Accept it. Taken as what it is, a Yankee stadium concession stand, it isn’t bad… not quite as good as all the other Johnny Rocket locations but, still nice to have the option although the new stadium is offering up some interesting selections. Overpriced, and under itemized? yeah. they have a trimmed menu, and charge more; what do you expect?

Belly bombers at rip-off stadium prices. Lame fries. Good milkshakes though. What else do you expect from a fast food type setup at the stadium. A real hot honest to goodness tasty burger? Not! You can get a much better burger platter at the Hard Rock or even the Crown Donut Diner across the street. Also, viewing the ginormous calorie counts listed next to each food item on the menu makes me want to vomit. I tried it a few times here and vowed to not repeat that mistake on my future visits. My stomach felt like Alien was about to rip out of it afterwards. Not happy.

If your at the stadium you know you’re paying the prices when you grab your food but in this instance it just doesn’t seem that bad. It could be because unlike normal burgers these taste fresh are nice and thick and the sauce which is a trademark of johnny rockets is the perfect topping. The milkshakes are great too just don’t have them on a super hot day but you should know that already.

Milkshake was excellent. Except for the higher price($ 7) and smaller portion(1 serving instead of 1.5 servings), it was just like the restaurant version. Didn’t know they could make the shake so fast — it just shoots out of a machine. Didn’t try the burgers here, but in other Johnny Rockets, they ain’t anything to write home about. Five Guys is much, much, much better for burgers & fries. But I’d come here again for a shake during a hot game.

Okay, granted it was only the second day of its official opening at the new Yankee Stadium, but what a real downer. I can’t remember the last time I was utterly disgusted with such unprofessional service… that really teetered on the edge of absolute stupidity, disregarded customer respect, and came off as totally lazy and haphazard. On top of dealing with a staff made up of complete idiots, add a twenty-minute wait standing at the register waiting for a couple of burgers and fries(that were already paid for) that came out cold and mediocre(especially the fries!). Man, I just wanted my money back. Seriously, people. Johnny Rockets should take a step back and rethink its franchise strategy. They appear to be on a global frenzy to establish locations indiscriminately, even at amusement parks, and now at a baseball stadium. They should really consider sticking with locations where they can provide customers with an authentic professional sit-down atmosphere with real wait staff. Granted this Yankee Stadium location will probably do well simply because it’s «Yankee Stadium», but I guarantee the quality of the food they put out will be severely compromised because of low-caliber staffing and their inability to handle the volume of orders in an efficient way. Burgers and fries are meant to be eaten hot! At least that’s what I expect from a Johnny Rockets’ burger. Next time I’m at Yankee Stadium, I’ll try Famiglia Pizza or something else, but Johnny Rockets has lost my respect.
