I come here a lot — if my «go to» grocery store(Aldi) doesn’t have a particular item, or if it’s late at night and we need cat food /dinner stuff /etc, I usually end up at Pathmark. Pretty standard grocery store, here. You’ve got your meat department, your pharmacy, isles of food & beverages, and a dairy section. Yup, it’s a grocery store. Prices are about on par with other local shops, the quality of the meat is about the same — average. Produce here is very hit or miss, generally erring on the side of «miss». More times than I’d of liked, the produce was either crazy under ripe, a tad overpriced, over ripe, or a combination of those. maybe I’m just spoiled by the local Shoprite and their incredibly fresh /inviting produce dept. That’s really about it. When coming here, I’d say that later is better. The few times I’ve come here before 6 or 7PM, the self checkout was packed to the brim with people who have no idea how to form a cohesive line, and then compounded the problem by having no clue how to operate the registers. I’ll never understand why these folks don’t just use the normal checkout lanes.
