Yay! FINALLY a real Mexican food place in Bremerton! Being born and raised in the Southwest where there is a Mexican food place on just about every corner, I’ve come to appreciate the authenticity of real Mexican food… and a drive-thru! We moved here over a year ago and I’ve tried countless Mexican food places. Juanito’s hits the spot! We had the California Burrito(carne asada), cheese quesadilla for the kids and the chimichanga(carne asada). We were all thoroughly pleased with the flavor and serving size. The gal who took our order was incredibly sweet and even offered to give us lidded cups for the kids. When they forgot to add guacamole to my burrito, they were super nice about it and brought out a huge bowl of it! We’ll be going back for sure!

Had a taco salad here a few weeks back. Lots of lettuce, not a lot of meat or other stuff. Didn’t care for it. My friend had soft tacos and enjoyed them along with the rice & beans.

Tasty tacos. I prefer the pork tacos even though they’re a little greasy. They have a great fresh salsa to bring some heat and their jalapenos are a must add. I’m not a fan of their beef at all. The flavor isn’t there and the meat is super tough. I also did not like their California burrito. The fries are not crispy enough to stand up to the burrito and everything just tasted starchy and gross. In any case, stick to their tacos and add a side of jalapenos and you’ll have a great meal.

It is so great to have somewhere to go to get food like I grew up with in Southern California. Truly the most authentic Mexican food I’ve found in Kitsap County.

Yasssssss! I’m a California native and was sooooooo disappointed in Washington Mexican food until I met sweet, sweet Juanito’s. Upon first glacé, you might mistake this for a dingy hole in the wall you’d see in a Quentin Tarrantino movie. You might even make the mistake of passing it by… I warn you not to. The burritos here are borderline erotic. The carne asada is seasoned beautifully and the tortilla is thick and flaky like real homemade tortillas. Salsa is fresh and spicy and guac is legit! I’m honestly glad I live a little bit away from this place as I’m sure I’d suffer a massive health issue if I lived in a one mile radius of its holiness. Nachos??? Oh, girl, yes. These nachos tell your mouth who is boss like Tony Danza. Once you have had these nachos every other nacho well seem trivial. It’s not going to be your gigantic Kitsap County nacho buffet plate, but it still is an amazing portion and again the flavors cannot be beat. I don’t know who Juanito is, but he is about to get all my money! If Barrack Obama was looking for great Mexican food in Washington, I’d say… JUANITO’S If Clint Eastwood wanted a burrito to make his day, I’d say… JUANITO’S If Jesus was craving nachos, I’d say… JUANITO’S Seriously… Giving someone this delicious food then telling them they could never have it again would be considered torture by the Geneva Conventions. It’s THAT real y’all.

Picked up Juanito’s last night via their drive thru. Everything was good and I’m still in love with their salsa however the guacamole was bizarre. It was more like avocado soup than guacamole. It wasn’t awful just different and a bit salty.

Call the order in! Yummy little hidden gem. CA burrito is bomb. Carne asada in it is so flavorful. The salsa they make is delicious and very spicy — love. Breakfast burrito is meh. Carne asada fries were delicious as well. They have a drive-thru, inside and outside seating.

Food was amazing!!! I had the chicken burrito with a side of beans and rice… I have to say, it tasted like San Antonio in a wrap!!! I’ve been trying to find authentic tacos and burritos I have finally found them. I can’t wait to come back for more!

Pretty good, we tried the carne asada fries, cabeza, chicken and asada tacos, rice & beans, & their jalepenos. Definitely recommend getting at least one of their jalepenos! Recommend tacos, but rice & beans are just meh. Not sure it is worth a special trip but if you’re in the area, or want a far superior drive thru experience than fast food, I’d say definitely give it a try.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat around here. I’ve been going to Juanito’s for a few years now. I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is just too good to complain about anything. I recommend this place to all my friends and everyone loves it. The adobado pork is the best meat option here but they’re all delicious. Also, try the jalapeños if you handle a little heat.

I’m a born & raised San Diegan. San Diegoan. San Diegoite? SanDiegaaaaan. And this is the only authentic SoCal taco shop I have found in the PNW. I nearly cried when I saw they were closed today. Today is a Sunday. Do not go on Sunday. Feel free to «charge extra» for my pickiness, Juanito’s. I don’t mind your cocky attitude thinking your burrito can somehow get me to like lettuce or sour cream, which I despise. I’ll order without said offending items, and I won’t feel bad if you judge me. Just please, make me more sopes. I feel like I’m home. Go here. Go here and enjoy.

Being from L.A. This is the most legit place in the PNW at least to me. Tortas are to die for the bread is perfect.

I have to say I agree with all the other Unilocal!reviews, their carne asada fries are amazing, and I loved their chicken cali burrito. Food is up to par with San Diego Mexican, and that is almost unheard of in Washington. I love that they have a drive thru, great staff, and quick service. I’m thoroughly impressed and my family will be back.

Got the carne asada fries as other reviewers raved about it. Gotta say it was great! The portion size was enough to be a full meal for one hungry person. Recommend sharing it with a few other folks. The green salsa came on the side. It added a little kick, but not too hot to overpower the flavor of the guacamole and sour cream that was piled on top of the fried with of course, the carne asada. I’ve been to San Diego and I’m impressed with this little place way up here in Bremerton. Gonna go back to try the burrito next time.

Basic no frills So Cal style Taqueria. My sons first real food was rice and beans from my daily special at Juanitos! Great people, decent food, low cost, what the heck else do you want? If your looks for great tacos, burritos, and Asada Fries then this is the place to be!

Easily the best San Diego type Mexican food in the Kitsap peninsula. Had this place been in San Diego I would give it 3 stars though. The guacamole isn’t the real deal. They don’t use the right kind of fries for the carne asada fries either. Right now they are currently the best in the area though so there’s that. The wait is long since all the people from the Naval hospital are also looking for their SD taco shop fix that they either tried when they were stationed down there or living off their friends hype of the place. Unfortunately I don’t think the place will improve since they are doing so well from the previously mentioned hype train. Also the horchata is definitely sub par. On a positive note, the salsa is quite literally the best, it easily matches SD salsa!

Best place ever. Totally authentic. If you like spicy you HAVE to have the jalapeño. I’ve never had one prepared this good. Great little hole in the wall.

«Trust the menu» is written on their menu, and to say picky people get charged extra could offend some but I like it. I’m usually a discerning customer(code for picky) but I love to see owners stand by their food as listed. That’s a vegetarian saying that. I wasn’t disappointed, the authentic quality of the food made me want to make an Italian kissing noise and say«buenisimo!» which is strange since it’s mexican food, but you get it. It’s atmosphere is «hole in the wall» but hey I feel comfortable in my often just — off-the-trail clothes. You’ll eat and then wish you ordered more not because you’re still hungry, because it’s so good. Seperately, just before coming here I was thinking about a personal paradox. I LOVE Mexican food but typically say yuck to their music, makes me think of dirty carnivals for some reason. Anyway, their music was great. It wasn’t the«clown music» as some people call it. Then I thought about the typical mexican music experience at other joints, how can I love their food but hate their music? So strange. The same creative faculties that produce delectable food create the music too right? They’re both arts, right? Maybe I need to give it another shot.

Really enjoyed my quesadilla for quick lunch stop. Very delicious! The music was a bit loud, but overall environment’s very friendly and laid back. I will come back and not just because i’m a Charger fan
