Papa John’s Pizza

The only pizza place that delivers good pizza around here. It is always hot & fresh. Lots of toppings & fast delivery. The delivery drivers have always been polite. I have experienced very scary delivery drivers from OTHER pizza places. So I appreciate them not hiring scary men to deliver pizza at night.

This review is based on comparison to other PJ pizzas. That being said, this is the absolute worst location I have ever visited, and I eat a lot of pizza.
I ordered delivery, and from the very beginning I was feeling irritated from talking to the rude voice on the other end of the phone. She made me feel like I was a bother, like she had better things to do than take my order.
The wait was a little bit longer than stated over the phone. Long enough for the Pizza to get cold. In addition to my pizza, I ordered bacon cheesy bread. They must be rationing bacon, because the cheesy bread only had 10 percent of what I was expecting (see photo).
Overall, I would have to say this is the absolute worst pizza chain restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. There is no way I will make this mistake again.

Our first pizza was cold and had discolored cheese with super hard crust, you could tell the pizza was a few hours old. We called the store and they said they would have a new one to me in 30 mins. An hour and 10 mins later our pizza arrives, it looked exactly the same and was not hot.

Asked to have my pizza ready by 4:15 walked in at 4:10 and it was hot and ready. My thin crust works pizza was 10 slices of pizza perfection. Crispy crunchy golden crust, plenty of gooey cheese, and the perfect balance of meat and veggies. The cherry on top is the staff! All smiles and great personalities. Wish I could experience these pleasantries everywhere I went. They even gave me a coupon for a free 1 topping pizza! I could go on but instead I’m going to have another slice lol

This place used to be good. What happened? Ordered a pizza Saturday night, quoted delivery time 30 to 40 minutes, actual time 56 minutes. Was warm. Barely. Called the store to complain and after the manager tried to blame cold pizza on the online ordering system, they offered to send out a remake. That arrived much quicker. Only problem: pizza was undercooked. I am not even going to bother calling back as the manager would probably try to blame global warming next. Do yourself a favor, grab a burger instead.

Quoted delivery time: 30 – 40 minutes. Actual time: 95 minutes.
And pizza is cold. And cheese bread is over cooked.
Solid oily cheese on a pizza. Gross. Calling them – spoke to ‘Kevin’ and NO efforts were made to fix things – a remake? Refund delivery fee? Etc would have gone a long way.

Never had a problem with delivery times from this location, that alone will earn you a star. I probably won’t have Papa John’s for months once the Buffalo Chicken pizza disappears again… but for now, PJ will keep getting my money.
