Ordered pizza and sauce for delivery on a Monday afternoon after about an hour and a half I tried to call only to hear the clomping footsteps of the delivery guy coming to my door, the sauce was missing and food was cold(the hungry Howies is 2 blocks away) we called back and told them of the missing sauces and the person scoffed and said she would get some out to here… Unfortunately this also took 50 minutes overall the experience sucked and I would be happier ordering elsewhere next time

Great pizza but if you had hungry howies in Michigan compared to Florida you’d gag. Michigander hh has different breadsticks(much better!) and the sauce size is minuscule here compared to what your supposed to get. It’s great pizza for the price but I’ve come to learn everything in Florida sucks compared to every where else lmao

HH in general is just not as good as it is in Michigan. Gave it another shot after a few disappointing turns at the Dale Mabry location. The three cheeser bread was exactly as I remember and was excellent! Beyond that, though, I was very disappointed. Also had a large onion and green pepper pizza with ranch crust. The delivery was quite speedy, but somehow the pizza was just lukewarm when we got it. The slices were barely cut and, on top of that, cut in extremely weird ways. Like they cut a bunch of tiny slices so there would be 12 instead of just having a uniform 10. Very weird. The ranch crust was good but the seasoning was very uneven — this was disappointing because the flavored crust is HH’s big selling point. The toppings were fine but the pizza was very lackluster overall. I’ll still frequent the buffets in the Bradenton area, but I think I’m about done with HH locations in Florida. It’s just not up to par and there are better options available.

crust was soggy, I only ordered 2 items on the pizza. To much garlic on crust. I’m from Detroit area, home of Hungry Howies. This is surely not one of the better Hungry Howies. Total lack of flavor

I had heard so much of Hungry Howie’s so I just had to try it. The pizza is great but I just love the many options of crust that they offer. The cashier recommended the butter crust flavor and stated that it is their best seller. I enjoyed it and will be coming back to Howie’s

One of our favorite carryout/delivery pizza places. The prices are good and since they added $ 5.55 carryouts on large pepperoni or cheese pizza it’s even better. I haven’t tried the salads or pastas but the subs and chicken wings are very good. The free flavored crusts are great. We love the butter cheese flavor. In the many years I’ve been there I have only ever had one«mess-up» where they gave us someone else’s pizza but they were very courteous, promptly cooked up a correct replacement and even offered to let us keep the one we weren’t supposed to get at no cost.

Good service, average pizza, decent value. Pizza generally arrives hot.
