It was great time, staff was friendly the crown was good and food was greatt and had a hell of a package 4 bottles for 372!! will go again thank you for the experience.

Great food, drinks and ambience. Second time there and had same amazing service from Alex our server and awesome food. My first time there in March for my birthday and happened upon a comedy show which was hilarious, this time went for my girlfriend’s birthday for dinner and drinks which was great but the DJ came after midnight and we were there since 9 so decided to go elsewhere to continue the celebration!

Ok let me start off by saying Fabulous! This Experience was Awesome. I gave a surprise Birthday Brunch for my Cousin and boy oh boy was she Excited and Surprised! The Food was the Best! No one in my Party complained about nothing at all. We love the hospitality. Natasha Thank You! I am so Happy with the turn out! My name is Evelina and I look forward to returning again!!! And Again.
We were there to celerbrate my Cousin Birthday so we had reservations. As soon as we entered we were seated with no problems. Only one thing was promised on the menu that was not available for order. That would be the Black Linguini but everything elese was superb! I love the way they made the Menus with your name on them. The waiters that were serving us were very attentive at all times. The Churassco Steak was soooo tasty, the Crab Cakes were even better. And the dessert was Flan. It was too pretty. I never had this before but I will be ordering it again. Again Thanks to All the Staff @ Silhouette for everything!

Came to this place on Dominican Mother’s Day, a Sunday. You have to make a line before going in. It was a really good ambiance. It’s a day time club. They have someone coming around giving you unlimited mimosa or sangria. We paid $ 35 and they give you a menu where you choose an item from the top part and 1 item from the bottom part and in the end they give you flan. Music is very loud just like a club. I would recommend this place for birthdays and just to have a good time.

My husband and i came here on Thursday, ⁵⁄₅ for dinner.
Pros: Service, restaurant décor and food presentation. The skewer appetizer was tasty and impressive because it arrived on a clay type of pot over a fire. This was the first time I’ve had an appetizer with this type of presentation and it was very cool.
Cons: We used a groupon and several of the entrees were excluded from this deal. All of these exclusions were not listed on the groupon description but I did not want to start dinner off on a bad note so I just ordered from what they said was included. i got the paella which was beautifully presented but extremely salty. I didn’t really eat much of it and it was pretty disappointing. My husband got the churrasco which I found to be tough and bland. To top things off we were told that there was some problem with the new credit card system and we had to pay in cash.
I don’t think I would return to Silhouette for dinner. I may give them another chance but only for appetizers.

To Natasha C. We were there on 05/​07/​2016. My review wasn’t about any drinking Issues, it was about the rip off of the staff. Your staff wanted to force us to buy 3 bottles in order to stay in the place otherwise, we had to leave because the table were «reserved «. After we spend $ 250 on a dinner, that was the way we were treated when we were done with the food. We traveled all the way from Bk to try this new place. I don’t think I would be back.

I had my baby shower here a few weeks ago. The owner Natacha is Amazing she is very sweet and very attentive and she amaze me how much she is hands on with all aspect of planing your event from décor to food to amazing service. She even went out her way to take me to a place where I was a able to pick out the flowers and few theme related pieces. Saturday the main part of the venue was in my baby shower décor, The service was on point very attentive and very polite. I highly recommend this place for your event the price included 3 course meal plus décor which is amazing saves a lot of time, money and headaches of having to plan an event at a venue where you the one who have to get Dj, food, décor and ect ect. I look forward to the upcoming new location opening in Dyckman!

Someone I know is there today and AGAIN no coffee there. Hahaha only brunch with NO COFFEE!

I hosted my son’s first birthday at Silhouette yesterday and it was an amazing party! I am so deligted by everything– the event space, staff, event coordinator, food– you name it– it was on point! I had looked at several venues but as soon as I visited Silhouette and spoke to the event coordinator, I knew this is where I would host my son’s birthday. Why?
1. Event coordinator (Natasha) and her team– Fantastic people! Very responsive, organized, they take your event VERY seriously, and are detailed oriented. They made me a stress free mom– I provided them with some event supplies (frames, photos to place in the frames, party favors, etc) and I showed up and the place looked impecable! I didn’t have to worry about coming in early to setup or staying after to clean up. They made it happen!
2. Food/​drinks — PERFECTION! All of my guests, including the children, loved their tasty meals and staff kept coming around to refill guest’s glasses with delicious mimosa and sangria
3. Event space– it’s huge, beautiful, and clean.
4. Parking– how many places in traffic dooming NYC offer this for your event at no cost?
We loved the space, food, and service so much that we are already planning our next event there. Thanks to the entire Silhoutte team for a memorable experience for our son, us, and all of our guests.

My review is based on dinner.
We went here because I have been wanting to go for a while. I have been here before for the club (too crowded but the atmosphere was great), and since there is always a Groupon for this place, we got it and went on a Thursday night after work. I love the decoration, it looks very elegant. When we got in, there were a group of teens celebrating a sweet 16, which did not bother me, but all they were doing is taking pictures everywhere and being loud. We had to wait about 15 mins to be seated and the place was like 80% empty. Anyways, we both ordered a steak we had drinks while we waited for the food. My partner had some alcohol (forgot the name) on the rocks and he noticed that it was watered down. My drinks were okay. nothing special. My partner ordered the steak medium rare and I had the same but well done… well his came well done as well. I have to say that we did not like the steak, it was very bland and we both ate like half of it and left it. My partner mentioned to the waiter what had happened to his steak and the chef gave him a complimentary desert (did not taste good).
Anyways I do not think we would be going back there for dinner.

I had an amazing time! I was there to celebrate my B-​day on ³⁄₁₉.
I arrived and was seated to my table immediately.
The waitress was a sweet girl (I cant remember her name) but the service was fast. We also had hookah and the service on that was great and fast and it lasted a long time.
At first I had reservations for bottle service for a large group but some changes had to be made b/​c my group got smaller last minute; I called and spoke w/​Natasha and she was able to change the reservation that same day with no problem. The DJs were great playing every genre. Music was good; drinks were good.
So happy they were able to make my B-​day hassle-​free. Overall a great place to dance and celebrate the B-​day. I will be back for sure to party some more and I will be back to check out the food.

Went on a groupon and I’m glad that’s why we went because I’d be giving it a 1 star if I had paid full price. Ordered the skirt steak (Churrasco) and it came with this «house sauce» on it, even if it was good, which it wasn’t, I don’t want it in my steak without knowing about it. Won’t return for food, might consider going back on a Sunday night when all the Chiapiadoras are out at least you’ll get a good view. Drinks, which they might as well give you in a shot glass from how small the cups are, are weak and way overpriced.

Came here on 2 occasions… DINNER&BRUNCH.
Let me start with DINNER… The restaurant’s décor was club type atmosphere and dark. I came here at 6: pm on a Wednesday. It was kinda empty with 2 other groups. I ordered a Tuna tartare… and it was delicious!
For my entrée I ordered the Flounder stuffed with shrimp&Crab and veggies (it was OK). I had two cocktails (Margaritas), which were WEAK.
Now for the BRUNCH!
Prior to BRUNCH ($ 35.00)+(Tax)+(20%Gratuity)I paid a deposit of $ 50.00 in cash to secure a table. We arrived at 12:50pm and there was a hefty line outside. It was very disorganized. There should be 2 lines one for paid deposits and one for walk ins.
Instead of seating my party of 4 girls at a table, they sat us at the Bar?! WTF! I paid to be seated at a table not the bar! Then there’s this A-​Hole trying to enforce you to check your costs at the coat check that you have to pay for$ 3!
They give you 3Course Pre-​Fixed BRUNCH… It felt as if we were at a big Dominican Wedding! It’s very dark and congested. They only have 2 Stalls in the women’s Bathroom for 100 women!
The Drinks-​Mimosas (Mostly OJ) Sangria (Mostly Ice) were Very-​Very WEAK!
They also have a DJ which is Blasting Music, and was pretty good with mixing a variety of music.
ALL IN ALL… would I COME BACK… Absolutely NOT!

This place deserves 3.5 stars. The restaurant serves food until 9:30pm.Once the kitchen closes, it becomes a lounge. As you walk in, there’re 4 long couches in the center of the place, with small tables setup alongside them. On the left wall are the private booths;id say theyre good for seating 4 people comfortably. Then theres the larger table all the way in the back for larger brunch and birthday parties. The bar is on the right wall;its a good size considering the entire place isnt that big.
The first time i went was on a valentines day, which happened to fall on a saturday. Due to the congestion of so many people, that night everyone had to order from pre-​fixe menu. The options were minimal, and when the food arrived, it tasted like shit. I dont remember what we ate, and its not a memory im hoping to recover. After we finished our food, and our tables were flipped over and taken away, the place started to slowly get more packed. Despite all the people, we were still having fun. The dj was playing a good mix;too much trap music, but still good. After my neighbors’ girlfriend and little sister came through, thats when we really started to turn up. It happen to be the birthday of one of them, so i had to show her extra attention. We danced a lot and didnt leave until the place shutdown. I was very satisfied with Silhouettes that night.
The second time i went, it was for dinner. I was hoping this time the food would blow my mind away. Unfortunately that wasnt the case this time either. For appetizers, my friend ordered Calamari. It wasnt bad; nicely fried, not too oily, and not small. It lacked a little flavor, but nothing some lemon or sauce couldnt fix. I ordered Empanadas, which were satisfying; 1 chicken and 1 shrimp. I wish the order had been more than just 2. The empanadas came with a mayo-​ketchup sauce that we used for the Yuca Fries; it was delicious. I wish all restaurants served that sauce. The yuca fries werent bad; crispy and full of yuca inside. For entrees, she ordered Tilapia, and i ordered Churrasco with Moro Rice. According to her, the tilapia was disgusting. My churrasco was also nasty. I ordered it medium well, but it came out super well done. First time i order churrasco and it doesnt come with the garlic/​chimichurri sauce on top of it. The rice was whatever, not good enough to cover up the taste of the churrasco. Afterwards, we decided to share a Tres Leche cake. Again, not bad, but nothing memorable. At least it was presented all pretty and stuff. I have to say that the only extremely satisfying part was the Piña Colada. Of course i ordered it virgin. Goddam, i havent tasted a Piña Colada like that in a long time. It was so sweet and delicious, prepared only with ice cubes; none of that watered down slushy crap. I ordered a 2^nd one. Even my friend ordered 1 after tasting mine. Overall, if you go before 9, the place wont be packed. Considering it isnt too loud or packed at that time, the décor and dim lighting makes it ok for a date. Thanks to my groupon, the entire experience wasnt a failure. However, i dont care for ever returning for dinner.
The 3^rd time i went was solely for the lounge. Ever since dancing here on valentines day, i had been considering hosting my birthday here as well. When i had come only for dinner, i was actually checking the place to see which table i would reserve for my birthday. So i asked the hostess for the prices of bottle service. At first it sounded good when she said $ 375 for 3 bottles, champagne, and a complimentary dessert. When i asked how much table space that would cover, she told me a ¼ couch; clearly not enough for my 12 guests. Then when i asked how much more i had to spend to get a full couch, she told me the 3 bottles at $ 375 and five more additional bottles at full price each one; thats outrageous for a place in the Bronx, so i just decided to stick to the $ 375 birthday package. The night of my birthday, i thought it was bullshit that i had to wait on line with everyone else, even though i already had made reservations for bottle service. It was chilly that night; the bouncer couldve at least let my female guests wait inside. Once we finally made it inside, there was a mix up. The girl who had written down my name when i made the reservation, wrote down «Dennis» instead of my actual name. So the hostess was quick to say «Sorry but you never made a reservation with us». Thank god the issue was resolved immediately. Afterwards i was told there were no couches available, so we were given a standing table instead. I didnt like the fact that the standing table barely came with any chairs for at least my female guests. But we made the best of it. The 3 bottles was sufficient for all my guests. Some of my guest ordered a few hookahs. Even though the waitress never brought my champagne bottle or complimentary dessert, I definately enjoyed myself that night and danced with every woman around.

Good food, nice place, bad location. It’s next door to a bank and pet store. I went with a groupon and had an enjoyable time taking my mom and grandma out for a Pre mothers day dinner. We stayed late as it turned into a club and they turned down the lights as we were eating. I probably wouldn’t return if I didn’t have a deal.

If you’re Dominican or Puerto Rican and a fan of turning up on a Sunday at 1pm like it’s Friday at midnight then Silhouette is your spot! Came here to hang out with some buddies at their behest for brunch and some drinks. We came early (which I thought was unnecessary but boy was I wrong) Silhouette opens at 1pm for brunch, my crew and I got there around 12:30pm thinking it was already open and a line was already forming. We were second in line only to see that by the time the place was ready to open there was a line down the block! as soon as we walk in the DJ starts pumping Reggaeton like it’s a new year’s bash!
This place is a club masquerading as a brunch spot on sundays’ but you know what your getting into when you come to a place like this on a sunday for brunch, you’re not exactly going for the food but you are there for the ambiance, music, and to turn up on a Sunday! The place makes you feel like your late night clubbing because all the windows are blacked out so you can’t tell what its like outside kinda of like a casino.
The food is decent when considering all the factors, they offer you unlimited mimosas or sangria and one appetizer, one main course and a dessert for just $ 34. I got the Huevo Boracho for an appetizer which wasn’t bad. Main course was Ropa Vieja (shredded slow cooked beef) with rice and beans, this dish was also average and for dessert I got the tres Leches Cake which was the best dish I got that day and boy it was delicious.
The food was ehhhh but the atmosphere was awesome, they had bartenders going around giving shots to whomever had a birthday, they had huge birthday signs for you to hold and take pictures with (great for all social media folks and great way for them to get people to come back) so yea if you are coming for the food don’t but if you want to party on a weekend afternoon, this is the place to be.

Décor/​Atmosphere: ⁴⁄₅ Very Pretty Inside. White Seats (Some Were A Bit Dirty Looking Though) Seems Like It Would Be Very Large Inside But Actually It’s Pretty Small But Still Good Spacing. They Played Mostly Spanish Music But Definitely Threw In Current R&b/Hip Hop As Well As Throwback music.
Service: ⁵⁄₅ We Had 2 Different Servers (1 Man, 1 Woman) The Man Took Our Orders Very Quickly Which Was Good. He Was Very Attentive And Friendly. The Woman Refilled Our Drinks She Was Very Funny And She As Well Was Very Attentive
Food: 4.5/5We Had A Prix Fix (sp?) Menu. We Were Offered Unlimited Sangria And Mimosas For 2 Hours .We Each Chose One Appetizer And One Entrée And Then We Got A Dessert As Well. I Chose Calamari For My Appetizer. It Was Basic But Good. Then I Had The Skirt Steak With Rice And Beans And Side Salad. The Dish Was Pretty Tasty. For Dessert It Was Listed As «Chefs Creation» But They Didn’t Tell Us What It Was. I Suspect It Was Some Type Of Flan I’m Not Sure Lol, I Wasn’t A Fan Though. Every Dish We Got Was Nicely Presented.
Edit: décor/​atmosphere: It Was Pretty empty For A Friday Night. Around 11 They Start Clearing Tables And Chairs Replacing Them With Those Little Lounge Tables. But They Didn’t Bother Us At All. Then It Turned Into A Lounge Setting. Hookah, Flashing Lights. Very Fun. Our Group Got Everyone In There Dancing.

So my husband and I were looking at different restaurants in our area for a small intimate wedding. I remembered Silhouette’s from a previous event that I did there. We had the honor to meet with the owner Natasha and she invited us for a small tasting to introduce us what they offered for weddings. My husband is a very picky eater and to my surprised he loved the food. For appetizers we tried their chicken and beef empanadas, and their chicken and steak skewers. For the main dish my husband had the grilled chicken with mash potatoes and I had the salmon with spinach and potatoes. The food presentation was beautifully plated. The food tasted yummy and we were so impressed with the place and food that we decided to have our small August wedding there.
The day of the wedding was wonderful. It was on a Sunday from 7pm til 11pm. They decorated the place with beautiful flowers and floating candles inside the vases. We were very impressed with the customer service they provided to our guest. The staff were very friendly and attentive to all of us. Everyone had a great time. Thank you Silhouette for making our wedding day a memorable one.
Overall experience was WONDERFUL and the food was AMAZING!
