Wow! That’s Fresh

First time here. Had the roasted veggie pizza. I liked it alot. Big chunks of fresh vegetables, maybe a little too big on the zucchini, but they were fairly tender so no big deal. Love the goat cheese on this pizza. I’ll be back and plan to try different things from each section of the menu (burgers, dogs and salads). Super quick too which is greatly appreciated on my lunch break.

Addicted to the veggie pizza! Great service too. You get a fresh 10 inch pizza and drink for 6 dollars from 2 – 5. Can’t beat that.

All i can say i WOW!!! That Philly Cheese steak is awesome!!! Also, they are very accommodating to people that have allergies. The milk shake was also good, Strawberry to be exact. I would recommend this place to my friends.

Now that the new location has opened in Carrollwood, I have to say I like this concept a bit better than pdq. But, that is only my opinion.
I’m not often in the Brandon area but, I recently was so I stopped in to visit Wow. Personally anyone that knows me, knows I am a pizza freak. And I have to admit their pizza really surprises me for a fast food pizza. It is quite good and has the thin crust I’m looking for inadequate pepperoni and cheese.
I also love their grilled vegetables which makes for a very healthy lunch and or dinner option. I prefer to grow my vegetables at home and so being able to get him out so quickly and having them fresh is exceptional.
Anyone that knows me knows I do not frequent fast food restaurants accept on a rare occasion. I have to say that WoW has changed is because of some of the various offerings like the grilled vegetables.
The staff is wonderful very upbeat and the managers are always present and making sure everything is running correctly. Personal note on my side as I tend to get things to go because they have so many children that like to visit their locations. Hey I got nothing against kids, its just I prefer to maybe have acquired or meal when I’m going to eat.
I think that WoW is a very nice addition to pdq and the new Carrollwood location is equally as nice as the one in Brandon. I will continue to frequent them especially for the salads and vegetables, but that is because that’s the way I like to eat or should I say that’s the way I should be eating, hahaha.
What’s a girl to do? Trying find those veggies to eat healthy and this is a great way to do it, who would think it would be at a fast food restaurant.

It’s upgraded fast food (with a drive thru). The interior feels clean and bright, and they have a fancy soda machine. Food was okay, but they got my order wrong (no avocado, luckily they also didn’t bill me for it). They did my hamburger patty well done (perhaps noticing that I’m pregnant), so it was dry as a bone.
Fries are definitely better here than at PDQ.
It’s not a bad choice if you are about to watch a movie at the AMC Regency 20 and don’t have a ton of time for a meal. But there are better burgers to be had.

I went here for the first time today. From the beginning to the end of my experience, the service was exceptional. I proceeded to the drive-​thru, and ordered my food face-​to-​face with a very polite young woman. Upon learning my name, she even suggested a song with my name in it that she thought was great. Very personal experience! Then, I proceeded to the next window to pick up my food. The next young lady called me by name, double-​checked that I didn’t order a drink (I’m preggo, so I only drink water), and then promptly handed me my piping hot margherita pizza. The pizza itself was great. Very light, crispy crust, and obviously very fresh ingredients. I will definitely be back!

I was thoroughly impressed with this place! My first time there. Love the modern look. The whole set up is really cool with booths and tvs. The menu is cool and they have daily specials. They also serve beer and wine. Fast friendly service and good healthy options. I’ll be back!

I have been here several times for several reasons.
The staff is friendly and everything is face to face. Drive thru order is not thru the speaker & they always ask your name for that personal touch.
I have been trying to eat less processed food, so having a place like this seems to help me when I fail at packing my lunch… because I will totally get their White Albacore Tuna salad. I love it.
Now they also have things that aren’t as ‘healthy’, but regardless of what you get, it is as they are named. It IS fresh. Not sure why the name on here says wow that’s fast, because the sign says wow that’s fresh.
The toffee dip for the fresh apple slices is like dessert, the apples are put in orange juice (like my mom used to do) It keeps the fresh apple slices from browning.
The burgers may not look as large as you expect but trust me, it’s fresh & filling. The fries are fresh cut potatoes with the skins, like you would make at home. And as hardly any other drive thru food places (in Brandon) have hot dogs with sauerkraut, you can also get that here.
It is a place I will return to again often.

The reasons I like this place:
Yummy pizza and shake, cool soda machine, fast and friendly services, free Wi-​Fi, convenient location, reasonable pricing, clean comfy and modern looking dinning area. It’s a good place for the whole family to enjoy a relexing and satisfied meal.

What’s the name of this place? The menu and Unilocal calls it Wow Fresh and Fast, but the sign on the outside and the receipt says «Wow! That’s Fresh». People at the office just call it WTF. I see what they did there. This place is a step above the fast food chains like McD’s and BK in terms of price and quality.
Burger Bleu Chop Salad $ 7.99 — This salad was awesome! Probably not the healthiest, but very delicious. It comes with red onion, tomatoes, bacon, bleu cheese and burger on top.
Signature Oreo Milk Shake only $ 2.99 additional with my meal — Thick and delicious.

So, since I had coupons, and I was visiting a friend who happens to live RIGHT BEHIND the place, we stopped in and ordered food before heading out to the Shallow Grave.
It was nice, I ordered the Bacon Cheese burger combo and used my coupon for a free shake. The service was amazingly quick and I even had a little chat with the Manager. he remembered me from the event. :)
There’s a dinner rush, but there’s a slump afterwards, and that’s sad. The place is good, and the food is fast and fresh. More people should come here.

I’ve never been to WOW and seriously had no clue about the restaurant. I recently found out through a manager who works here that it was a branch off of PDQ. The manager gave me a free combo meal coupon to try this place out and it was the best gift I’ve received this year. In the handful of times I’ve come to eat pizza and burgers to see if I liked their food, I’ve been very impressed. I intend on bringing the entire family over. I’ve already recommend to my coworkers. This place is so good and CLEAN! Definitely recommend everything in the menu. Oh, and don’t forget to try the WOW sauce. Amazing!

I was teetering between four and five stars. On one hand, if you compare WTF to all restaurants, it’s a strong four stars. But, if you only rate it against fast-​food restaurants, it’s a five star for sure! Although, WTF is in-​between fast-​food and casual dining in a category called «Fast Casual». A fast casual restaurant is a type of restaurant in the United States that does not offer full table service, but promises a higher quality of food with fewer frozen or processed ingredients than a fast food restaurant. It’s a fairly new concept, but rapidly growing in popularity. I would call WTF one of the innovators of this concept.
So far, I’ve been here on two separate occasions. Both were consistently good in food and service. The crossroads between experience and dedication is high, and the bar has been raised. The managers are involved, work hard, and know what they are doing and it shows!
Because this restaurant is new, the menu is evolving; they are constantly trying new ideas and making improvements. I was impressed at how well feedback was appreciated. Even the president was «showing face» and welcoming customers. A business with concern and dedication at all levels is sure to succeed.
On to the food. I’ve tried several items off the menu so far, and all were good. I’ll start with the Burger Blue salad, which was mixed greens, onion, cherry tomatoes, chunks of hamburger, and topped with blue cheese crumbles and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. The flavor combinations were outstanding, and one of my top three favorites off the menu so far. I’ve tried the Pepperoni, Margarita, and Meat Lovers pizzas. All were surprisingly good! They’re made with fresh dough, pressed, then hand formed before going into a conveyor oven to cook. Then, they are placed in a second open –flame oven to give it that crispy crust. I had a bite of one of their hotdogs, which was a 100% Black Angus dog, split, & topped with relish, stadium mustard, and onions. I’m not a big fan of sweet relish, but it worked well with this hot dog. They have a kraut dog, & I believe I’ll be trying that the next time I’m there. The hot dog was really good! It almost had a kielbasa taste. The fresh grilled vegetables is a new concept they are trying out. Most of the vegetables were good & cooked well, but this was my only complaint, and it’s small. Some of the vegetables were slightly under-​cooked. I’m okay with the broccoli being under-​cooked; I can eat raw broccoli, but I think the onions should be cooked clear. I love a good caramelized onion!
My favorite, and deserving of a paragraph all it’s own, was the cheeseburger. I’m a sucker for a burger! It was interesting seeing how these burgers were cooked. The patty was fresh tasting, and very juicy. I would even go as far as to say my burger was cooked perfectly both times. All the toppings on the burger were fresh, and the bun was nice & fluffy, and slightly toasted. They are not the biggest burgers, but they are filling, and very delicious. The fries are also delicious! Baked for 30 minutes before they are fried. They really took the time to think this through and produce a good, quality product!
I’ve tried two of their desserts. The Oreo Cookie milk shake, and an ice cream sandwich. Both were awesome, obviously! It’s hard to go wrong with sugar. Believe it or not, I’m not much of a dessert eater. I’ve only developed a sweet tooth recently, but that ice cream sandwich was on point!
The dining area was spotless, with modern décor & a comfortable layout. I was lucky enough to get a tour of the kitchen and back, and it too was immaculate. I’m kicking myself for not trying this place sooner. There is nothing normal about this restaurant, and that is a good thing. This is innovation at its finest, and I am excited to see this concept grow. There’s a cornhole game out front, and they serve beer! They have a creative menu with really healthy options, and the execution is really good. With fresh ingredients, and fast and friendly service, this is a recipe for success!

Normally it would be hard for me to give 5 star credit to a fast food place, but this place doesn’t cut any corners with quality while making quick food.
If you’re a margherita pizza lover, this is one of the freshest that I’ve had. I was all around impressed with the vibe as well. It wasn’t too loud, and they have some large TV’s so you don’t have to miss the game while eating healthy fast food.
The Ice cream sandwich is genius. It’s like an oatmeal crème pie with Ice cream instead It’s a must have splurge.

Definitely enjoyed my first visit to this place, and will be coming back for sure!
Ambience — A+ for a quick dining experience its a very open and pleasing to the eye type of establishment. Also love the open kitchen
Cleanliness — A++ not much to expand on here. Looked like I could eat off any surface in the place. Also liked the hand cleaning station outside the bathrooms.
Seating — A++ this place has better seating arrangements than most restaurants. Such a variety, small booth, medium booth, extra large corner booths, high top tables, low top tables, and even a «bar» to sit at. No problem finding the correct seat here
Food — A+ food was clearly fresh and delicious. Felt like eating a burger straight off the grill at home. Hot dog my daughter had looked pretty tasty as well. Will come back to try the pizza and salad to complete my food critique.
Price — A. Considering you would pay the same for a McDonald meal deal, i would clearly pay this price for delicious and fresh (and real) food over fast food chain meals anyday
Variety: C — the only knock on this place I can find is variety is very small. Reminds me of a «five guys» with only a few simple choices. But this isn’t a place you would go to expand your palate, it’s somewhere to go for a quick and tasty lunch instead of sacrificing for a fast food junk meal. So therefore I won’t let variety take away a star.
I highly suggest going here for a quick, fresh, and delicious lunch alternative to the standard fast food joints

It’s basically a PDQ for burgers and pizza and hot dogs and the like. I usually get the taco salad with ground beef (fyi the ground beef is always cooked to perfection). The salad might not look that big, but they really pack it.
For the burgers, you get to pick your own sauce, like you would at PDQ and the bun tastes like they butter and toast it.

I appreciate a clean, fresh, and well managed fast food restaurant in Brandon. I recently tried the vegetable pizza with goat cheese and it was excellent. The sauce was my favorite component of the pizza. The staff here is always friendly and they provide great service.

Since it is very rare that I’m in Brandon, I had this place on my radar for awhile and stopped in one afternoon during the summer to check it out.
Unfortunately, that was a really bad idea. There were kids everywhere and while THEY seemed to be having a good time, it was not any environment for an adult like me looking for a calm place to enjoy a quick lunch.
Once kids went back to school, I strategically picked the right time to give it another shot when I was on that side of town.
First, if you’ve been in a PDQ and know you’re way around those stores, then you’ll recognize virtually everything about WTF including the drink, condiment and napkin station as well as the huge sink to wash your hands.
The exception is the menu. Much of what PDQ offers is not available at WTF and vice versa.
There is no chicken here of any kind. No tenders. Not even a chicken caesar salad. No turkey sandwiches either.
Instead, WTF offers burgers, dogs, pizzas and entrée salads featuring roasted vegetables, taco meat or tuna.
The burger tastes good and the pizza does as well, although I think the pizza itself looks more like one you serve to young children than teenagers or adults. Traditional toppings such as meatball, ham, chicken, mushrooms, green peppers, spinach and onions are not available.
Personally, I was pleasantly impressed by the burger blue salad as it had a lot of flavor and plenty of ingredients.
Big fan of DJ who wears the white suit and looks the part of being totally in charge of the kitchen. Good guy who knows how to communicate with people in the store.
Oh, and the «F» in WTF apparently now means «Fast» and not «Fresh.» That’s not my indictment of the food, it is clearly a subtle name change they made to emphasize the speed of getting food here.

Great fresh burger, super friendly service, and clean restaurant.
These fresh burgers are juicy and filling. I had the bacon cheeseburger w/​fresh fries and my husband had the bacon cheeseburger (doubled) w/​fresh fries. Both were great, freshly prepared to order and tasted awesome. Chocolate chunk cookie was «not bad».
I took off 1 star for the price. A bacon «Classic bacon cheeseburger» made double would’ve been $ 10 for just the burger! In comparison to similar fresh burger chains such as BurgerFi, I’d choose BurgerFi for the price and quality.

You can’t miss seeing the building with its bright neon chartreuse and red exterior. Come inside to large, open seating area with high ceiling. Developed by the owners of PDQ, you can see the similarities of design and culture.
The menu has 3 burgers, 3 pizzas, 2 hot dogs, fries and slaw and 3 salads to choose from along with shakes and cookies.
The design of the building is 5 star and the service is 5 star. The burger and cole slaw rated 3 star. Good for a quick stop to quiet hunger pangs but not up to top level of their sister chain, PDQ.
The play of their name with WTF is mildly amusing. Common usage will likely morph the name to Wow or Wow-​Burger.
