This is a very small (6 booths and a few tables) pizza place. The service was efficient, friendly, and the pizza was just delicious!
They have soda and beer… no wine, which is not so unusual, and no problem.
Lots of toppings. Our two 10″ pizza was way too much for 4 people, cost was $ 40. Felt bit pricey, but we did order too much!!! I would recommend this pizza place.

Very decent pizza.
Garlic knots are oh so Garlicky!
Pizza is good, but sometimes it is sloppy. Even when its sloppy, the taste is still good. lol I always like to makes sure they don’t put too much sauce on so it doesn’t get sloppy.

Ordered from here around 10 times. Very inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza is 4 stars and others, 2. They deliver which is a plus, but consistency is key and it’s missing.

Great pizza joint for eat in or take out. Pizza and wings good. Salads can use a little help. Reasonable but not the cheapest you can find. I guess you get what you pay for. Ample toppings. Unlike that they actually cook the pizza dough all the way through.

Good pizza, stay away from the garlic knots. The pizza is New York style and they good be better served to use better ingredients like the NYS pizza a couple of miles west of them. Service is friendly, store is clean and they deliver. Better than chain pizza, but just the second best in Bradenton that we have found. Will keep coming back!

I expected service and good pizza
Received neither. brought family kids. Four people standing behind counter. no offer to take order or explain
kept it simplr with pizza. Had to go up to get it for the table.
Expectation for decent pizza crushed. Far cry from upstate NY bland pizza nevermind NYC.
My kids threw out discount coupons when they come in the mail
Pass and head to Michaelangelos instead on LWR and State road 70
More than worth it for service, smiles and LI quality italian family food

Went to this pizzeria today. Got a veggie pizza. Sorry, but we couldn’t even eat it. Had to go elsewhere to get an edible dinner. Very disappointed. s

This little pizza place has cornered the market on pizzas and strombolis…(this is all we have ever tried). Been to many places for pizza, but this is the best! Too bad it is so small and hidden beside the Dunkin Donuts on SR 64. We never go anywhere else when we want pizza or strombolis!

This is the best pizza delivery I have ever had. It’s very similar to a NY Pizza style place I used to go to when I lived in Denver … with the added bonus of DELIVERY!
I ordered:
Large cheese pizza — great. Large slices, thin crust, not too greasy. Not the best pizza ever, but for sure the best I’ve ever had delivered.
Large Caesar Salad — the lettuce was a little wilted and browned in a few places, but otherwise fine. I am assuming the off bits are not a normal occurance.
Zucchini sticks — Skip these unless you really just want something fried — I’m pretty sure they are from frozen
Garlic knots — SUPER good! Small knots that are perfectly garlicy and soft and I had to force myself to save some for Katie
Extra good? I am on crutches and the delivery guy offered to bring the food into the house for me … then helped chase my escaped cat back upstairs (second floor apartment). Good people — THANKS DELIVERY GUY!
This is for sure my go-​to pizza delivery place from now on :)

Being misplaced New Yorkers in the middle of Florida, we got attracted by the promise of a NY style pizza at D. Americo’s. A pie of Supreme (pepperoni, sausage, meatballs, mushrooms, onions, green peppers and mozzarella– the works) certainly was a nostalgic fix.
Pastas and salads on the table next to ours looked yummy too!
Nice clean place, young and energetic staff.
Definitely worth a visit!

After my review posted on here, I received an email from the owner. Didn’t expect it at all. We discussed our visit that was the reason for my review. It is very refreshing to frequent a restaurant where the owner actually cares about his customers experience. I explained to him that one semi bad experience will not keep us from returning and it sure won’t. They have by far the best pizza in our area and I refer all my friends and out of town guests there whenever I can. Don’t let my previous review keep you from going because you’ll be missing out on great food and an owner who actually cares.

We have had solid pizza here twice, with a large group of friends.
The white pizza with garlic was yummy. The garlic was just the right amount to give off a wonderful aroma, but not cause me to sweat garlic for the next 12 hours.
Our pizza with all the meats and anchovies hit the spot also. It was not too greasy but still a carnivore special.
The service was friendly and professional. The place was clean and well lit but, not busy.
This is casual, not high end. Recommended for your pizza fix.

Ate here with the promise of authentic NY Pizza. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the pizza. Good ingredients, authentic brick oven, and fast service.
Wife ordered a calzone and was happy. Average overall size. The crust was a bit thicker for most Florida pizza places which made her happy.
While we have no complaints the pizza was good, but nothing spectacular, and I definitely didn’t get that «I’m back in NY» type of feeling.
I’d say definitely try it, you may really like this place. Be aware, it shares a wall with Dunken Donuts so it’s really easy to miss. I drove past it twice with GPS.

I’ve been on a search for a decent pizza in this area for 7 years now. This one is actually pretty good.
The garlic knots were OK — not great — not bad.
We ordered our standard pepperoni & mushroom as a first time trial. The sauce was great, and so were the toppings. Next time we’ll order double cheese. The crust is what keeps me from giving this 5 stars. It really was one of the best pizzas we’ve had here, but the crust is just missing something. If we could put Francesco’s crust (one of my previous reviews) with D. Americo’s sauce, it would be a home run.
