The food was disappointing. I ordered their special for dinner — it was definitely not a great cut of meat. Overpriced for the quality. Great place for a drink. Service was OK. I want to say good things because I think the place has potential. They just need to serve better quality food if they are going to call themselves a steakhouse.

Went here with family for a birthday dinner… may have been a blip, but service was excruciatingly slow which was disappointing. The food was okay, nothing special to brag about this time. We would probably go back to give it another try, but with the new dining options popping up in the area, it’s not really high on the list to try again at this point.

I’ve only had their pizzas so far and I find it very unique. I got to meet Rocco and he actually showed me how he prepares and cooks his pizzas. Definitely a man with the passion for his art. You know that you are having pizza at Rocco’s when you take your first bite all the way to the finish. Definitely recommended if you are in the area or would like to try something better than what you are normally eating at your local pizza shop.

We lunched there. The service was slow. You should be able to relax over your meal, not wait 20 minutes to get lunch when you are the only customers. I took an hour for lunch, and we did not have drinks or dessert. The bar area sports a large TV, which is visible from the restaurant section. The heating system, which is forced hot air, was very noisy, and we were not even under a vent. I presented a coupon and the server deducted it from the total that she had already run. This meant that the tax was figured wrong. I had to point that our to get it fixed. The restaurant layout still doesn’t work because they are running the pizza takeout business next door. We liked the food, but found it priced too high. We will restrict our business to takeout pizza from now on.

I have been going to Rocco’s probably since they opened when I was a kid growing up in Brookfield and this new restaurant is really an extension of Rocco’s. You can order food from the Hot Stone menu or the traditional Italian-American menu in the newly redone dining room which is now the«steakhouse» side. Food was tasty and my strip steak was of a decent size but unlike most steakhouses I’ve been too it was rather thin but covered much of the plate instead of what I consider a steakhouse cut which is usually thicker but not as large around. I ordered mine medium rare and it came medium but well seasoned so it was ok. Sides came with the steak as well as a salad and all were tasty. Service was quick and attentive. Overall a pretty good experience but when you call yourself a steakhouse I have a high expectation. If I can go to a good grocery store, buy a piece of meat of equal quality and cook up a steak just as good you get a 3. With the wide variety of menu options this would be a good place for a mixed crowd.

Hot Stone was suggested by some friends as a good option for a nice dinner. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was very friendly. We loved the complimentary bread. I had a NY Strip and it had a really nice flavor but was a little closer to medium well than medium. The side of asparagus and potatoes was very good. My husband had linguine with shrimp in an Alfredo and spinach sauce and really enjoyed it. Overall it was yummy and we will definitely be back to try something else on the menu.

It seems my first review was a not recommended review. Why I don’t know. I was not ranting about the restaurant I was just stating the facts. What I said is fact and here is my first review again. On 4÷26÷2014 I decided with 4 other friends and my wife to try this new«steakhouse». This restaurant is not a real steakhouse. I ordered the 16oz cowboy rib-eye($ 28.00). The steak came and was actually only 3/8″ thick and could not have weighted more than 8oz. I’ve been to every popular steakhouse(Chuck’s, Black Angus, Outback, Longhorns’s, Morton’s) and they would never serve a steak like this. Chucks has been in business as a steakhouse for 40 yrs for 1 reason, they know steak. The steak I was served wouldn’t even be found in local supermarket. Big Y would be ashamed to have such a steak. I will not go back here and recommend that if you are going out for steak this is NOT the place to go. This restaurant actually shares a Kitchen with Rocco’s and I suspect the chef doesn’t have a clue what a steak is. I would have liked to be writing this saying I found a great new steakhouse, but that is not the case. I will say the atmosphere, the wait staff, and the music was great. The other seafood meals the others had were very good. So in summary if they can get their steak issued resolved and if they do, I will gladly let you all know.

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Appetizer of was wonderful. Had the bacon cheeseburger and it was absolutely deliciou. My companions had the chicken cordon bleu and the scallops and they raved about how wonderful it was as well as the filet mignon. I would happily go back there again.
