I’ve been going to eat and ordering for delivery for years. Delivery is pretty quick. Love their food !

A small place you can literally drive by and miss but surprisingly very well kept inside. Service was great and the food has never let me down. Great presentation. Great taste. Good timing with serving and seemingly cleanly. Nice environment for a small place as well. If you don’t catch any lunch specials etc the food can be a little pricey but if you want quality sushi in the Bronx i’d recommend this place and for that a well deserved 4 stars.

This place is great to enjoy some sushi at a decent price! You get 3 rolls for about $ 12 or so(lunch special) with a salad/soup. Staff isn’t too nice or sociable. Which doesn’t bother me much, since they only really come around to get your order and give you your bill. Definitely a go to spot for some quick sushi.

I’ve dined in once and I’ve ordered for delivery a few times. I must say this sushi place is very good. The restaurant was very cute and inviting. I really love the Red Dragon roll and the Chicken Tempura roll. I order both every time and then I switch up my 3rd/4th roll. As of now, the only thing I’ve tried that I do not like is their fried rice. It is very dry & mushy!(If that makes sense)

They were closed for a while, and while their new smaller space has a less«restaurant» and more of a pizza place vibe now, the food is better. The lunch special is the way to go price wise. The sushi is fresh and delicious. The portions are generous compared to that of Brooklyn or Manhattan.

I work close by this place and I love sushi in general, and even though they are«ok» I kept ordering because the delivery guys were really kind and nice. I called to placed a delivery order and this very unpleasant woman named Jenny got upset because I change my mind about my order. She was really rude on the phone and when I asked to talk to the manager she was like the«manager is not here», of course how convenient… And after she said«Just come over, I’m here and my name is Jenny» like treating me… really? for changing my order from 3 rolls to 2 rolls? Come on! you don’t treat customers like that. And what’s wrong with changing your mind? Customer is always right! I was ordering often but now I won’t call anymore. This is So upsetting. I’m paying for your services, at least be a little nice or pretend you are having a day woman! So unfortunate that there’s some people that think customer are not valuable, and then they’re wondering why they are running out of business. People don’t call for delivery with«Jenny», she might make you loose your appetite.

I’ve been here many times. They recently re-opened in the same location but half the space so no more Hibachi. Their sushi, soups(try Curry Pork Udon noodle soup), noodle dishes, teriyaki, desserts are all really good! I really like this place and I am so glad to have a good non-Italian option in the area. Please support them as we can’t afford to lose more dining options in Williamsbridge/Morris Park. The 4 stars I’ve awarded them are well deserved, and I’d give them the same if they were in Manhattan. The ambiance is good too– pleasantly dark, interesting colors.

This is my neighborhood sushi spot, and I must say it’s pretty good! The staff is always nice and polite, and I like the intimate atmosphere. I’ve only sampled about a quarter of the menu, but so far so good. Great place to catch lunch, or dinner with a friend.

I had a craving for hibachi the other day. I usually go to Yummi or Edo’s in Pelham Manor, however it was late and this place is near my house. So I walked over and ordered a salmon hibachi meal to go. My first bad inkling was that it was way overpriced. While I waited the hostess made small talk which was okay. There’s a small sushi bar in the back where a guy was chopping and preparing a lot of sushi. I was confused since there was only one other person in the restaurant at the time and it was close to closing. I don’t like sushi so I didn’t care either way. The décor is pretty decent with dim lighting and cliché Japanese décor. My food took a really long time which again confused me due to there only being one other person in there. I ended up walking around the block for a few minutes to kill time. There isn’t any waiting space in the actual restaurant unless you literally want to stand in the hostess booth. And by booth, I mean a 4×4 space with a cash register. When I got home to eat, I was sadly disappointed. There was just no taste and I could probably get better at some random diner. I gave two stars just because the sushi guy looked cool and the hostess was friendly. Won’t be going back.

I stopped by here earlier this week. To my surprise they now serve wine so that was a bonus… I had my usual shrimp tempura rolls, gyoza and miso and as always they never disappoint. I actually just order takeout and am waiting for my order right now…

Yes, I’m a fan but I do miss the days when they would put a little extra something in the order for you.

I come here for their lunch special all the time. Can’t beat 3 rolls for 11 bucks. Shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and salmon! If you ask them politely, they’ll also let you connect to their wifi.

There is no way people who said this place has fresh fish, actually know what fresh fish is. My mackerel was brown! my salmon had that limp wet horrid slimy consistency. All of my cuts were hacked. It was really disappointing. I worked the NE docks for three summers, I actually know fresh fish, and this crap wasn’t fresh at all. Oh yeah, and the place was dirty and cold. Not headed back again.

I was stoked when Kiraku opened in the ‘hood. Fresh fish, simply & cleanly prepared for reasonable prices. The portions were satisfactory and the famous vibe of Japanese hospitality was ever present. I used to enjoy going there for impromptu, casual sushi/sashimi dinners. At one point they even had Toro by request at the bar. Sadly, I can’t say the same knowadays. The quality and quantity has steadily decreased while the prices have shot up. The last time I ordered the sushi boat for delivery I was severely dissappointed. The fish was cut in a terrible, amateur fashion; as if the entrée was prepared by a 12 year old wielding a ginsu slashing away at scraps and trimmings. The portions were absolutely inadequate and as I said the cutting was awful. Terrible. Unprofessional. The itamae should be ashamed of himself. I called the restaurant to complain, the hostess apologized profusely and promised me that the manager would call me the next day. I never heard from them. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve eaten before and every time I have came here the waitress and people were nice to me. Very nice and I never had a problem. Also, I am a resident of the Bronx and besides Hawaiian Sea, there’s not many great sushi spots in this borough, unfortunately. So I’m being generous and giving it a 3 when I should give it a 2. Food: I don’t remember what I had but the times I have come here I hate my ass off with tons of different sushi and the stir fried rice. In short, it’s nothing to write home about but if you live in the area and don’t feel like going to far away to get really good sushi, then you won’t go wrong here. It’s not fantastic, its not great but I have experienced better… A lot better. Service: My experience with the people here like I mentioned, was always good. They were always nice and attentive and the service was always great. I have no complaints here. Décor: I would say this is my favorite part of this restaurant. It’s dimly lit, pretty big, and has a nice intimate atmosphere. There used to be a nice little pagoda awning out in front but that’s been taken down so it loses some points with me on that. The place still is very nice, has a «woods» like feel to it in a way and seems very clean. If you can imagine it, it looks like a discotque in the middle of a forest. The ceiling lights are multicolored and the rest of the décor has log paneling and all that stuff. Can’t explain it. Overall, its not the best place to get sushi but not the worst and nothing you’ll miss out on. One of my shorter reviews because I’m tired, very, very tired but felt the need to do a review.

Yeck. The good: super-fast pick up/delivery Lunch box(salmon teriyaki) The bad: Rolls have no flavor! When I get *spicy* tuna rolls, I want spicy tuna rolls. When I get rainbow rolls, let me get diff fish/avocados. No whimpy masses of fishy looking things with tiniest slivers of cucumber. Won’t be coming back.

Nice spot. Not bad at all. The lunch special of 2 rolls and a salad is good for $ 7.95. I’m not sure why I was the only one in the entire restaurant, but I enjoyed it. Its clean and service was fast and on point. I was literally in there for a total of 15 minutes. Ill be back.
