This order was delivered to the work office. The food arrived very quickly. I ate a grilled chicken salad. The salad contained lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, black olives, mozzarella, and chicken. It was odd that mozzarella was in the salad, but it was a bonus. All the ingredients were fresh and the chicken was tasty. They gave plenty of chicken on the side. The chicken was asked to be on the side. The house Italian dressing was decent, nothing great. Will I go back? Yes. I would be interested in their pizza. They looked very good.

A short story: I’ve lived in New York for almost 10 years, and I’ve been spending some time recently catching up with a few friends who also happen to live in NYC now. Like all New Yorkers, you compare your favorite places to eat. The subject moved to pizza and Vinnie’s was brought up. Everyone got wide eyed and all of us uttering the«Oh my god“s that come out when food is just so, so good. He we were. Seasoned New Yorkers, with access to some of the best food in the entire world, and we’re reminiscing about how damn good the food is at a little local pizza place in teeny town in New Jersey. The pizza style is the New Jersey standard: Neapolitan American/New York style. I have never, ever had my pizza come out over, or underdone. Ingredients are quality, and used generously. It’s family run, and the people who work there have been working there as long as I can remember. Everyone is always kind, even when it gets crazy in there(which is often). When I have parties in my hometown, I pick up a few pizzas and family and friends always gush. Some even know immediately where it came from stating«Vinnie’s?» attaching«Good call». Maybe it’s a bit of local culture clouding all of our judgement, but I love this damn pizza.

It eh I guess… I had way better. Pizza was a little cold but it wasn’t that bad or maybe we were hungry…

We were in the area for the Somerset County 4-H Fair. Not being from this area, we looked on Unilocal for pizza places open 9−10pm. We were lucky to find great pizza! The owner and his wife greeted us and took the time to ask us how we were and how the pizza was. If you’re in the area and looking for a quick bite, stop by Vinnie’s. You won’t be disappointed!

I have to say this is the best specialty pizza in the area. I can’t resist this place when I drive by — the cheesesteak pizza and buffalo chicken pizza are the best. The sandwiches are good, humongous and stuffed with generous quantities of meat. This place has never disappointed. Worth the stop, don’t let the façade fool you, highly recommend!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. I am so glad this place in the area. I’ve actually been here a number of times over the years but I didn’t realize how great this place is. It’s an old school pizza shop but they’re keeping up with the times by offering all the different and unique slice pies(cheesesteak pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, etc.). The pizza at this place is beyond good. I’m a huge fan already of the cheesesteak and Buffalo chicken slices. It’s amazing how much meat they pack on the slices and they’re incredibly reasonably priced at $ 2.85/slice. It’s actually the best cheesesteak slice I’ve had and the buffalo chicken is up there, as well. I’ve also tried some of the subs and I’d highly recommend the Italian hoagie. They load it up with toppings and it tastes great. The service here is also great. The guys that work the counter are incredibly friendly and they make you feel very welcome. That’s always a plus. There is only one thing that prevents me from giving this place 5 strars. It’s the temperature inside the restaurant. My wife and I like to go and enjoy a couple of slices eating in and this place has virtually no AC inside. It is incredibly hot. But, it’s still some of the best pizza I’ve had in a very long time and I don’t think I’ll find better pizza in the area. Give this place a shot.

Great pizza with a variety of special toppings. Pasta lunch specials get you a lot of food for a decent price. I’d call ahead around peak hours as they handle many large orders for nearby offices.

Wow, the spinach and mushroom white pizza and baked ziti specialty slices are delicious! And for a special indulgence, fried Oreos. Good stuff, we will definitely be back. Haven’t found a pizza place we really like around here… until today!

Excellent pizza and wings here(Cluck U and Vinnie versions). I brought home a pizza from here one night and my kids actually like this pizza better than another place that we thought(and still think) is very good. They specifically ask for Vinnies now. I haven’t tried any of their dinner meals yet. Place is busy on Friday nights and that’s a good sign.

Excellent Philly cheeseteak w/p&o sandwich. Delicious chicken marsala with pasta and salad. Awesome chicken parmigiana entrée. Not too garlicky or salty. Seasoned just right. Big portions.

I have been going to Vinnies for a decade, and still love the service, food and pricing. The mini-mall it is located in has decent parking, and is easy to access. If you are in the Central NJ area stop by Vinnies for great pizza, sandwiches, dinners, and anything italian! The pizza is probably the best in NJ, it is delicious, and you have so much to choose from. The restaurant itself has little seating, so during lunch you might get lucky if you get there early. It’s just easier to get take out! They are open fairly late on the weekends, so if you want to order late, you can. I highly recommend going to Vinnies for the best pizza, and italian food in the Central NJ area!

As a pizza connoisseur I have tried most of the pizza joints in town and without fail I always retreat back to Vinnie’s. Vinnie’s has been in business since before I was born i think! lol I remember being 3 years old eating Vinnie’s. I don’t enjoy a thin crust pizza but I do like the pizza more well-done, they cook their pies just right. Just recently my husband discovered their dinner specials. Their vodka sauce is outstanding. Eggplant parm super yummy and as my husband would say, «SLICEDTHERIGHTWAY!»(A friend of ours slices theirs in circles, however, it should be sliced long ways… but thats besides the point)…Oh, and did i mention — The portions gigantic. The meals come with a salad, garlic knots, and are reasonably priced… ok i take it back. They are practically giving you food for free. The prices are amazing! They also have really awesome customer service. We called one night and spent probably 5 – 10 minutes on the phone because they explained each dish, special, etc. Then made suggestions. It was quite amusing because the guy was so pumped to get us to try something different. Only 4 stars because if you have read my other pizza joint reviews, all i am asking for is delivery… and they don’t deliver! :(

Vinnies has great food. Everytime I come home for the holidays or a visit I have to stop in and grab food here. The calamari is great… the Pizza has a variety of toppings also special toppings like buffalo chicken, cheesesteak, chicken marsala… etc…the subs are made fresh. anything you order here comes out great! I wish there was a Vinnies in Jacksonville, Fl. I’d order my Italian food from them. Theres not place like Jersey to get great italian food from. Vinnies is definitely my favorite spot.

I stopped by here the other day for a chicken parm sandwich and couldn’t ask for it to be any better. The half sub was plenty to fill me up, and was under five bucks! Plenty of cheese on top of hot juicy chicken breast with just the right amount of sauce, in a roll that was fresh and soft on the inside while being nice and toasted on the outside. Although this is more of a takeout place, it was brought out to me on legit dishware rather than a paper plate. Plus, of course, I give them thumbs up for saving paper. The food and service would be hard to beat. Five stars all around!
