They left ingredients off my pizza, over charged me, then tried to argue with me that it was *MY* fault!!! The menu clearly states the ingredients so how on earth could it be my fault if they leave things off? I recommend going to D’Americos Pizza, which is about a half mile down the road. D’Americo’s has better pizza, better prices; and they’re honest enough, and value their customers enough, to make things right if they make a mistake. Avoid Gianni’s at all costs.

Delicious pizza with fresh ingredients, cold beer, best wings in town, clean and excellent service. Do I need to say more?

This place has great pizza. I believe we had the Italian margherita pizza and some wings. They both were cooked well and were extremely tasty. We were visiting out of town and decided to eat somewhere and luckily we chose here. The food isn’t too pricy. I definitely recommend.

I’m surprised I haven’t review this place sooner! I’ve been here a million times since I’ve moved to the Bradenton area. The staff here was quick to know who I was considering I was in there once a week with my husband. The pizza is very good, but I always seem to get the baked rigatoni! It’s very clean and fast! That’s why we always come here! Enjoy!

You MUST try this place for Italian. The pizza, bacon & artichoke, is fantastic and they make, homemade, the best meatballs and sauce with ricotta I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The meatballs are pork heavy so very moist and the sauce is sweet but not sugary. Oh so tasty! I rarely order sauces or meatballs from places but this time was delicious. My bf and I agree that it’s on par, if not better than Pompillios and Dewey’s.

We were all craving a good pizza after our 9 hour day at Busch Gardens. This place did not disappoint! Our waiter Chris was excellent and the pizza was perfect with fresh toppings, large slices and served right from the oven. The garlic knots were heavenly! Would highly recommend!

The owners are from New York City as is my family. This is one of a very few pizza parlors(as we used to call them) in the Sarasota/Bradenton area who make a real pizza. We’ve only been there once and we will return. All we tried was the pizza but we will try their entrees next time. Worth the drive, pleasantly surprised. Restaurant looks rather plain from the outside in in a typical strip-center. You can tell the quality of the pizza by the excellent cheese, tasty and stretchy. It’s the real deal.

This place is just outstanding! We were recently on vacation in the area, and some friends of ours met us there for dinner. Excellent food, excellent service! You have just got to try the garlic knots… to die for! Meanwhile, the salads were excellent, and the pizza was the best ever!!! Even better, was our sever, Kendall, who was very, very friendly and attentive! I would give this place a ten star rating if I could!!!

Craved pizza for about two days, asked my little one what he wanted for dinner & he said pizza, searched Unilocal reviews & decided to try ‘em out. Well, I’m glad we did. It was slightly busy on a Friday night but we we’re seated immediately. Our server was pleasant, the garlic Parmesan wings were amazing(they’re were cooked to perfection; just they way I like my wings), I had the white spinach garlic pizza and that was good. And I took a piece on the lemon cake home which was light but more importantly moist & not overwhelmingly lemony(it was lemony but not like artificial like). Although, a tad bit pricey(no one really cares about price when the food is good). I can’t wait to go back for more wings.

My parents always get the Grandma’s pie and love it. I gave it a try and wasn’t in love. I felt it was missing substance. While I was eating it, I felt like I was still hungry.

Gianni’s is close to my job. For that reason I visit occasionally. I like their food well enough, but it doesn’t stand out in my mind as a go to place for pizza. Their brick oven is nice to cook the pizza in and it does add a smidgen of flavor but nothing to write home about. Their ingredients have always been fresh and their service has been just fine. Three stars for Gianni’s is what I give them because I never have been wowed. I will still go there for a quick lunch bite. You should check it out if you need a quick bite.

Garlic knots were good but the chicken parm sandwiches were too salty and when you bit into the chicken I had to check if it was cooked all the way because it was chewy. The grilled chicken was also just alright. Not worth the price. Hopefully the pizza is better.

I’ve been there multiple times over the past year or so, since I’ve moved to Florida from a suburb of NYC, and I must say that the food here is incredible. I grew up on some real good Italian food and Gianni’s does a magnificent job at accomplishing what many others in this area just cannot even get close to. I appreciate the brick oven style of all the food, since it adds a distinct flavor that just cannot be achieved through traditional ovens. It is one of the reasons why their pizza and wings are a go-to for me when I go to Gianni’s. The food is not the only great thing about the place. The design of the restaurant is modern, yet classic. It gives you a homey feel with all the older pictures of Italy, yet contemporary with the cool paintings on the wall. It is equipped with a few TVs that always have the game you want to watch playing, but it is not blaring, so if you don’t want to watch it you can easily ignore it. One of the best things about this restaurant is the staff, all starting from the top. Gianni, better known as Johnny, is a very hard working man who takes pride in his work, and it is evident in his product. It’s obvious even here on Unilocal,as he responds to reviews, good or bad, and tries to rectify anyone’s issues they may have had. The staff are always extremely friendly, helpful, and willing to accommodate any sort of requests you may have. If you’ve been there before, chances are they’ll remember you and make you feel like a regular. 5 out of 5 stars, without a second thought. PS: The cannoli is amazing here. And just to be clear, I’ve had a cannoli in world renowned Taormina, Sicily.

Gianni’s has more than just one location. We were very surprised with the modern look of the interior when we entered. They stay really busy because there are not that many places to eat in the area. The pizza crust is delicious, light and airy. We ordered the Margherita Pie, which is supposed to be the house special. There was not much cheese on it at all, so you really do not feel like you are eating a pizza. While it is healthier, it does not help the pizza craving that I had. We also tried the Garlic Fries because it sounded really interesting. It was fries in a bowl doused with olive oil, garlic powder, and some Parmesan cheese. I was really hoping for fresh garlic and not the powdered stuff that stays with you for days. We will be back to try it again once more.
