IHOP

Ok so i am a cook at this IHOP. But even being an employee there i have to say this is the best restaurant i have ever worked at and i have worked at a lot. I was working at McDonald’s in Clarksburg by Kroger and switch to ihop. My wife says that she can see the difference in my moods after work compared to how i was coming home in a bad mood everyday at McDonald’s. Ihop is the cleanest, good employees, and the first restaurant ive ever worked at where the boss gets back on the grill and busts ass all day. Best ran job i have ever had and the food is really good. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

This IHOP is pretty decent. The staff is just okay and the place could be cleaner. That being said, I’ve always had good food there. On this trip I got the Chicken and Waffles. I was a little disappointed with how small the chicken tenders were, but they were good.

Consistently good food and service. The Place is clean and modern. I’ve been here over 10 times and enjoyed every meal.

Our party had an excellent brunch consisting of pumpkin spice waffles multigrain pancakes and the basic buttermilk pancakes all were served hot and steamy with Several cups of coffee excellent excellent excellent

We have been here several times just love it very clean food is always hot ask for tabby the best server I think there she really cares

Never lets me down. Their iced coffee & hot cocoa are amazing. Love how they do their hash browns. Not a fan of their eggs since I ask for scrambled so I skip them. If you’re not wanting sweets though the stuffed French toast is amazing I’ll order the chicken fried steak with hash browns & side of gravy with a biscuit. Employees are always nice.

We visit here once a year. And each time is based on a previous, continuing, good experience. Not a bad one yet.
I’m a foodie, but not a food snob. And I say that I am unabashedly positive about this particular location.
Not sure if this is a new thing or not, but the person who greeted us also seated us, and waited on us. It made so much more sense than the usual server/​greeter hot-​potato that is played at most restaurants.
We ordered without much fuss. The chicken and waffles sounded good to my wife. I ordered what was basically a spinach, bacon and cheese omelette on grilled sourdough.
If you put the food that came out of the kitchen on some nicer plates, in a trendier restaurant, you could easily have charged $ 4 – 5 more a dish.
The service was good, the food was good. All is right with the world.
5* for IHOPs, and a 4* «I’m a fan.» for this place.

We went here as our Thanksgiving dinner… We were not disappointed! They offered a turkey special, which we both opted out of. Instead, we were not met by waitresses complaining about the holiday, they were very optimistic and happy despite having to work today! That was a plus. Our orders were accurate and timely, and especially delicious. We left extremely satisfied. The place was extremely clean, modern, and comfortable. Definitely a great ihop to dine at! Heidi was our waitress and did an excellent job.

I was treated very well here. Had a wonderful waitress who checked in with me often even though was an extremely busy Sunday morning. Nothing to really complain about.

The first time I came here our waitress wasn’t very good. one person in our party wasn’t getting refills and was also missing items from his meal. The second time we came we had a different waitress and she was great and recognized someone in our group. The food and establishment seems to be a standard ihop.

Service was okay today ! The food isn’t as good as it used to be and I think they raised some prices.

Awesome Service. Typical West Virginian service: super friendly. Breakfast was excellent!

Fourth time’s a charm. Since their grand opening I have made four visits, somewhat equally spread out. They have improved GREATLY. My first two visit would have net a two-​star review. Service, food taste, crumbs on the floor. The third visit was better, but the waitstaff was not very professional, overly made up and perfumed.
This visit was great. Extremely clean floor, table and seating area. We were seated in a booth in the middle. The waitress seem very professional and was patient to give us more time with the menu, but had the coffee and my double hot chocolate on the table fast. My husband reported that the coffee was good (he pouts about the Greenbrier changing their coffee, so this is not something he makes idyll remarks about). The hot chocolate was average.
I went with the strawberry banana danish crêpe and bacon.
I give the taste a B+ and presentation a B+. The bacon was a sad little plate with two crispy strips sliding around on it. Taste: A-​. Presentation D. How do you make make bacon look good on a plate? Who really cares. It’s bacon and let’s face it it doesn’t stay on the plate for too long anyway.
My husband had the ultimate bacon and sausage combo. Pancakes taste: A
The past three times I have been there I noticed someone always sweeping the floor with a little portable broom ‘bissell’ type machine. Not this time. Which was a good thing. Everything looked really tidy and clean. Even the syrup dispensers were nicely labeled and un-​drippy.
I was happy to notice that our booth did not have the quaint little «interrogation» lamp directly overhead that so many of these AppleBee inspired restaurants seem to have. The window seats had them, but they are positioned up high enough so you don’t feel confessional.
I also made a trip through the bathroom before leaving and it was clean.

Its Saturday morning and it’s busy. We’re here … and haven’t seen anybody for 10 mins… Finally someone came and after a few our drinks came out…
In the end, it was ok… busy, a little loud, and better than junkfood on a long trip…
