I’ll bite. I like this place. I went there today because my toddler needed some soft flexy shoes since he doesn’t walk as well in the bulky shoes they have everywhere. I was hesitant because the prices are high for shoes he will only wear for a couple months but I always try to give my son the best when I can. Anyway I found several cute pairs and after trying to find some that he would be comfortable in the last couple days everywhere else I was getting desperate. I was very happy to see him running and walking as soon as he tried the shoes at striderite on. So I bought them and I got a nice surprise of their 10 dollar off promotion for toddler shoes. The lady that helped me was also very kind and very patient. They may be pricey but they are good quality and the only luck I’ve had with comfy shoes for my picky kid. Thanks a ton!

My husband and I came here with our 9-month-old son to pick up his first pair of shoes. Overall, it was a decent experience. Customer service was good, but the store is TINY so they have a limited selection(they did not carry my son’s size in the first two shoes we wanted to try) and space is cramped. Also, items are pricy considering how fast kids grow out of their things. We did leave the store with baby shoes and socks, and my son does like his new kicks. However, I’m not sure I’ll return for later shoes… I’ll probably check out other places for better prices and a larger selection.

I visited this location today and I was extremely disappointed. While the staff was helpful and attentive they were out of stock on all four shoes I selected to try on for my son. Considering their high prices(avg. $ 49 dollars per pair) and given that they are specifically a kids shoe store I could not believe their inventory was so low for very average sneakers. The sales clerk offered to call other stores but again given the high cost of the shoes and the fact that thier store specializes in kids shoes, I didn’t want to drive to another location or wait for them to be shipped because my son was in need of shoes immediately. I walked across the mall to Vans and picked up a pair of cute shoes for half the price that they had in stock and they don’t even specialize in kids shoes! Sorry striderite you’ve lost my business!

I walked in and there were two other people needing to be helped. I needed to get my son some new shoes because he is just on the verge of walking and I wanted to make sure he had a good pair of walking shoes! I waited about 5 or so minutes which was fine because they have activity puzzle type things at toddler height to keep the kids busy. My son loved them. It also gave me some time to check out the shoes they offered. When it was my turn I told the salesperson I needed his foot to be measured and she did just that on both feet. She told me he was about a 6.5 but would recommend a size 7 to give him some room to grow. Which for me as a first time mom was good to know! Most of the shoes are pretty pricey, and the ones that aren’t pricey are not very appealing to the eye. The ones I bought came out to about $ 42 and the cheapest ones I saw were on sale for $ 25 I believe. This is for shoes size(1 – 8). I didn’t mind splurging for my little guy especially since the salesperson was really nice and I found out his shoe size! I probably wouldn’t go there again though…
