The best Pizza in Bridgeport. The pizza is always consistent and always delicious.

I give 5 stars for the Pizza. Hands Down, my favorite. I prefer it to Pepe’s/The Spot pizza. Thin crust. rich sauce. just enough cheese, not too much. The customer service is terrible. Bad attitudes in the front of the house as well as the back of the house. But I keep going back for the pizza, even if I don’t go for a couple of years, I still have to return. Been going there on and off for 30 years… I’ll still go back and you should too, just be warned that you don’t eat at Vinny’s for the hospitality or ambiance.(just the hostility and ambivalence)

The best pizza around. The reason pizza taste different when you bring it home is because the box traps the moisture and changes the crust. I bring Vinnys home in the oven @ 325 for 10 minutes and just like new. Chicken franchise is best anywhere, trust me

I loved the place, great food but the server took too long to give us our bill so we had to wait a while after done eating to get out, she was sitting down the whole time were were waiting. Other than that good job with the food!

Yes the place looks like it could use a facelift. I get that. It doesn’t look as fancy as Vazzy’s or Massimo’s. But it does have good food. I’d rather have good food over a fancy interior! The pizza is great! The dinners are huge portions– almost too huge for one person! Especially if you get a seafood pasta meal! My boyfriend grew up with this place and it’s become a dear memory for him. The whole staff knows him and his parents! They were just as welcoming to me too! Nicest people working there! Try the calamari! It was super tasty and not that nasty rubber texture you get when it’s not made properly! Oh and if you don’t get a pizza for dinner order a small one to take home! My boyfriend always has the best ideas! We’ll be going there until we move this year! My boyfriend already talks about how much he misses it! We haven’t left yet!

The food is great good taste quality fresh beautifully served. The atmosphere unfortunately not the best very dingy foggy gloomy place not best furniture a little upgrade would do a lot of good. The service is not the best the waitress look angry and confused not smiling and not very attentive to the costumers more like a truck driver dinner stop kind of service. Good food best if order to go.

Its our local hole in the wall. The prices are very reasonable. The slices are excellent. The dishes are OK. No delivery. No fine dining here. The place is in need of an upgrade.

Best Italian food you can get around and for a decent price. Vinny’s is a restaurant with character. It’s not your chain pizza restaurant and the food will remind you of that fact. Tender thin crispy crust, best olive oil, wine vinegar, meats, fresh veggies and especially the tomatoes they use for their sauce that tastes better than your mother’s. Try it. Vinny’s is not a fast food restaurant. Some dishes may take longer due to their fresh ingredients and preparation. So, have some wine and beer and chill for heaven’s sake. Your chicken parm will come out when it’s done and it’s worth the wait to have it all breaded and cooked fresh. I have to eat here once a week… We usually get a simple grated cheese pizza just to savor the fabulous sauce on the oh so delicious crust.

Not sure what I ever liked about this place as a kid… maybe just the company I was with. Anyways, went here a few weeks ago for dinner with a total of 10 people. That witch of a waitress(the mean old hag who has been there forever) had our table and was rude the moment we walked through the door. She was pissed off because we needed another 2 seats because there were only 8 and she basically told us that we were all too fat and need to slide down more because she can’t very well add another table. OK, whatever lady. We go on to order and she is rolling her eyes at everything we’re ordering. Gets to me, I ask for a peppers and eggs grinder. I asked her if they had egg whites and without looking up she says«you’re lucky you even get eggs at all». I was dumbfounded. About 20 minutes passes and everyone gets their meals except for me. Everyone is done and I finally track her down and she just says, «Oh the chef forgot to make your sandwich». Whatever lady. So god damn rude. The place is disgusting, I wish I never went back. Skip it and go to Tony’s, Vazzy’s or Testo’s. This place is the pits.

I have been going to this for years ever since I was a kid. The owners are old fashioned and keep the family business tight knit. There food is amazing and I have never been disappointed with any food choice. My favorite pizza is mushroom and bacon! We always have family birthday and get togethers at this place! My boyfriend who is a huge critic also states that the food is great!

Excellent food, miserable service! I love they’re pizza, grinders, pasta and basically anything else on the menu as I’ve been going here for 20 years. That being said sometimes I wonder why I put up with the fact that the owners are the rudest, nastiest people who have ever been involved in the food industry. It’s a shame because with the right customer service there would be no stopping this restaurant. My suggestion, takeout.

Food is ok and reasonable. The workers and owners have bad customer service skills. The old guys behind the counter dont even ask can I help you? They just look at you and then when you tell them what you want. They dont say anything back to you. You dont even know if they got your order right. They need to retire or sell the business. I have had better food in other places. The only time I stop there is if I am in the neighborhood. Its a wonder they have a business. They seriously need to go to customer service school if there is such a thing. It’s almost like you are bothering them to place an order. This place is not my first choice. Go to Massimos on Boston Ave. That is probably the closest pizza place that has wonderful food.

We’ve been to Vinny’s many times. Although I think their pizza is very good and better than most places, their employees and owners could be a little more customer friendly. Sometimes they give one the feeling that are tired of the business. Having said that, their prices are very reasonable and the Italian food is really good.

I’m not one to write bad reviews, but something has to be said about this place! First I go in and the to-go food that I ordered was poorly wrapped in tin foil, so that it would get cool instantly. The people were rude and very confrontational, everything that I asked was a hassle to answer or get me. I finally get the food home and its horrible! The salad was brown and soggy, the chicken pram was fatty chicken with wet yet stale bread. The only thing I can say was the calzone was ok. This is not the worst yet, with in an hour of eating their food, both my coworker and I were sick with stomach ache. DONOTEATTHERE! You will be giving your money to a jerk and guarantying your self a night of stomach pains! I would of given negative 3 stars if possible
