My toilet started semi-​flushing by itself every 15 minutes. I have had my experience with good plumbers/​bad and outrageous prices/​and fair. BEWARE – Lesson learned, a $ 54 service charge just to come out and then it will be deducted from the cost of the repair – I think not. Since I have clients that are members of Home Advisor Pros, I know the fee by Home Advisor Pro (whether they get the job or not) is born by the company. Well… they made it back with me. The Fluidmaster Fill Valve (a $ 20 part at most), turned into a $ 170 bill and less than ½ hour repair (and that was with a $ 25 off coupon).
Eric was very nice, kept the area clean, and they dispatched the truck within the hour but… next time… I surely won’t be calling them.
I hate the secret price list until the person comes to the house.

Shawn McGrail and the team from Mr. Rooter inserted a sleeve through our sewer drain pipe because tree roots had penetrated the pipe. This was lucky for us because the pipe had not yet collapsed and the sleeve option was less than half the price of digging up our yard and having a new line installed. They were knowledgeable, efficient and professional. They showed up on-​time and completed the job on-​budget and without any issues. I would highly recommend them.
