked meal. I have brought friends and family here. Don’t let this small café fool you, they have by far the best Turkish food.

Got a small mixed gyro platter and it was definitely a lot less food than the other Turkish joint down the block. The rice was cold, meat was only slightly warm and the bread was stale. Compared to what I could get for the same price at another place, this simply paled in comparison. I was also disappointed that the meat lacked flavor and was somewhat on the dry side.

This restaurant is actually pretty good. I ordered an adana kebab for pickup, as well as three gyro sandwiches. All were made quickly, and all tasted fresh and flavorful. Definitely would recommend to anybody looking for some good Turkish food in the area.

Still as good as always. Came here with friends before a Yankee game. Everyones as friendly as usual and they even made sure we got everything quickly because we were running a bit late. Food was delicious. I had the Yogurtlu Kebab which was awesome. They also have the freshest Sigara Boregi I have tried in my life. Great place as always! There is also always parking outside!

I was here 3 days ago because it was 430am wanted a good meal and this place is advertised as being open 24 hours. There were some other people getting take out. I asked for a seat and was told they are closed I until 11am. So I am dropping them down too two stars. There were several people at a table eating. I was very disappointed with the owners attitude. I’m not going back here

Fast. Cheap. Delicious ! This is some BOMB Turkish food spot. Open 24/7, so even more perks for late night food cravings. This place is a real deal nitty gritty hole in the wall. I take the ride all the way here everytime when I’m craving for this type of food. It’s so much better than the bigger local places from me on Bensonhurst/Baypkway like Istanbul Café&Restaurant. What you must get when you’re here: Mixed gyro platter — everything taste so perfectly together on this place and my favorite is the yogurt sauce they give! I love the fact that it’s watery but yummy, that way it mixes well and blends through all the food. Get a large and share it! Fried eggplant w/sauce– soo good, done the best here. Bread always fresh and hot that they give you to this dish! Lamb Adana by itself. Lamb is awesome here. You’ll be really satisfied and full.
