This place was good! I ordered a veggie burger with fries, and my partner got the crab cake sandwich with fries. The fries were pretty good, thin and crispy and well seasoned. My veggie burger was delicious, it the patty was clearly made fresh, i took a peek and it had peas and other veggies visible. The grilled onions and peppers added a nice kick to the sandwich. I took a bite of my partners crab cake sandwich and it was superb. I’m originally from Virginia and am used to fresh, Chesapeake crab meat, and this certainly did not disappoint. The patty was thick and contained lump crab meat, with balanced seasoning. The mixed greens and aioli complimented the patty well. We will definitely be going back!

The food here is delicious! Came in the other day for the special which was the grilled wrap with braised short ribs, white beans, crispy onions and chimichurri sauce. Fantastic! My compliments to the chef. The food is great, staff is wonderful and they have a good selection of beers on tap. Please make this special a permanent menu item!

Decided to try out this local neighborhood joint on a whim while visiting some attractions in the area. We were overall underwhelmed by the experience.
First off, the menu selection proved to be extremely meager, both for the appetizers and the entrees. For the entrees, there were only 2 options for burgers, along with some basic sounding sandwiches and a steak option. I understand that this is a sports bar, but even with this qualification, the limited options seemed preposterous.
We ended up ordering the brisket chili as a starter, which came with a side of cornbread. The bowl was the size of a cauldron that could feed an army. The chili was palatable for the first couple of bites (perhaps because we were starving) but after the fourth spoonful, it became monotonous and nauseating.
In a belated effort to cleanse our palate from the chili, we ordered the shoestring fries, which was an unmitigated disaster. The fries were both terribly undercooked and limp. Deciding to skip on the entrees, we packed up our bags and made a run for the door.

If you’re looking for fancy comfort bar food delivered in Riverdale, this is your place. I’ve never had something I didn’t like. Scallop tacos? Yes. Pulled pork sandwich? Yes.

This is the place to go for a grown-​up burger. It’s juicy, served with shredded lettuce and a firm beefsteak tomato with crispy, well-​seasoned fries. Imaginative cocktails are available and they pack a punch.
The staff is friendly and the management is accommodating, they hosted a birthday party for us and it was a fun time. It’s one of our favorite spots.

Great service made my group’s bar night a success. There’s a good beer selection with local (and their own) craft beers. Very inviting and clean, with lots of TV’s.

Ordered a cheeseburger which was surprisingly basic. Think it could use maybe onions or special sauce? It was dry and bland. Hubby ordered pulled bbq sandwich. Sauce was too smokey and overpowering. Fries were hand cut and yummy. Service was fast and on point. I would still go back to try wings (saw someone’s plate — def had food envy) and it looked really good. Music was good too.

Good place to hang out in Riverdale. Bar flows onto the street with lots of locals and unusually good natchos

The other day I went to blackstone where I was greeted by our waitress Alexandra. Not only is she georgous, but she is an awesome waitress. Alex made us feel like we were at home! Gave us the best seats in the restaurant, checked up on us every couple of minutes. Because of Alexandra ’ s great customer service blackstone has just gained a bran new customer. Great job ALEXANDRA!

Good food good drinks excellent atmosphere, anyway Is a good day to watch a game or just munch on some food

Great burgers, great drinks, and the best staff in the neighborhood — hands down.

Moved to the neighborhood two months ago with my boyfriend and in that time we discovered this bar. Alex the bartender is amazing and so sweet. The food is delicious, which I would recommend to everyone. The staff and owner Steve are always so friendly and welcoming

Great place! The atmosphere is great, there’s space for people at the bar and for people to enjoy their meal in the back. The bartenders are very friendly and the owner cares a lot about his customers. Food doesn’t disappoint either!

This place is a great addition to Riverdale. The food is great and the staff is awesome, especially Alexandra… She rocks!!! They have daily specials and they’re always interesting. Come and check this joint out! You won’t be disappointed. Football Sundays are also good here.

This place recently opened up and I must say their food is delicious!
I had the house roasted turkey BLT and it was great. The turkey was thick (not sliced deli turkey), the bacon was crisp and their chipotle mayo actually had spice.
My colleague had the chipotle honey buffalo wings and he said they’re the best he’s had by far.
Definitely recommend a try to anyone in the neighborhood!

Place is great. They did a great job with the décor. The menu offers something for everyone and the quality of food is great. Great selection of drinks and beer and staff is very friendly. Good job.

Great bar, they managed to get the old man funk out that had previously permeated the place. Décor is great and the food was good. Menu is a bit limited, but everything we ordered was good. Fries are the best in the area!
