I haven’t had great sushi like this in a long time, and not to mention the lunch price is so reasonable too. The hand rolls were so good, seaweed was crispy and fresh, fish was super fresh and tasty. The special roll was filled with fish and light on the rice– just how we like it.

Came here for New Years Eve and had a great experience. The service and the sushi were excellent. They had an extensive menu of sushi and main courses (fish, fried rice, etc) and were very reasonably priced. It’s a great place to go for dinner before going out.

So happy this quaint spot was open on Christmas Day for an enjoyable family dinner! Very cute ambiance, well-​priced food, and lovely staff. Pictured is pork katsu and plum wine (so yummy!). We also had the miso soup, salad, chicken teriyaki, shrimp teriyaki, and California and Spider rolls. Super satisfying!

Ako is my favorite Go to dinner spot in Williamsburg. Conveniently located on Bedford Ako offers amazing Sushi for affordable prices. Highly recommend the tuna!

Excellently priced food with great service. My friends and I opted for noodle dishes – each having something different than the other – and every one of us was pleased with what we had. If you’re looking for a hearty meal and some drinks with good company, this is a great place on Bedford to check-​out.

Went on a Wednesday evening around 8, not too crowded and definitely not too loud for conversation. The ambiance is intimate, a candlelit space perfect for a date. We had the sushi and sushimi for two and highly recommend it! Normally wouldn’t give five stars this easily but I really have nothing to complain about. Even the miso soup was excellent. Go check it out!

I was very very pleased with this place. They have far more innovative Japanese food than most sushi places in the city. It all looked good and it was really hard to pick what to eat off the menu.
You have to get the beef negimaki appetizer, which is basically beef and scallions rolled up like they’re sushi rolls with delicious sauce on top. So so good.
I also got the sashimi ume and it was very good. There were 3 sashimi pieces each for ~7 types of fish. It was a very good selection. I can say that the salmon was by far the best so I would recommend getting just salmon sashimi as well.
Service was very attentive and quick. There is a backyard area with a cute patio, and I would recommend eating out there if it’s warm out.
I will definitely be back to try more items on this menu!

So updating this review for the sole reason that I put this up only to get a free dessert. Went here again the other day and got the bento box that comes w miso.
The miso soup tasted like dirty soup water to the point where I had to put some soy sauce to it and the sushi was not fresh at all – saw them microwaving a lot of the sushi before they served it
Got my bento box wasn’t impressed at all and i asked for the spicy mayo on the side. The waitress said something to the sushi chef and he looked like I was crazy while they were laughing Like is asking for a side of spicy mayo so funny?
Overall not a good experience especially when they bribed half of these recent reviews for free desserts.
It’s crap. Not fresh. Bad food. Rude.

The food is good and the place is very authentic. The waiters are friendly. «Sushi for two» is a must have as it is relatively cheap for the amount of rolls you get. Overall, good experience.
