Ordered and paid for my meal on their new Panda Express app before my arrival. The app gave instructions to simply go to the cashier, tell them my name and pick up my bag to go. When I arrived, there were three staff members talking near the food. I walked straight up to the cash register, expecting that the staff would acknowledge me. While they did make eye contact, they continued to talk about other high school drama going on in their lives. I didn’t even receive a hello. After a solid five minutes, one staff member came over to me and asked if I’d like to try a sample. I declined and explained I had already placed an order. That prompted mass panic behind the counter and a supervisor was called to come out from the back room. The supervisor told me no orders were placed. I showed my order number and receipt on my phone and she scrambled to find a copy of the info from her end. I see her dig near the trash at a register by the stove top, and then she communicates to her staff to make the order. While she did apologize for the confusion, I give one star as the food is not that great, and my typical two-three minute trip took fifteen. Staff should be trained to greet customers. I will be avoiding this place.
