Pizza is rubbery, far too thin, the sauce is flavorless and the crust was the only good part. The people are nice though. Pizza sucks

it was my fault for calling this place for the first time without knowing I should have read the menu because THEYPUTMAYOONITALIANSUBS… its also my fault for not reading Unilocal reviews that could have informed me of their strict policy against remaking orders… I should have known that when I walked in there and saw 5 workers with nothing to do that it wasnt gonna be worth a tip

The Milano Special pizza is the best local pizza in all of Boston. I’ve tried a dozen pizza places in the area, and have been disappointed. I honestly gave up and got in the habit of ordering Dominos. Then Milano opened. They’re just excellent at what they do. The Boston Fries are awesome, the pizzas have the perfect ratio of real mozzerela to sauce and the kind of crust you want to dip in something.

The staff is super super nice! I once ordered online to the wrong address and they were so nice about it came right to my other house and the guy was pleasant the whole time– I obviously over tipped in that situation. The pizza is great that is all I have tried– the only one that was bad was the buffalo chicken but otherwise I love them!

Before explaining my complete disappintment with the pizza I received, I’d like anyone who orders from this place to know that if you get the wrong item, they will not try and offer you a replacement or refund, Neither when you ask for one! Now about the 2 pizzas that I’ve ordered from this place, the delivery took longer than expected and also my pizza was cold. Very. Cold. Beware that most of the toppings on their pizzas are first fried it bread crumbs! And they don’t even tell you that! Not on their menu and neither when you order. So let’s say if you order buffalo chicken pizza, it is FRIEDINBREAD! Which just tastes nothing like chicken! Also, I got eggplant pizza, which to my surprise and unlike any other pizza from anywhere else, the eggplant topping was also breaded! If I wanted«eggplant parmigeana, I wouldn’t have ordered it on a pizza, I would have just got a roll! Also, I don’t know what they fry these toppings in, but I swear besides being spicy, the buffalo chicken topping tasted exactly like the fried breaded eggplant(or whatever that was!).

Visiting Boston for a concert and always forget about most food places close early. Ordered a plain pizza, steak and cheese, and mac & cheese bites. Steak and cheese– A little dry but very filling. Roll was soft and cheese was melted well. Fried onions were tasty. 4⁄5 Plain Pizza– Thin crust and well done. Reminds me of my local shop growing up. Had the«corn meal» dusting on the bottom of the crust. 4⁄5 Mac and cheese bites– Were not very crispy and definitely came from a frozen bag. At over $ 1 a piece not worth it. 2⁄5 Overall a great place to order. Delivery was a little while, but expected for an after midnight delivery.

Delivery took 1.5 hrs(was told 35 –45 minutes). When it was finally delivered pizza was cold and tasted terrible. Never again.

I gave this place a number of tries but this last one really takes the cake. I ordered a lemon, chicken, and rice soup(ordered it many times before) and when it arrived I immediately noticed it smelled funky. Upon tasting it, I discovered that it had gone bad, was rotten and disgusting. It was very clear that the soup had been reheated over and over, this time in the very same plastic container in which it was delivered. When I called, the girl on the phone was insanely rude to me, didn’t even apologize, and told me a different chef made the soup that day(as though she actually expected me to believe that). She wouldnt even offer me a refund, and insisted I go through the company I ordered it from. The other items I ordered, by the way, were ice cold. Never again.

Their shawarma was not really a shawarma and the second time we gave them a try they got our order wrong. Not cool.

Places like this make living in the frozen hell of Boston tolerable. Great delivery service, haven’t tried the pizza yet though.

One Word. DISAPPOINTING! I tried this Place for the 1st time, & it will be the Last. The Food, when it was Delivered, was Not hot, which was inexcusable. I ordered the Cheeseburger Sub, Mozzarella Sticks & Peanut Butter High Pie. The Pie was partly still frozen, the Sub & Mozzarella sticks had little flavor. Never Again Milano’s

dear milano, no matter what I order, your food is delicious. you’ve never had an «off night». you’ve never messed up my order, you are open late, you deliver super SUPER fast, you are the best. one night I cheated on you with another pizza shop, and when they toyed with my heart and left me waiting an hour and a half for a pizza that never arrived, you were my knight in shining armor. I called you up late at night and within 20 minutes you greeted me at the door with a delicious dinner. I promise never to stray from you again. sincerely, the apartment that orders from you at least three times a week(we like to call ourselves«milano VIPs»)

Really, really, REALLY good Italian pizza! I have friends from Italy who would be in raptures over this place. The menu is huge; they have some interesting combos in addition to the classic build-your-own. Prices are in line what you would pay for«fast food» pizzas, maybe a tad more, but the difference in taste and overall eating experience is huge. They also have lots of non-pizza things, although I haven’t tried any yet(but I’ll be back!) Plus, they’re open late and they deliver; who could ask for more? :) Update: I have now made a fairly good sampling of the menu, and everything I had was TODIEFOR. I dream about this food.

The food is good but the service sucks! Specially during lunch times, the blond girl in there is really nice but the man that picks up the phone acts like you bothering him, they stare and ask you question in a demanding matter just rude! For this reason I won’t be buying lunch from here any more!

It is open late. There, that’s the most positive thing I could think of. The pizza’s are dripping with fat and lack proper taste. I’ve tried cheese pizza and pepperoni pizza, but couldn’t really distinguish the two in terms of how it tasted. Also, the Ceasar Salad I once ordered came without chicken, or egg, or parmesan or the proper dressing. It was just lettuce with weird-tasting pieces of baked bread and garlic sauce. Not returning here soon for a late night meal.

After 5 years of searching in the Allston/Brighton area, I have finally found the perfect pie. I always order delivery from this place on nights when I am feeling exceptionally lazy and while it can sometimes take a little longer than you are quoted, it is always worth it. The pizza is wicked good and the pasta is homey. I recommend the margarita pizza(thin crust and fresh cheese) or the eggplant parm(not too cheesy and the breading on the eggplant is light).

I really like the pizza here. I’m a thin crust, light sauce kind of pizza fan and this place does it well. I was a little surprised by the prices the first time I ordered, but it really is worth the quality although I couldn’t afford(financially or health-wise) to order more than once or twice a month. I like the Philly Steak pizza — onions, green peppers and garlic steak. We’ve ordered the mozzarella sticks as a treat and they were so crispy outside and gooey inside — yum! They charge $ 1 to use a credit/debit card, and $ 2 for delivery so I always make sure I have cash and walk the half-mile to go pick it up. I once placed an order online using the Eat24/Yelp app and Milano didn’t receive my order until 20 minutes after I placed it — I was standing at the counter showing them my confirmation email when they finally got it on their end. Not sure if they just didn’t check the system or it really took that long to go through, but I was paying cash so not a huge deal. There are a few small tables but I’ve never seen anyone eating there, just waiting for their food.

My roomie and I needed something delicious delivered at 12:30 am. I checked Foodler for places that were still delivering, and saw that Milano Pizza was suggested and had high stars. I decided to check out the menu, and I am sure glad I did. We decided a calzone sounded perfect. I ordered a large, hoping to share between the two of us. We ended up with enough to feed the two of us and lunch for tomorrow. We added pepperoni and onion as toppings. I asked for extra marinara and we got two cups of yummy, fresh testing marinara sauce to dip our ginormous calzone into. We also got some waffle fries that were still crisp upon delivery. My only complaint would be the price to add onion as a topping on our calzone. Pepperoni, $ 1.75 is good. But for onion? I would think something like $ 1.00 is more reasonable. But that’s just a small complaint. The food is well worth the price. Delicious!

This place is great! I ordered a pizza before realizing I had left my wallet with my fiancée who was out of town the rest of the night. I explained the situation to the the folks at the counter and they simply gave it to me! The chicken parm pizza was fantastic. Really great red sauce is a highlight. I also had a slice of buff chick when i went back to pay them the other day and that ones great too! 5 stars for great pizza and a great staff.

Ordered the red sox sub which includes prosciutto and sausage. Sub had shaved sausage and ham. It was definitely tasty, but a 12 dollar sub should have the actual ingredients as advertisted. Next time I pay 12 dollars for a sandwich I’ll be taking home an Italian with imported meats/cheeses from the north end. Taste was good, but for the price, and the fact that they advertised prosciutto and served me ham, I can’t say I’d be running back to give them business.
